- Jürgen W.September 2017Positive- very quiet place - close to the beach - short distance to the centerNegativ- Not suitable for children and young people as there are no play or leisure facilities.Quiet place, absolutely recommendable. We have now spent a total of 9 days at Camp Sutikla and have felt very comfortable. The site was also very full in September. By chance we found a comfortable pitch for our caravan with awning in the far corner of the site, which meant we were in the first row, separated only by the shore road, about... 50 meters from the sea. The advantage of our pitch was that it was sunny in the morning, shady from the afternoon and we had an unrestricted view of the water at all times. The sanitary facilities were completely modernized some time ago and were cleaned several times a day. In heavy rain, which we unfortunately had on two days, large parts of the central area of the pitch are under water. The Podgora promenade with its countless restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors is just a 5-minute walk away. There is a small market on the square, which opens daily at 8:00 a.m. and covers a minimum basic requirement of drinks, bread and other foodstuffs at overpriced prices. There is another supermarket in the village, which we can only recommend for emergency supplies. In Makarska, about 8 km away, you can buy everything at reasonable prices at Kaufland, Lidl and Konzum right at the beginning of the village. A very clean textile beach is located directly in front of the campsite, nudist beaches can be reached on foot via the coastal road or by car in 2 or 4 kilometers. CCI, ACSI and ADAC are accepted with a 5% discount on the basic price. Our conclusion as a married couple (47 years old) without children with a caravan: We liked it very much and will definitely come back to this campsite!Automatisk oversat.
- André G.July 2016NegativUnsolicited wake-up calls in the morning for your own administrative purposes.clearly too expensiveWe stayed here overnight while passing through and paid around EUR 35 for a pitch (family with three children). On arrival after midnight (reception open 24 hours!) the adults' passport details were requested. The children's passport details were requested in a very unfriendly manner at 8 in the morning. For us: Kamp Sutikla Podgora - never again.Automatisk oversat.
- Familie S.July 2013We have been to several campsites in Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia and Greece and can only partially confirm the comments below. The sanitary facilities are a few years old but acceptable (you can't expect new toilets and showers at every campsite). The cleanliness was certainly below average... (5 out of 10 pitches are below average), but still acceptable. It is not tragic if one or two out of 10 toilets are not completely clean. There were always enough clean ones. Sand in the sanitary facilities also occurs on the best campsites. The site is beautiful and well located. It has no restaurant and only one useless store. However, there are plenty of shops right next to the campsite. The campsite is only separated from the pebble beach by a road with almost no traffic. The esplanade along the sea invites you to take a stroll. We would come again.Automatisk oversat.
- Peter Z.June 2013I have never seen such an unkempt facility, the sanitary facilities with their entrance grilles are reminiscent of a former prison or similar, the reception was unfriendly and disinterested. The woman in the market is friendly, but doesn't have the selection you would like. Most of the site is occupied by tents that are rented out to Czech vacationers. The cleaner was completely overworked.Automatisk oversat.

- Viktor P.July 2011Dear All, I’m back from holidays in Croatia. We were traveling along the see over all the country from Istria to Dubrovnik. Each night we were sleeping at different camp (car, tent, 2 people). I can compare service between the places have visited and want to write you my report from 1 night in auto camp... SUTIKLA: I was not satisfied with services in this camp. In the day 16.7.2011 at 7:30 O’clock morning I found pissed and shitted toilets in same state as previous night, no paper at the toilets, nowhere. When I check the control list of toilet service – it was unexpectedly fulfilled . There was information that person who cares about it checks the bathroom and toilet at 6:00, 8:00, 10:00, 12:00 - all clear, 4 signatures… It means that nobody cares about toilets and nobody want to solve this things all the morning, maybe after midday…. So I went to the reception with this paper and ask the person what is it. Answer was – it is our internal document, not for you. Ouh!!! I ask the person for sale from the bill, because I couldn’t use the toilet, I can’t take a services which I should pay (and this is one night what I planned to be here). Negative answer. Ok I told the person that didn’t pay and will be waiting for chef.. At 11:00 I was back from the beach. Somebody was sitting at the reception, maybe chef. Again I explained the situation about bad services and ask the person for sale from bill. Again negative answer, many words, I remember sentence about normal standard services in camps…I’m not accommodate in Hotel….Ok person suggested to make a record in the book for requests and complains. I did it. The record is written at page 38. I can tell you it was worst place I met in camps in Croatia. Camps with 1 star were better than this one with 2 stars, I can compare it.. Toilets and bathroom in bad state, no cleaning, chaos in places for camping (campers have arranged places at the camp’s roads), people in reception… and at the end one of most expensive cost for night (in compare with 1-3star camps we met in Croatia).
