- A. K.July 2024PositiveThe campsite has potential that is not being used.NegativExtremely long distances to the most important destinations on the site, staff was annoyed by specific questions, entire site almost without shade, sanitary facilities only half usable and dirty in the morning hoursMore appearance than realityNot again, we had booked three nights and left after one nightAutomatisk oversat.

- Rudi H.May 2022PositiveSpace is huge with lots of treesNegativCould not find anythingGreat place near Rome surrounded by greeneryWe were here for a few days at the beginning of June.
Who builds such a huge place and will it ever be full?
Unfortunately, the pools were not yet in use.
However, we were informed of this on arrival.
The pitches are very large and you are sometimes completely on your own. The public transport connections... to Rome are simple and uncomplicated. You can be at the sea in about 10 minutes by bike. Ideal for visiting Rome and staying a few days. We liked it very muchAutomatisk oversat. - Gilbert F.August 2021PositiveChild-friendly, enough space, good value for money, absolutely recommendable....NegativDue to the small number of visitors, not every toilet block is open.Super campsiteSuper campsite.
Very spacious campsite with pool, market and restaurant. We were here in August and had more than enough pitches to choose from. There is a shuttle bus directly to the suburban train to Rome. Couldn't find a reason why the site was so uncrowded. More than recommendable with children.... In the evenings there is a children's disco at the restaurant and the playground also gives parents a little break. Five out of five stars. Top value for money too...Automatisk oversat. - Arne O.August 2019Positivegreat pool area, super locationHuge empty space with a great pool area. The site was opened in 2017 and has well over 750 pitches in the middle of a pine forest. The pitches are huge and there are plenty of sanitary blocks, which are easily accessible from every pitch. Water can only be collected from the sanitary blocks. The site was not very busy when we were there in... August 2019. There were about 10 other campers on this huge site. We were therefore able to choose not just one pitch but an entire street. In the evening it was wonderfully quiet and atmospheric when you're all on your own. I felt really sorry for the children's entertainment at times when I saw 3 entertainers with 2 children at the children's disco. The campsite has everything you need. A supermarket with a meat and bread counter, and a restaurant. There is a shuttle service (€2 per person and journey) that takes you to a nearby metro station and picks you up again. The metro takes you to Rome within 45 minutes. The staff at reception are super friendly. I was missing brochures and city maps of Rome and its sights. Otherwise, I would gladly stay again anytime. A great place to combine relaxation with sightseeing and culture.Automatisk oversat.
- Hendrik J.July 2019Positivegood starting point for sightseeing in RomeNegativnoneHuge little frequented top placeThe campsite probably has about 3000 pitches, of which only about 50 are occupied in the high season, so there is plenty of space. There is a very nice pool area, but unfortunately it closes at 7pm. The staff are super friendly and helpful but a bit clumsy when checking in and out. A cheap shuttle bus... takes you to the nearest metro station and you can be in the center of Rome in just over half an hour. All in all, a highly recommended, inexpensive pitch with excellent sanitary facilities.Automatisk oversat.
- Paul S.April 2019PositiveThe place is SAFE - it is guarded!!!NegativThe long way to the train station, the beach and the excavation sites. Be sure to take a bike or scooter with you!!!Great, but...The staff are very friendly. Huge complex with few people. Everything totally clean. The restaurant is good, but with little choice. The supermarket, when it is open in the low season, is functional but has hardly any goods. The worst thing is the walk to the train station (1.9 kilometers). There is... a shuttle bus from the campsite, but without it you have to walk, walk, walk... . Also to the shops (about 1 kilometer). A street prostitute is also only about 1 kilometer away. But the girls leave you in peace (least of all me), you just see the "punters" driving around. A matter of taste...Automatisk oversat.
- Maranda S.October 2018Positivenew campsite with modern and clean (sanitary) facilities; great poolNegativfar outside the city center, long journey by bus and trainNew, huge square with vanishingly few visitorsThe site is quite far outside the city but convenient to the airport and is still open in October.Automatisk oversat.
- Ulf D.September 2018PositivePool, Restaurantbeautiful pool area and good restaurantVery large year-round site with large pitches, mostly well shaded by tall trees; very nice and large pool area with sun loungers and bar; good restaurant on the site; friendly staff everywhere; very good sanitary facilities with individual cabins; many rental tents and bungalows; electrically fused with 16 A; good starting point for visiting Ostia Antica;Automatisk oversat.
- Claus P.August 2018PositiveHuge pitches - clean and nice.NegativThe area around the campsite is very rustic. So much space, so few people, madness...Yes, it wasn't that easy to find, but what we found was really out of this world. A campsite the size of an airport and then maybe 50 guests - really no garbage - I've never seen anything like it anywhere else in the main season, let alone in Ferragosta. The areas are easy to get around on foot with... some effort, easy to get around by bike and best of all by car. The store has the essentials, the staff is very helpful, the pool area is large, as is the rest. There is a bus stop in front of the campsite - bus travel in this region of Rome is an adventure of a special kind. The area around the campsite can be described as not designed for tourism. There is a store in the N/W about 1 km up the road. I would not leave the car outside at night, during the day it is like the rest of Rome.Automatisk oversat.
- Erik W.September 2017PositiveAll new ;_)NegativOne hour airplanes on SundaysNew campsite, good for trips to RomeNew campsite, therefore great sanitary facilities and a great pool area! Perfect for excursions to Rome! With the public or the motorized 2 bike (24 km to the Colusseum) in no time in the city! A bit noisy on Sundays due to flight path otherwise very quiet! Restaurants and shopping facilities around the corner.Automatisk oversat.
- Ulli S.September 2017Positivenew nice clean placeNegativNo restaurant & mini market in approx. 2km, shopping/cooking necessary, you should be mobile at least for 2-3 km to Ostia AnticaNo restaurant, no mini market, no sunbeds at the pool, sanitary new and cleanStaff at check-in very friendly, free choice of pitches in the area around the swimming pool (the rest of the pitch is empty), there were always around 20 campers there, so no crowds, sanitary facilities new and clean. There is no restaurant nearby. Also, the Italian meal times from 19:30 or 20:00 are... a bit late for us for dinner. No mini-mart on site, but there are medium-sized baguettes at the pool bar for € 2 each. The nearest supermarket is in the next village, so from the pitch to the entrance about 1 km and then along the cycle path for about 1.5 km. A bicycle/scooter/car is of course recommended. If you are not mobile, the site is probably unsuitable for you. The road next to it is easy to hear (especially the emergency vehicles), but doesn't bother us too much.Automatisk oversat.
