Pitches are located in the front part of the site, in a very quiet location... on the Werra. A bridge leads to the permanent pitches, tent area, shepherd's caravan and the lido with snack bar, mini golf course and separate sanitary facilities. The front sanitary area is super clean. Disposal facilities for motorhomes in front of the site for a fee, as well as free parking. There is nothing missing, as there are volleyball courts, a table tennis table and a mini golf course.Negativ- Lack of friendliness - No respect for young people - Due to the protected area by the waters, cars are not allowed to stay at the campsite - Snack bar was closedDespite great facilities, lack of friendlinessWe really liked the campsite, as it is in a quiet location and lacks nothing. However, as guests we were treated in a totally unfriendly manner and from the beginning of our stay, as a youth group, we had the feeling that we were not wanted. There was no respect for young people, despite our efforts... to come to terms with the situation. Because of this, we unfortunately left early of our own accord. The site is divided in two by the Werra river, so the short-term campers are separated from the permanent campers. Checking in was very friendly and smooth, the sanitary facilities were also ok and the site was just right for our purposes. However,... the site was less inviting or appealing to spend a longer stay here. The electricity boxes are locked so that when you leave you have to wait for the friendly staff member to "release" you again, plus the entrances to the pitches are quite narrow and there is not enough space to pull out properly with a trailer. But none of this is really a problem. Bungalows and shepherd's caravans for rent. The site is located... directly on the Werra and a gravel lake with a beautiful beach. Adjacent to the site is the cultural center and a sports facility. The welcome at the reception was pleasantly informal and extremely friendly. We were given a nice quiet spot for our two touring tents. We were even able to pre-order breakfast (sandwiches and coffee) for the next morning.... The coffee came freshly brewed from the pot in a ceramic cup, NOT a paper or plastic cup. - Thanks again for that. The swimming lake is great, clean and safe. There were always 2 lifeguards supervising. The snack bar at the lake was also absolutely ok for an evening snack. But the evening mini-golf round on the course was absolute class. Clean, well-kept, modern - it was great fun. The sanitary facilities are first class - I have never found them so clean and modern on any other campsite. We'll be stopping here again on our next motorcycle tour.Automatisk oversat.

Zelter X.August 2013This campsite has been in existence since 2008, so everything is up to date. The site is clean, conveniently located, very attractive with mini golf and a gravel lake, and the staff are very friendly. It is quiet and informal and there is always time for a few nice words. There are a few pitches for... motorhomes and caravans in the front area by the reception. The large tent area (also accessible for caravans) with a permanent camper area can be reached via a small bridge over the Werra. Mostly flat pitches, some with a slight slope. Don't forget your hammer, the ground is rock hard! The sanitary facilities are in perfect order and very spacious. The gravel lake has a shallow sandy beach and is also suitable for small children. Lots of day visitors on nice summer days, which liven up the campsite considerably. There is a small kiosk on the beach where you can buy currywurst and chips. Dogs are not allowed.Automatisk oversat.- Iris V.September 2012This place is a real tip. Equipped with its own swimming lake (gravel lake), it is simply great for summer days. The campsite is separated by a bridge so that there is a front and a rear part that can be used (the front part is close to the heated sanitary building and the rear part is close to the campsite's... own mini-golf course, swimming lake, playground, snack bar and an unheated sanitary building for bathers). The operators of the campsite are super friendly and almost everything is made possible or tolerated. One example is that friends with children visited us every day (free of charge) and we were even allowed to barbecue on the pitch with charcoal. There is a well-equipped kitchen with two 4-burner hobs and a microwave in the sanitary building. The washing machine and dryer can be used for a reasonable price in exchange for euro coins (washing machine for approx. 1.50 EUR, dryer approx. 2 EUR, depending on the program). There are many excursion possibilities from this location. E-bikes are also available for hire from this low season. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails. In the NS there are no bread rolls on site or other bread roll service, but there are shopping facilities approx. 1 km from the campsite (Edeka, Norma and Netto). The local restaurants are all recommended (inexpensive and good). Wireless-Lan will soon be possible on the CP. Payment currently only possible in cash.Automatisk oversat.

The modern and clean sanitary facilities are worth mentioning, and it is also impressive how the good soul of the site (Bärbel) takes care of all needs with passion and commitment.
