It is very quiet and cozy you only hear the river flowing next door. Shopping etc. everything in the village. The sanitary facilities are tip top and the snack bar is very tasty. The pitches are lined up without hedges etc. in between. The ground is damp because of the location. I enjoyed the month.Automatisk oversat.

Fresh bread rolls delivered every morning. The site is easily accessible even in heavy rain, no sinking in on the grass pitches. Good price-performance ratio.
Very nice hiking opportunities... on the other side of the Sitter. Good public transport connections to St. Gallen. Be sure to visit the botanical garden, it's not very big but unique, deserves 5 stars. Playground for children.NegativPrice performance is not right.Beautifully situated site on the riverbank.The WOMO pitches are far too small, less than 35 m2. - Rosemarie S.April 2019PositiveNice operatorNegativSimple sanitary facilities - like at a camping municipal in France - at a high overnight price.Simple space for this priceThe location on the river is beautiful - but the pitches directly on the river are occupied by permanent campers. It may be cool in the river valley and at the edge of the forest even in summer, but the site would not offer any shade as it is all meadow. However, it was cold and the unheated, very basic... sanitary facilities made themselves unpleasantly noticeable. When I asked if the radiator in the shower area could be turned on at least briefly beforehand, I was told that it wouldn't be enough to heat the rooms sufficiently anyway. It would only be switched on at night, otherwise it would be too much of a waste of energy. However, it was also cold in the morning, but at least the water in the shower was nice and hot and the showers were large. We had chosen the campsite because we wanted to go to St. Gallen, the bus stop is about 15 minutes walk up the steep hill, the bus runs frequently enough and the connection is unproblematic. The very friendly operator had all the information we needed. There are also plenty of tips and options for other activities. However, we won't be going there again - the price/performance ratio is simply not right.Automatisk oversat.

This beautifully situated campsite is run by very nice people. You can quickly reach the center of St. Gallen by public transport. But you can also just stay here to relax and look out over the river or read a book and have a cold drink or a delicious veal sausage at the snack bar.Automatisk oversat.

There is a river right next door. The beautiful town of St. Gallen is nearby, but the small towns of Gossau etc. are also worth a visit. What I really liked was the family atmosphere on the campsite. You also... quickly get in touch with the permanent pitch owners because you often meet up in the evening in front of the Stüble in a convivial atmosphere. Next bus station 500m (only feeder bus runs quite rarely), bus station with connection to St. Gallen or to the train station 10 minutes walk away. You can get to the next town by moped or car and have good bus and... train connections to St. Gallen, Kreuzlingen and Lake Constance. Unfortunately no restaurant, only a kiosk. Many permanent campers, ideal for fishing. High recreational value if you want to really relax.Automatisk oversat.
