Supply and disposal directly at the site and if you wanted, there was even a pitch with a sandpit. We received a friendly welcome at reception... and were always given good advice.
You can hear the adjacent road, but it doesn't really bother you. The WiFi is officially not working due to a lightning strike, so ask in advance if necessary. Shopping was only possible outside by car, if you have an e-bike.

The large pitches are located on terraces on the slope and you have a great view of the surrounding mountains. The individual pitches are bordered by hedges. There are pitches with grass only and some that are partly paved.
The sanitary facilities are relatively... new and OK. Only the water pressure is a bit low. Everything was very clean and well-kept. The staff are really super friendly. However, you have to know that there are no shopping facilities on the site or in the immediate vicinity. And with a bike it is quite difficult in the Sauerland.
Unfortunately, at night you can hear the noise from the main road and from a concrete factory or something.
Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the place as a starting point for great hikes and excursions. There is no store or bread service, if you want fresh bread you have to drive to Brilon (about 3 km). At the beginning of October the site was not very full, so there were plenty of showers, toilets and washing-up areas; I'm not sure what it looks like when the site is full. The pitches are separated by hedges and are very large. There are... different categories/sizes. The whole site is terraced, so all pitches have a good view. I find it inappropriate in 2020 that you still have to pay for WiFi; this should actually be standard today. Probably because of Corona, no bread roll service was offered; you realize that you are a bit outside and can't just go to the bakery.

The late arrival was no problem at all, the documents placed under the doormat were very well prepared. We were able to go straight to our pitch. The pitch was... equipped with everything we needed and the campsite made a very well-kept impression, as did the sanitary facilities and the reception. The owner was very friendly. Zielke K.October 2019PositiveBeautiful panoramic location and central to Brilon and Willingen / WinterbergNegativNoise from the road leading to BrilonCamping with a Dutch feeling in the HochsauerlandThe Brilon camping and vacation park is located southeast of Brilon on a slope and offers a wonderful view of Brilon with its pitches on various terraces. The pitch 20 we used was very large, other pitches in the row were smaller. The pitch itself was a little uneven, but not gravelled (which made the... pegs happy). Electricity and satellite TV were available on the pitch, water was available from a central tap in the row. The sanitary block was always spotlessly clean (apart from a few caterpillars crawling around on the floor), but could be a bit small when the pitch was full. There was a toilet trailer next to the sanitary building, but it was already closed. There were no waiting times for us. Showers are included in the pitch price, as is up to 4 kilowatts of electricity. Wi-Fi access costs 6 euros for 2 devices for 3 days. The bread roll service from the local Brilon bakery works well and the rolls were delicious. When booking, the pitch price is to be paid in advance in two installments, on arrival then the W-LAN and on departure then still the rolls and possibly electricity in case of additional consumption. Various chalets are available to rent on the higher terraces. The fact that the site is run by a Dutch couple can be seen in the sanitary building, in all the signage and in the furnishings. The road running past the site causes some noise when rush-hour traffic starts. However, the site is quiet in the evening.Automatisk oversat.

The reservation worked perfectly. The pitches for caravans are huge and well prepared. There were some problems with the electrics, which were sorted out by a grumpy gentleman. The only sanitary building has two men's toilets, which... were not enough given the clear occupancy of the site. There are several rental containers on the site, but at first glance they are not recognizable as guest toilets. The only luxury is the bread roll delivery service. For larger groups, it is certainly worth making the trip to the village, where the bread rolls cost half the price. The Dutch site management should know what campers want.Automatisk oversat.

Plots nice and big. Very beautiful landscape suitable for walking jogging cycling etc. Were there from 24.12.17 to 1.1.18. We even had some snow which made the landscape even more idyllic. We also had no problems with our big dog. We didn't have to walk far to go for a walk, which was really great for our scaredy-cat on New Year's Eve.
