- Sonni P.June 2024PositiveThe peace and quiet and the connection to BremerhavenNegativWe can't think of anythingA great stayWe only had a short stay here. But we didn't regret it for a moment.
The site is in a quiet location right on the lake.
The operators are friendly and the sanitary facilities are not new but good and sufficient.
There is a café by the lake, a nice playground and a football pitch.
Seating and a barbecue... are available on the camping meadow.
We can't understand why there is so little going on here.
There is endless space here.
In the village (about 1.5 km) is a netto and a gas station for the bread rolls in the morning.
Also a train station with connections to cux/ HB or Bremerhaven as well as direction bux or Bremervörde is easy to reach.
There are great cycling and hiking trails here.
It is definitely worth itAutomatisk oversat. - Manni P.August 2022PositiveGreat sanitary building. Outside washbasin, toilet disposal.NegativWe were on the whole site with 2 camper vans. Not for anyone who doesn't like that.Well suited for groupsThe campsite is a large meadow without pitches. Clean shower and toilet block. The operators make an effort to keep everything clean. Lawn was mowed and we could choose the pitch with electricity. An insider tip for a short break. Great lake and playground. Large soccer, beach volleyball and basketball court.Automatisk oversat.
- Sascha A.July 2022PositiveSimple, uncomplicated, affordableNegativSometimes registration can only be completed in the evening. In this case, access to the sanitary building is only granted late.Campsite without frillsWe stayed at the campsite twice for one night each while passing through. It's suitable for that. For a longer stay, however, we would look for a different site because apart from the lake there is nothing - absolutely nothing.Automatisk oversat.
- Gerhard W.June 2022PositiveThe pitch is very large and you can choose the pitch yourself. The sanitary facilities are new and clean inside. There are plenty of beautiful cycle paths in the surrounding area.NegativThe ground is a little uneven and the grass is cut a little too roughly.Simple and goodWe spent 3 wonderful days here. Enjoyed some good quality bike rides to Hainmühlen, Beverstedt, Bremerhaven, Spadener See, Geestenseth. Visited the golf courses in Hainmühlen and Bremerhaven, where you can always enjoy a good beer and a snack. Golfing too, of course. Plenty of restaurants in Beverstedt. Any time again.Automatisk oversat.
- Manni P.August 2021PositiveThe shower house - although from the 80s - is very clean and has been repainted. You can choose your own pitch. Nice operator.NegativNot all electricity boxes have been converted yet.Very quiet CP in the countrysideIt is a great campsite that has been privately run since April 2021. The operator is open to suggestions. Suitable for large groups as there are no pitches.Automatisk oversat.
- back_to_the_tent I.July 2021Positivevery friendly. pure relaxationNegativstill needs some care.Spontaneous short textBack at the campsite after 30 years. I was able to show my daughter where I spent my summer vacations as a small child. She really enjoyed it and it certainly wasn't the last time we were there. It was a very nice weekendAutomatisk oversat.
- Andreas G.July 2021PositiveGreat alternative to the coastNegativWe didn't notice anything.Unexpected camping highlightA very beautifully situated site. The actual campsite consists of a huge unparceled meadow with plenty of space. The sanitary facilities are modern and newly renovated.
There are lots of play facilities for children of all ages (soccer pitch, table tennis, mini golf, large playground, etc.).
And the best thing is the beautiful natural swimming lake. Dreamlike!Automatisk oversat. - Marita K.August 2020PositiveYou can stand wherever you like, as there are some shady spots. The shower house was not open due to Corona 2020, but the toilet house by the lake was. We had a camper van with us and were self-sufficient.NegativUnfortunately, the shower house was closed.Natural site, no permanent campers, no parcel divisionNice reception and also good "support". We were helped straight away with any questions. The site is also open in winter, but you have to ask if the toilet is open. We booked for Christmas/New Year.Automatisk oversat.
- Tina K.May 2020PositiveGreat weather and great people. The campsite has reopened after 6 years.NegativUnfortunately, the lake was closed until 16.07.20 due to Corona.Great pitch also for campingThe CP is very well located
