Unusual but all right
At first glance, the campsite makes an unusual impression. It is artificially fully shaded with trusses and taut netting and is mainly used by permanent campers, who also separate themselves from each other with additional tarpaulins or nets. The plots allocated on arrival are bordered by low walls.... Vehicles taller than 3.20 meters cannot fit under the covers. Satellite reception is available. The areas in the pitches are half hardstanding and half loose sand. Each pitch has its own electricity and water. The sanitary facilities are older, the toilets have no seats, there is no paper and the shower does not drain well. There is a well-equipped small supermarket, a restaurant and a pub in the evening. A children's playground, soccer pitch, soccer field, boules and a small climbing garden. A private swimming pool, which is so new that it is not yet visible on the Google satellite view, but must be paid for separately. The beach (Hundervebot) is a few hundred meters away. On the inside of the fence you can walk your dog all the way around. The campsite is a little out of the way, but a (green) cycle path leads safely into town. At €49 for a camper van, 2 people and a dog, I still think it's slightly overpriced.

I only needed to stay there for one night as I was passing through.
After this campsite, I had had enough of camping for a while.
Practically only permanent tenants who hole up in their castles made of tarpaulins and rags. Of course, everyone has their own barbecue and TV, both of which are used extensively well into the night. There is no peace and quiet until well after midnight. When it comes to the sanitary facilities, you... might wonder what you should call permanent tenants who leave toilets like this behind. In the restaurant you only get something to drink if you order a meal, notabene at 4.00 pm. Incidentally, the pitch rent was 30 euros for me and my vehicle.

The first impression is quite good. The site is located on a sandy, stepped terrain and 75% of the pitches are occupied by permanent guests. The pitches are extremely cramped. There were four employees at reception. Two men were busy with the computer, one referred me to the ladies at reception who were chatting. After about 15 minutes, one of them came down to deal with me. Too many permanent guests, you don't really need others.
