We are traveling with WW and then 2nd children now teenagers. Well-kept campsite, nice staff, happy all round. Very close to the sea. There is a large swimming pool, gym, restaurants, supermarket, bars, launderette etc. TOP Sanitary facilities are cleaned 4-5 times a day and are top.NegativThe other guests sometimes leave the toilet facilities unclean and you think the cleaning staff don't clean. The cleaning staff are nice and greatSuper campsite for yearsIn the Empuriabrava area, the campsite has become much more attractive in recent years due to the upgrading of the campsite facilities and is therefore very popular with us.
Thanks to the long pool and the large sunbathing area, there is room for every camper and there is plenty of entertainment. Back... then there was only a small pool in the garage and you had to jostle for space. The large outdoor soccer/baketball area is a hit with children and teenagers. The restaurants and bars are also very inviting. In high season from 9.00 am. So not so great for many early swimmers.Very well-kept campsite not far from the beachThe campsite is well located. Only a 5-minute walk from the beach, but if you want peace and quiet you should choose a pitch in the outer area of the site. At the weekends the local permanent campers stream in and cause a certain level of noise well into the night. The large pool is absolutely clean.... New fitness area! The snack bar with large outdoor area was always well frequented with normal prices. The quality of the food "to go" was not so great. Better to eat on site. The campsite prices were reasonable compared to the neighboring campsites. The site is also suitable for large motorhomes. A security service patrols day and night and the staff are friendly. Reservation / briefing after arrival went great. You get everything you need on this site, there is a small but adequately stocked store, a pizzeria and a bar (together), a large swimming pool and the opportunity to train in a sports room. The pitches... are large enough depending on the requirements, what we liked is that the place is generally quite quiet, and if you want to walk in 10 minutes in the middle of the city. The staff is usually always polite (as you call into the forest so it comes back), the showers and toilets were always clean (depending on the user, whether they are also so at home?) and the place was kept clean. The nice thing is that it is possible to bring your dogs. And like everywhere else there are dog owners who don't clean up after their dogs from time to time. The site operator would have to set up such dog bag dispensers, maybe that would help. What a pity is that they have set up the dog beach at the bottom and you have to drive down by car (can because about 2 kilometers far), so you should consider whether the dog beach comes further up because many holidaymakers also come from the campsites. For me, the infrastructure and the price-performance ratio are just right. I think the large swimming pool (50 m) is great, even vacationers who like to do strength training are in the right place. Several large shopping centers are about 1.5... km away by bike. There is also a store on the site, but the selection is limited and the price level relatively high. There is plenty on offer for children (e.g. playground, climbing area, pool, etc.), as well as for adults (gym, pool, supermarket, restaurant with outdoor terrace). It is a nice and short walk... to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, the dog beach is quite far away and there you are disturbed by the practicing kite surfers, who actually have their own beach section, but apparently it is not long enough. There are various supermarkets nearby (approx. 2km away), but the campsite's own supermarket also offers the essentials. We also found it a little awkward, as the dog beach is almost 2 km from the northernmost end of the beach (towards Roses). In addition, the restaurant was closed two days after our arrival, although quite a lot of campers were still coming until our departure. We... couldn't fault the cleanliness of the site and the sanitary facilities. There are even disinfectant dispensers in the women's toilets. You can do your shopping in the small store on the campsite or at Lidl in Empuria, or the other large stores in the area. There are many dogs, although there are still dog owners who do not remove their dogs' droppings outside the campsite, mainly on the way to the beach (but this is a problem caused by the campers).Automatisk oversat.

Relatively few Germans, but we can change that! Drive there!Beautiful place in a great lagaWe spent 3 weeks here in July 2014. We stayed on the rear part of the pitch. Absolute peace and quiet, shade better than expected. As there is always a bit of a breeze in the afternoon, you don't need air conditioning in the WOWA. The pool is huge and great for swimming laps. Opens at 9:00 a.m. The supermarket... is ok, bakery top, little waiting. There is a Lidl 2 km away. In Ampuriobrava you can have a nice meal or just go shopping. There are also discos there. Also easy to reach by bike. Rosas is about 8 minutes by car. If there is a strong wind, simply drive to Sta. Margarida to the beach. The houses keep out a lot. There is also a nice promenade to stroll along. Many nice repeat guests from NL, F and B. Approx. 15% German guests. It's worth taking bikes with you.Automatisk oversat.

The sanitary facilities were fine and were cleaned frequently. The path to the beach was short and you could walk there quickly. The campsite is very dog-friendly, but unfortunately... some dog owners take advantage of this. They walk their dogs on unoccupied pitches with the intention of doing their "business" there. Fortunately, most of them have their poop bags with them, but not all of them. As dog owners ourselves, we have no understanding for such behavior, nor do we understand that the campsite operator does nothing about it. The mini market provided us with good bread and rolls, the rest was not particularly useful. In conclusion, I can recommend the campsite with the restrictions mentioned, we will probably come back again.Automatisk oversat.

We have been visiting the site for 3 years and have noticed an increasing lack of interest on the part of the staff. While the site was still clean at the beginning, this year we found dog poo not only all over the site but also on our pitch... and others. Although this is also simply an impertinence on the part of the dog owners, we have repeatedly observed staff who have seen this and have neither intervened nor removed the "consequences". Families with small children are therefore strongly advised not to stay here. The access gate to the beach was apparently closed at 18:00 due to staff cuts and was sometimes only opened at 11:00 in the morning, so that the proximity to the beach became a detour via the main entrance of more than a kilometer.Automatisk oversat.
