- Holger B.August 2023Positivemanageable size (small), very familiar, very well-kept, all staff very courteous and friendlyNegativEven for the small site, the sanitary facilities are too poor ... 2 showers, 3 toilets and 2 urinals for the men, 2 showers and 4 toilets for the womenAugust 2023A really very nice place, small and nice, very family-run, small store on site, restaurant also okay, but there are better alternatives in the area.
Very pleasant, especially for families with children, with a children's and "normal" pool and very shallow access to the sea.
Unfortunately, the water... is not quite as clear as in many other parts of the country, which is due to the medicinal mud.
Children's entertainment once a week. Free fish once a week including drinks in the hotel's own konoba.
Dogs are allowed on the campsite, not by the sea. Walks are rather difficult, there are very few opportunities to walk directly from the campsite.
Will we come again ... ??? There was a rumor about a manageable extension, especially a new / additional sanitary building! THEN certainly again!!!Automatisk oversat. - Maximilian E.June 2023PositiveChild- and family-friendly resort, location on the island, children's pool and playground right next to the beach bar, short distances, beach with very shallow entry into the waterNegativRoughly gravelled pitches, rather "un-Croatian" beach, playground and children's pool in the blazing sunRelaxed space for young familiesWe spent two weeks at Kamp Slamni with two small children (1.5+3.5) shortly before the main season in 2023. We were able to pitch our large family tent on the pitch - unfortunately, like all pitches, it was roughly gravelled and rather sharp, which is not ideal in a tent. Our pitch had shade for most... of the day. We were very close to the beach, the playground, the children's pool and the beach bar with a bowling alley - everything we need at our stage of life ;)
We found the campsite to be very family and child-friendly, the site is very small and well laid out and is very well maintained. The beach is rather "un-Croatian" with shallow and murky water, on the beach and in the water it can sometimes be painful when playing with the children, here I considered buying bathing shoes for the first time in my life. The location on the island of Krk is good, you can do all your daily errands on foot or by bike and you can get almost anywhere quickly by car. During our visit, it felt like 90% of the visitors were caravans or motorhomes from Germany, a few Austrians and Slovenians. There was quite a lot of traffic on the site and also some who spent their stay on several pitches. It was nice to see how lovingly, dedicated and family-run the site is.
When we left, we already made a reservation for next year :)Automatisk oversat. - Hartwig E.September 2022PositiveGood starting point for all activitiesNegativNot for people who want to relaxNice little campsiteCamping Slamni, a beautifully situated, clean campsite. The location is perfect. We spent a few lovely days there with our dog in September 2019. At that time we already realized that it is a bit complicated to walk the dog.
Because it is forbidden over the beach and so you have to go out through the... CP. onto the street. Nevertheless, we booked a pitch there again for three weeks in September 2022. On arrival, the staff were delighted to tell us that the sanitary facilities were new. However, after our first visit, it turned out that the mold in the showers and the wobbly toilet seats were the same as three years ago. The pitch we had booked would have been great for us (even with a view of the sunset and lagoon). If it hadn't been for the neighbors! We have nothing against children, we have two ourselves, but when every pitch, tent or bungalow is filled with the sound of babies crying around the clock, it becomes too much. After even an obvious premature baby was carried around the campsite screaming like an exhibit with his eyes covered (so that everyone could enjoy it) and the influx of new guests with newborns didn't let up, we left after 6 days. The reception then had the cheek to charge us for the full three weeks we had booked. Only after a heated discussion was the staff prepared to only charge us for the 6 days. Conclusion: the next time we go on vacation to a baby ward, it can't be any louder. To the fresh, unreasonable parents of newborns: Why don't you stay home with your babies until they become more independent, because that way nobody, parents and the other campers get anything out of their well-deserved vacation.Automatisk oversat. - Rainer B.September 2019PositivePrice-performance ratio Cleanliness friendliness Location Small place (manageable) Quiet Food in the restaurantNegativNoneSimply great!Hello, it's our first time here and we'll definitely be back. The site is idyllically situated in a bay. The restaurant belonging to it is simply great. Ideal for hiking and mountain bike tours. The staff are very friendly and the sanitary facilities (with automatic sliding doors) are very, very clean! Greetings Petra and Rainer from FranconiaAutomatisk oversat.
- Peter G.August 2019PositiveLocation, the seaNegativNarrow plotsBeautifully situated, plots wellWe are currently staying at the beautifully situated Slamni campsite. Beautifully terraced right by the sea, access relatively narrow, pitches narrow. Due to the terracing, sometimes difficult maneuvering to park the caravan on the gravelled plot (mover advantageous!). CP ideal for exploring the island... of Krk. Shopping in the village not recommended, the 6km walk to the "Plodine" shopping center is worthwhile. Overall: Measured against the standards in Croatia: good campsite.Automatisk oversat.
- Rosario M.July 2019NegativNo possibility to bathe with the dogs. Dog washbasin 30 cm from the waste water disposal of the mobile homes. Only 2 showers. Never againSlamniI have to say the campsite does not offer what it promises the sanitary facilities are new but are cleaned too rarely. We arrived with a dog: no poop bags, dogs are not allowed on the beach and the dog washing area is 50 cm next to the waste water disposal of the mobile homes. The staff are very unfriendly... and can't deal with criticism. There are only 3 toilets at the men's which are permanently occupied. When asked to leave earlier, the site manager only said Klaro if you pay everything you have booked !!!! And in a really derogatory tone.Automatisk oversat.
- SARAH K.June 2019PositiveCleanliness top Pool top Animation good Very friendly and helpfulNegativThere are actually no disadvantages Except w lan does not work everywhereTop only to recommendIf something did not work, the janitor was immediately on the spot and has the error directly eliminated top location pool clean beach clean and all this right on the doorstep very suitable for families with children of all ages highly recommendedAutomatisk oversat.
- Ulf H.August 2018PositiveSmall and very cleanNegativPitches just big enoughSmall and niceVery small site, pitches just big enough for caravans. Sanitary facilities are great and super clean. The restaurant makes a good impression, the small bay is only for the campsite and therefore manageable and enough space for the guests. absolutely recommended for a few daysAutomatisk oversat.
- Günter S.June 2018Positivequiet, small, cleanNegativI don't really knowGreat little placeWe were here for the 7th time, this time in the pre-season, it was full as always. That speaks volumes. Guests from all over the world GB,N,S,CS,I etc.The site is quiet and everything you need to relax is there.Bread rolls are available on the site, more in town (10 min). The staff are hardworking and... friendly. Milan from the reception, who has been at the campsite for years, is always available to answer questions. Unfortunately, the site has lost its looseness and clarity due to the construction of the glamping huts. Already booked for 2019Automatisk oversat.
- Holger M.May 2018PositiveCleanlinessNegativPool and bar closedGood campsite but no pool before June ...Good, clean place. Friendly staff. Great location. Unfortunately the sea is not as clean as usual in Croatia and neither the pool nor the bar is open before June.Automatisk oversat.
- Roland N.May 2018PositiveVery clean and nice sanitary facilities. Very quiet location The restaurant offers a good selection at a good price-performance ratioNegativFloor unsuitable for tents The gym, pool and bar are not open in the low season (Whitsun).Very small clean campsite in a very quiet locationI chose the campsite for motorcycle excursions on Krk for two nights. On arrival I was greeted by a moderately motivated gentleman at reception. The check-in went very quickly, there was no briefing (obviously not necessary given the small size of the site). The site is completely unsuitable for tents.... The pitches are all very nicely terraced and laid out with relatively coarse gravel, death for any tent floor and the campers also complained because walking without shoes is not possible. Then a major disadvantage in my opinion: neither the advertised fitness studio nor the pool or bar are open in the low season. But there are also advantages. The pitches are beautifully laid out and offer plenty of shade. The sanitary facilities were really immaculate and the beach is certainly very suitable for swimming when the water temperature is right. The supermarket on site only has a very limited selection. However, it is only a few hundred meters to a supermarket in the village, which is also very small, but very well stocked. Overall, I liked it better in the village and on the campsite than in the larger towns or campsites, e.g. in Baska or Krk.Automatisk oversat.

- Henning T.September 2017Positive- Quiet and well-kept place - Beach area suitable for small children - Play facilities on the pitch - Restaurant and mini marketNegativ- General carte blanche for dog owners - Promised waste water connection was missing - Lack of hygiene in the cocktail bar - Pool water was dirtySmall, well-located place with shortcomingsSmall campsite with its own beach, which is also suitable for small children. The pitches and sanitary facilities are good, but the site also has some shortcomings that I would not have expected given the high price. But first the positives: the pitches are well maintained and the layout of the site... makes sense. There is a cocktail bar near the beach area, a small pool area and a play area for children, all of which is fine for a site of this size. Unfortunately, the water in one of the pools was unacceptable (yellow) and was not changed during our stay. The bartender cut the limes for my cocktail without washing his hands, directly after he had removed the remains from the sink drain, an absolute no-go. The promised waste water connection on our (expensive) premium pitch was not available, I had asked in advance by e-mail, but on arrival there were only excuses. It was also fitting that the obligation to keep dogs on a lead on the site was not enforced, nor was the ban on dogs on the beach, which is very unpleasant for parents of small children. Slamni is relatively expensive for a small and remote site, so I had expected more.Automatisk oversat.
- Harald R.August 2017SuperEverything top.water on the place beach because of heilschlamm not typically clear (but much warmer) but with 15-20 min walk it is already snorkeling suitable. We were very satisfied and would come again.Automatisk oversat.
- Tanja B.July 2017Positive-direct beach location with gently sloping pebble beach - Cozy and quiet atmosphereNegativ-small pitches -too small sanitary areaCozy little campsite on the island of KrkCamping Slamni is a very small and cozy campsite on the island of Krk. It borders the village of Klimno, where there are 4 restaurants, a bakery and a small supermarket. There is not much else going on in Klimno itself. There is also a tiny supermarket on the campsite, which offers the essentials. There... is also a restaurant and a cozy beach bar. In our opinion, the campsite is very suitable for families with small children. We had children aged 4-15 with us. The pebble beach has a nice shallow slope and the water is a bit murky due to the mud from Soline. But we didn't find that too bad. Although the beach is small, it was never crowded. As the campsite is located in a bay, there are no strong waves. Due to the size of the campsite, smaller children can move around freely and the small playground and children's pool were very popular. On Thursdays there was a small fishing festival with live music in the wine cellar. They offered free wine and fish. We thought that was very nice. We didn't like the sanitary facilities. They were always clean because the cleaning fairy was there all day, but with 2 showers, 4 toilets and 4 washbasins they were a bit small. Because the door was always open, you couldn't wash yourself at the basins. It was the same for the men. The pitches are really small (approx. 5 x 10 m) and we couldn't put up our large awning and made do with a small travel awning and sun awning. Our caravan is 7.50m long and our car just fitted behind it. The width of the pitches is just tight. Further shopping facilities can be found inland. A large Plodine supermarket is about 8 km away. Just before Krk town there is a huge Lidl supermarket and a DM drugstore. The prices there are of course lower than in Klimno. We had a great time and would vacation here again (albeit outside the high season).Automatisk oversat.
- Christian A.July 2017PositiveSmall, familiar, clean...NegativNothing?Small and fine!We are always looking for smaller, more intimate places. This is one of them. Beautiful location by the sea. Quiet enough even in the high season! The sea here is not crystal clear due to the bay, but it is warm and clean. Almost no surf. We've been here twice this year and we rarely do that. Great location for short breaks coming from Austria.Automatisk oversat.
- Christian B.June 2017PositiveVery beautiful and idyllicNegativPitches far too small.Really nice campsite, unfortunately much too small pitchesWe had booked in advance. It's not easy to find the campsite and the roads there are narrow and increasingly winding. When we arrived we were thrilled, it is beautiful, with a pool next to the bar and on the stone beach - it would have been a really nice vacation for our family, unfortunately we couldn't... get onto the pitch with our caravan (and we really don't have a big one - 6.60m long) and uphill. It was not possible to maneuver with the car. I guess you can only get onto the pitch with a mover, which we don't have yet. The neighboring pitch was used by a motorhome, which told us they also had great difficulty getting on. An awning is no longer possible under any circumstances. Unfortunately, we couldn't get any help at reception so we had to leave again - the deposit was refunded without any problems but with small deductions of a few euros. I don't know what the other pitches are like, but no. 60 is only for tents or caravans with a mover, as there are also 2 trees in the middle.Automatisk oversat.
- Klaus N.May 2017PositiveBeautiful location. Clean sanitary facilities.NegativPitches far too narrow. Motorhome - Markiese - end.Nice location. Very clean.Small fine CP. Clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately a boatyard/harbor next door with loud working noises. The store was not open. The beautiful village is easy to reach on foot.Automatisk oversat.
- Reiner U.September 2016PositiveSmall quiet very well maintained friendly. Nice beach bar.NegativWater because of the healing mud (which some people smear on themselves!) Not as clear but 2-3 degrees warmer than outside the bayVery well-kept small place with a nice beach barPerfect for families with small children, nice little bay with no sea urchins, water not as clear as elsewhere due to the somewhat silty mud, but warmer, quiet, well-kept, clean and friendly. Other beaches, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance - we'd love to come back here again - the cozy beach bar with its quiet music is the perfect place to end the evening.Automatisk oversat.
- Simone L.July 2016PositiveClear, child-friendly and not overcrowdedNegativThe parking lot was always very fullVery nice placeWe were there in the high season in 2016 and will definitely be back. The pitches are a bit smaller, but it's quiet, you can keep an eye on the children and don't have to worry about them getting lost. The beach is very quiet and there is plenty of space. The sanitary facilities could be bigger, but they were clean. The staff are friendly and the prices in the small supermarket are not too high.Automatisk oversat.
