- Florian K.October 2024PositiveSanitary facilities Pitch supply with waste water, electricity and fresh water The price Proximity to the city centerNegativRather muddy in bad weather, although the pitches are graveled. Hameln tends to be quiet and not very busy in the fall, which you have to like if you're traveling with children.Great placeAs a newcomer to camping, I can't quite understand the previous reviews. I suspect that the previous reviews are more due to the longer period of 2 years that has passed and the site has really caught up in this time.
The sanitary facilities are well maintained and completely modernized.
The couple who run the site are friendly, understanding and always strive to please their guests. The site looks tidy and clean and is highly recommended.Automatisk oversat. - O.October 2024PositiveModern sanitary building Very friendly operator couple Distance to the old town approx. 1 km on foot Direct location on the WeserNegativPitches perhaps a little tight with awningGood CP in city location - but quiet and directly on the riverWe can't understand the negative comments here. The site is tidy and clean. The operators are polite and courteous.
The proximity to the old town is ideal. There is a quiet residential area around the campsite.
You can hear the road on the opposite bank of the Weser, but it's not too loud.
We liked it and will definitely be back again.Automatisk oversat. - Sven F.May 2024PositiveLocation, sanitary facilities, friendliness, price/performance ratioNegativNotGreat campsite for a short tripA beautiful small campsite directly on the Weser and in the central vicinity of Hameln, the Pied Piper town.
Arrival and check-in were easy. The pitches are small but big enough for a longer weekend. The pitch we booked had its own electricity and water/waste water supply. The highlight of the site... are the sanitary facilities. Wow, they were great and always clean.
The old town of Hameln is within walking distance (20 minutes) of the campsite. The site is also the ideal starting point for exploring the Weserbergland. We liked it very much and can recommend the site without reservation. We will definitely be back :-)Automatisk oversat. - Maria C.March 2024PositiveSanitary facilities Services Electricity, water and waste water on every pitch.NegativI have nothing to sayVery nice campsiteVery nice campsite, close to the old town, the sanitary facilities are beautiful, you are always friendlyAutomatisk oversat.
- Michael G.October 2023PositiveA good campsite, short distances to the city center, restaurant on site is really great, nice staffNegativas I was only there for one night I didn't notice anything negativeVisit for one night from 14 to 15.10.2023Getting to the site is uncomplicated,
The location is beautiful, not far from Hameln city center, a comfortable 15-minute walk. The site offers everything you need for camping and overnight stays.
The sanitary facilities are very nice and well laid out and very clean.
I particularly recommend the restaurant on site, very friendly staff and good food in a very cozy atmosphere.
It was fun to spend the night there.Automatisk oversat. - Katrin W.August 2023PositiveIs really great, dog friendly- great service- with Italian restaurant- super lekka 5 starsNegativShopping facilitiesMega beautiful placeThe arrival was uncomplicated, the site is mega nicely designed. The toilet-showers are unique. Great camping kitchen! Dishwashing area very practical as well as fresh water system and gray water and toilet disposal.
Very good value for money!
Great restaurant! Good service! Very friendly!
5 starsAutomatisk oversat. - Anja B.June 2023PositiveGreat, very clean wash house Free W Lan Friendly staffNegativBread roll service on weekends onlyGreat place with a sensational wash houseWe were here for the first time. As we had booked early enough, we got our preferred spot with a view of the Weser. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated.
In our opinion, the pitches are big enough. Our 7m camper van fitted in easily and there was still enough space for a table, chairs and bikes....
The wash house is a blast, very unusual and always spotlessly clean.
The W LAN is free of charge and has really good reception.
It's a shame that there is only a bread roll service at the weekend.
The restaurant on site is highly recommended.
We really liked it and we can't understand the grumbles of some of the campsite visitors.
We will definitely be back.Automatisk oversat. - Anja S.April 2023PositiveClose to the town of Hameln, good sanitary facilitiesNegativVery small pitches!Short vacationWe stayed at this "pitch" for a long weekend. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated and we were able to drive to our reserved pitch on arrival. Payment was made in cash. The size was sufficient for our camper van. Half of the pitches are gravelled and laid out with grass and have a supply column... with electricity, water and waste water. We found this very convenient. In our opinion, the pitches are too small for larger caravans with awnings and cars! There is a bread roll service and the "Micasa" restaurant is recommended. The sanitary facilities are very clean. There is the possibility to wash the dishes outside or in the sanitary building. The campsite is about 1km from the old town and the supermarkets. We chose this campsite to explore the Pied Piper town of Hameln and the surrounding area, including on the Weser cycle path.Automatisk oversat.
- Isabella D.August 2022PositiveThe campsite is right on the Weser, beer tent sets are available, good lighting. Sensationally beautiful sanitary and cooking area and everything is extremely clean. Wine barrels are also available, but must be booked early. Super nice boss and staff. Beautiful flower arrangements, everything very well maintained and run with love.NegativThat our vacation days went by so quickly...Great campsite with exceptional sanitary facilities and kitchenWe don't understand the negative reviews here.
The complainers should rather stay at home...
We have never seen such a luxurious campsite...
For us a 5 star place.Automatisk oversat. - Hendrik S.June 2022Positivethe city center of Hameln, the sanitary buildingNegativThe overall impression of the square is that time has stood still herefar too expensive, level 5-We were there in mid-June 2022. Arrival: Please pay for your overnight stay in cash immediately.
The pitch: wild fuse boxes everywhere, cables have to be laid criss-cross across the paths. No water at the pitch. Must be fetched with a canister. Our pitch was very small. (that for 36,50€/night). No bread... service at our time. Restaurant supposedly closed due to lack of staff. Positive: The sanitary building. Chic and always clean. But you don't sit on the toilet all day...
We will not visit this place again and will not recommend it to others!!!Automatisk oversat. - Renate G.October 2021Positivethe proximity to Hamelin; the unproblematic reservation and check-in; clean sanitary facilities Pitch with a view of the WeserNegativthe reception area is not inviting; the parking spaces are quite small Overall parking lot character Reception and sanitary facilities only accessible via stairsA somewhat desolate city campsiteThe driveway doesn't make an inviting impression, it's rather pragmatic. Some things could be designed more beautifully. The same goes for the parking spaces, which are more reminiscent of parking lots. The only thing that prevents you from seeing the misery is the view of the Weser. We are here in the... fall and I couldn't imagine sitting comfortably (!) in front of the caravan.
The sanitary facilities are inviting and clean, you can even disinfect the toilet seats.
However, the reception and sanitary facilities are only accessible via a flight of stairs.
The proximity to the old town is of course unbeatable, it's a shame that more wasn't made of it. We can recommend the site for sightseeing in Hamelin, nothing more.Automatisk oversat. - Peter M.July 2020PositiveCentrally located to the city. Sanitary facilities very good and clean.NegativPlace rather intended for Womos. Pitches very small.Sanitary facilities very good. Pitches smallGood for a city trip. Close to the Weser. Canoe landing stage directly at the site. Boring for children.Automatisk oversat.
- Sabine G.July 2020Positivewithin walking distance of Hameln - 10 minutes to the city centerNegativVery small pitches - you might think they are only suitable for motorhomesProximity to the cityUnfortunately, I only liked the Sani-Haus. I didn't like the pitch itself at all. No carpeting allowed in the awning - the great lawn would suffer as a result. The lawn itself was not great.
We were only there for a few days, but would not recommend this site to anyone.
Very expensive.Automatisk oversat. - Werner S.June 2020PositiveTasteful design of the sanitary area. Located directly on the Weser with good access to the old town.NegativPrices out of this world. An overnight stay with three small children costs a whopping 59 euros. Small pitches. Unkempt site design.Brazen rip-offArtistically designed sanitary facilities may certainly be pleasing to look at. However, they cannot hide the fact that the entire facility is unkempt and the pitches are simply too small.Automatisk oversat.
- Heike S.June 2020PositiveThe wash house... You can also get to Hameln quickly on footNegativThe pitches are terribly too small with caravans no foil was allowed in the tent the CP is not accessible when it rains The price is too highCity campsiteWe will no longer travel to this place, unfortunately it has more disadvantages than advantagesAutomatisk oversat.
- Till F. B.May 2020PositiveClose to the city. Electricity and water within "reach", almost level pitchNegativSaturday afternoon hedge trimming with a lot of noise, dusty access road to the pitch,Practical. The site is more of a well-equipped camper van site. Without great charm.
Pragmatic reception.
We were there during Corona times, the sanitary facilities were closed.
You can cycle to the city center in under 10 minutes.Automatisk oversat. - Rüdiger H.September 2019PositiveClose to the city, very good sanitary facilities included in the priceNegativToo few power boxes, campers' power cables across the access roads, electricity too expensiveUnfortunately, only the sanitary facilities are very appealing, the rest... well...We were there to see the town of Hameln, and the site is well suited for that. The sanitary facilities are very clean and built with love, there's nothing to complain about here and you can see what's possible. But unfortunately that was it. Plots of sufficient size with pitch character, no separation,... neighbor view guaranteed. View of the Weser from the second row only very limited. Too few electricity boxes and the campers' cables are more or less covered over the access roads, so the electricity price of 3.50 is probably exaggerated. The entrance area also seemed a bit bleak to us, but maybe something will change, the sanitary area shows it... By bike in less than 10 minutes to the old town, which has a lot to offer for a day. Lack of no card payment and wifi very weak, hardly usable.Automatisk oversat.
- Wolfgang L.May 2019PositiveLocation close to the city, friendly staff, clean sanitary facilitiesNegativToo few water taps and electricity boxes, poor WLAN, no card payment possible! There is still a lot to do!Very friendly staff, well-maintained sanitary facilities, although the water pressure is often a little weak. Bread roll service. Beautiful location on the Weser, although the main road opposite can of course be heard, although not disturbing. Too few water taps on the pitch, as well as electricity boxes,... so that the cables often have to be laid across the paths. Some of the covers are very worn. The WLAN is very unstable, often no access at all when the pitch is full. What doesn't work at all: No card payment!Automatisk oversat.
- Ralf B.May 2019PositiveLocation, sanitary, price for womostellplatzNegativNoneGood city campsiteWe were on the womostellplatz. Great view of the Weser, low price. Close to the town, nice restaurant. The site is ideal for a short break.Automatisk oversat.
- Margit T.May 2019PositiveClose to the city center, very clean sanitary facilities, bread roll serviceNegativnone!Great, very well-kept sanitary areaWe came to Hameln for sightseeing, and this place is ideal for that. But it's also ideal for cycling or hiking tours around Hameln. The sanitary area is just great! Clean and very nice! The bread roll service also works wonderfully, even on Sundays. The operators are very friendly. The site itself is average: the pitches are normal in size and there is also a small playground area. All in all, we (a couple) can definitely recommend the site!Automatisk oversat.
