What is otherwise described as quiet on the campsite is the emptiness, apart from a handful of permanent campers, the campsite is empty. These do not have to adhere to the rest periods and... driving bans during the lunch break.
The campsite can be described as desolate, lonely, boring and unsuitable for families.
There is no playground, no pool, no shopping facilities and no restaurant at the campsite. Everything is at least half a kilometer away.
The sanitary facilities are partially defective and the washing-up area is an imposition.

We regret that you apparently didn't like it at our campsite and would have liked you to have informed us directly about any damage you apparently noticed, we always take care of things immediately!
Our campsite... is a small family business on the outskirts of Mönchberg. It is not located on a main road, as you described, but on the edge of a residential area on Campingstrasse. A country road runs behind the campsite, which is of course occasionally used by motorcyclists.
We attach particular importance to cleanliness and hygiene in the sanitary facilities. Long before Corona, we installed additional disinfectant dispensers in our washrooms and our washrooms are regularly cleaned and maintained. We are therefore unable to explain why some of the sanitary facilities are defective. At this point we would like to ask you again to inform us immediately if you notice any damage.
As our campsite does not have a barrier, we rely on our guests to observe the midday rest period on their own initiative. Parking in front of the campsite is free of charge. In order to keep traffic on the site as low as possible, we charge a fee for parking on the pitch.
As far as shopping facilities, restaurants and leisure activities in the surrounding area are concerned, you will find a local map with lots of information about Mönchberg at the registration desk:

It's a pity that you found our site boring and desolate. We had booked all five cottages with breakfast. The whole family was very happy with the facilities. The generous breakfast in particular was excellent! We lacked for nothing. So it was rather functional. However, I can recommend the campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing time, with excursions into the countryside and to the very beautiful places in the surrounding area. - Daniel G.september 2016Positive-located centrally in the village -very friendly -very clean and modern bathroom and toilets -pleasant ambience due to attention to detailSuper friendly campsite and beautiful areaWe were in Mönchberg for the first time and are now very enthusiastic! The actual reason was a wedding in the "Alter Obstkeller". And as the campsite was just 100m away, it was clear that we would go there. We agreed with Mrs. Heiter (campsite owner) by e-mail that it could be a little later (after 8pm).... But no problem, even at 20:30 Mrs. Heiter was still there waiting for us. We were greeted in a very friendly manner even though it was already so late! Really great service! She briefly explained where everything was and what was available and we were able to start camping :-) The next morning we saw how beautiful the site actually is (see pictures). Lots of attention to detail, no matter where you are on the site. The washrooms are 1A. They may look old at first glance, but that doesn't change the fact that modern showers, toilets and washbasins are installed. And best of all, everything is tip-top clean. Great respect! The village is also a lovely spot, and the residents are all friendly and helpful. There is a playground at the nearby outdoor pool. So everything you need is also available in summer. The "Main" is about 7km away. We will be back and are already looking forward to it. Many THANKS again to the Heiter family for the short but nice stayAutomatisk oversat.

For us that was ok.Small, idyllic campsite between Frankfurt and WürzburgWe came across this campsite by chance and spent a weekend here in August. The pitches are comparatively large and nicely laid out so that you have your privacy. We rented a camping cottage, which was perfect for us. The campsite is an insider tip if you are looking for peace and relaxation. It's also... nice for the children, surrounded by greenery. The nearby swimming pool is great and there is also a café, restaurants and shopping facilities (supermarket, bakery, butcher etc.). We will definitely be back!Automatisk oversat.
