We were very lucky with our pitch directly on the lake, the pitches in the middle of the campsite were very small, so that you almost sat in the neighbor's awning.
The facilities at the campsite are outdated and no longer up to date. "Niet zijn probleem"Hele kleine plaatsen 6x9 past net tentje op geen caravan (met luifeltje)Camping mail gestuurd dat we met caravan komen voor 3 weken van ruim 7 meter. Ze hadden een plaats voor ons dus geboekt. Afmetingen zijn niet zichtbaar op de site. Komen we bij camping aan is de plaats nog geen 7x9 meter. Daar past onze caravan met luifel niet op! Bij de receptie gevraagd waarom ze deze... plek aangeven als het niet past... " de caravan past, wij weten toch jiet dat je ook een luifeltje er aan wilt hangen! (Laat staan dat je misschien ook nog buiten voor je caravan kunt wilt zitten). Het was ons probleem en we moesten maar zien. They didn't want to give us any more money (not even 50-50). We voelen ons echt gefopt. No more. Ook als dit al niet was gebeurd zou io ee camping niet aanraden. De camping ernaast zijn mooiere plaatsen en lievere mensen aan receptie.Automatisk oversat.

The SPAR opens at 6:50 am and is worth a short, beautiful walk along the lake, as there is a great selection. Many activities for all physical abilities in the immediate vicinity. From here it is 10 minutes by car and 15 minutes by bus to Kufstein. Small supermarket directly in the village of Vorderthiersee (7 minutes on foot) with everything you need and two restaurants. Best starting point for hiking, climbing, cycling... in the immediate vicinity and in the Kaiser Mountains. The lake is very clean and relatively warm, making it ideal for swimming. Lounge and a small freezer for cold packs available. Very friendly operators.

But not the sanitary area in the men's wing. Here, however, only the shower (there is only one), there is mold on the ceiling. This is also the only reason for the star deduction. The operators are super nice and uncomplicated. The permanent campers are friendly. The lake is awesome! We ate excellent pizza in the restaurant by the swimming pool. It wasn't easy to get in and out with a 6.30 motorhome. The operator was very friendly. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years.... mold in the men's shower. The dishwashing area has also been completely renovated. The price-performance ratio in September was excellent. We felt extremely comfortable there. We are also familiar with 5-star luxury campsites. But we didn't miss them at the Rüppenhof.... Very quiet, directly on the very clean Thiersee, where you can enjoy a nice swim. Shopping facilities in the nearby village, sanitary facilities very clean and well-kept, scented. Dishwashing somewhat inconvenient, as only... one basin with warm (not hot) water, the other 4 basins only cold water. Drinking water not at the pitches and our electricity cable was too short at 20 m. Beautiful landscape, very friendly staff, you quickly feel at home there.Automatisk oversat.
Familie S.April 2012There are two campsites next to each other at Lake Thiersee. Once again, we consulted the "camping.info oracle" before our arrival and chose this site. Camping Rüppenhof is a very family-run site, characterized by permanent campers. There is no food supply on the site itself, but this is possible in... Thiersee (800m) or Germany (10km). When registering, guests receive all kinds of information material about the region, and the staff are always happy to answer any further questions in a friendly manner. We were free to choose our pitch, after a tour with the groundsman. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, but clean and friendly. There is no children's bathroom, but that doesn't seem to bother the young families. As you can see again: the facilities are not everything, the flair has to be right. Our conclusion: Highly recommended, especially as the surroundings cater to all the home movie clichés in the best possible way. Gladly again!Automatisk oversat.
