From the moment you arrive, you receive a friendly welcome - the entire team is incredibly warm, helpful and professional.
The grounds are well maintained... and the sanitary facilities are modern, clean and spacious. The tranquillity of the park is particularly positive - perfect for switching off and relaxing. The pitches are large, well thought out and beautifully embedded in nature.
The site is ideal for families, couples and dog owners - there are many great walking and cycling trails in the area, a swimming lake nearby and numerous excursion options. Children will also get their money's worth, the playground is great!
We will definitely be back and can recommend Campingpark Heidewald without reservation. Rüdi B.april 2025PositiveVery tidy and well-kept site on the outskirts of Sassenberg. Many things (Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, bakery, ....) can be reached in minutes. A good pizzeria is right on the square. You should reserve a table! Here you can also take your food away. The pitches are in top condition, spacious and well laid out.

Beautifully laid out pitches that give you the feeling of being in a park! The private bathrooms on the pitch are really great, small, nice and everything you need.
We were able to upgrade without any problems and were the first on a new pitch.
Whether boss, manager, gardener or cleaning staff, everyone was super friendly and courteous!!! These... seem to be quite new and are therefore in top condition. A minor shortcoming (if any) is the washing-up facilities. And the attention to the small details, starting with the reservation signs and small planters everywhere. Relatively large and many motorhome pitches. The toilets are modern and clean. The restaurant is less than a 10-minute walk away [also Croatian cuisine]. The pizzeria has good prices, but we didn't try it. If you love nature, you can go for a lovely walk around the lake. You can walk to Sassenberg in about 30 minutes.
