- Stefan K.September 2024Positive- good location as a transit point on the journey to the south - Reasonable price/performance (€ 35.50 WOWA 2P) - Clean sanitary facilities - Place relatively quiet at night.Negativ- Fixed showers - Washrooms locked after 22.00 - Very unconventional power supply and billingBeautiful placeWe were on our way from DK to southern Germany. On the way we called briefly and immediately got a confirmation from the friendly operator. The stay was good for us and one night. But we wouldn't want to stay here any longer. But that is a very subjective feeling. Triggered by the sanitary facilities,... which were very clean but had the charm of a 70s barracks. The handling of the power supply was also somewhat strange. You are not "allowed" to plug in yourself here, each pitch has its own meter but there was no billing. Would we come back again? Perhaps.Automatisk oversat.
- Peter G.September 2024PositiveBeautiful location, very quiet.NegativStrange billing practiceNice place with strange billing. We wanted a parking space offered to us for less than €20, but were charged €35.50. The amount of electricity consumption was also strange, it should have been 18.5 KWH in 24 hours, we don't even need half of that in our house.Automatisk oversat.
- Regine N.June 2024PositiveQuiet location Directly on the river Dense green lawns on all pitches Starting point for all cycling toursNegativNo shopping facilities on the squareMy ratingIt is a totally quiet and beautiful nature campsite, directly on the river Aller, with very nice and friendly operators. The site itself is very well maintained, as are the sanitary facilities. For cyclists it is an Eldorado, the flat Lüneburg Heath and a perfect network of cycle paths. Starting point... to Celle, Gifhorn (Mühlen Museum) and many other tours. Unfortunately our time was limited. But we would love to come back.
Thank you for the pleasant stay

We were traveling with a tent and had a fantastic place of our choice. Thank you for the wonderful time 👍keep up the good work, we'd love to come back 🌻NegativNo disadvantages, everything was right.Super nice campsite 🏕️!!!Highly recommended. Very clean and idyllic. - Cornelia M.May 2024PositiveNothingNegativSee commentShort stayVery unfriendly older lady - service, aggressive answers. ASCI CARD not recognized, we received the accusation that the Asci card was photographed by us, but it was a chip card and not a paper printout, had to discuss first, always spoken against it and if he doesn't like it, they can go somewhere else.... Unclear bill, no electricity consumption listed or beginning and end of consumption, no details - only total amount. We visited the place 4 times a year, they knew us, but not anymore. - Annett U.September 2023PositiveThe welcome was very warm. Large flat pitches. Close to townNegativAll good! Our impressions at Camping AllerblickClear rules. The choice of pitches is large. Pitches spacious and relatively level. Supply and disposal centrally at the sanitary building, which was always very clean. The operator really has an open ear for problems.Automatisk oversat.
- Gerd F.May 2023PositiveFriendly staff, direct pitches on the Aller, clean sanitary facilities, very quiet and idyllic, nice guests, cozy, covered beer garden, delicious foodNegativThe price for a dog on the camping field is too high.Everything at its finestSee above! The only thing we think could be improved is the price for a dog on the camping field!Automatisk oversat.
- Bert S.August 2022PositiveSpacious pitches, sanitary facilities with showers, dishwashers and washing machines with plenty of space and clean facilities. WC cassette can be cleaned in the vending machine or at the normal outlet. Kiosk and restaurant (open in the evening) available on site. Town center with many shops, some gastronomy and shopping within walking distance in a few minutes.Negativnot specifiedbeautiful place, supply everything thereNice staff, beautiful site, everything you need around the motorhome available. The sanitary facilities are always open with double WC facilities and are kept very cleanAutomatisk oversat.
- S W.August 2022PositiveClose to nature, directly on the Aller, cleanNegativUnfriendly owners, poor food and long waiting timesUnfriendly, bad foodWe stayed here with friends over the weekend. The restaurant makes a rustic but cozy first impression. When we saw the waitress, we should have been warned. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food, 30 minutes was announced to us by the unkempt looking waitress. We haven't eaten so badly for a long time. Ready-made... schnitzel with ready-made sauce, the currywurst looked like it had been heated 5 times.
But the absolute minus point came from the owner himself. When we were still sitting together in the evening with quiet (I emphasize it on purpose) music and normal conversation, in which we also laughed sometimes, the operator came shortly after midnight and told us in a very unfriendly tone that it was closing time now, otherwise we could leave the next morning. I would like to emphasize once again that we neither shouted nor celebrated or caused any other disturbance.
This action was unnecessary and could have been communicated in a friendlier way, especially as it was the first request on his part.
We would definitely not recommend this place!
Otherwise it is a nice, outdated campsite, but very clean. Unfortunately, this behavior completely overshadows this.Automatisk oversat. - Rolf C.February 2022PositiveWLan, locationNegativElectricity complicated and expensiveSimple campsite on the AllerSimple campsite on the Aller with permanent and seasonal campers. Tourist pitches not parceled out, no water/waste water at the pitch. Not particularly paved. Camper disposal via gully. WLan is good. Playground very simple at the sanitary building. No individual washing cubicles, the rest is simple but... clean. Electricity expensive at 70 cents kw. On arrival and departure, employees have to come and unlock the power box so that you can connect cables. Town center can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Recommend ASCI-Card then cheap.Automatisk oversat.
- Roland P.October 2021PositiveClose to the city, yet in a very quiet locationNegativNone recognizable for usEverything is fineThe well-kept, tidy-looking site and the functional facilities were always clean and in excellent condition during our 15-day stay at the end of the season in the fall. - Heike L.October 2020PositiveStores and restaurants are within walking distance. Gastronomy and small kiosk on site. Very quiet location and very clean sanitary facilities.NegativI think an extra 5 euros for a dog is too much. You need more than 20 meters of cable for the power supply.Very nice, but...The campsite is beautifully situated on the Aller. Stores are within walking distance. The site is very quiet and the sanitary facilities are certainly not the most modern, but they are super clean.Automatisk oversat.
- Wilfried W.August 2020PositiveA very clean, quiet campsite, family-run. Very nice pitches directly on the Aller. Incredibly clean sanitary facilities. Perfect for rest and relaxation as well as cycling tours in the Südheide.NegativI would like to have a water/waste water connection directly at the pitch. Unfortunately, the campers drive too fast on the pitch.A wonderful campsite for a short tripWe like the campsite very much for a vacation in between! Despite being close to the town with good shopping facilities, the site is in a quiet location. Ideal for cycling tours into the heath. The morning swim in the Aller was wonderful.Automatisk oversat.
- Jörg R.August 2020PositiveBeautiful, quiet location, opportunities for water sports and swimming in a natural body of water (with moderate current), no additional charges for shower, electricity and internet, kiosk, restaurant and other shopping facilities nearbyNegativWe had to search for the typical heathland.Beautiful campsite on the AllerA beautiful campsite on the Aller: There are pitches in the "Heideblick" area (but without a view of a typical heath landscape), where many permanent campers are located, and "Allerwiesen" (directly on the Aller) with a beautiful, albeit unguarded, small bathing beach. In our opinion, the latter pitches... are preferable in terms of landscape if there are free pitches available. The extremely friendly and helpful campsite management, sanitary facilities, kiosk and restaurant were all within easy reach. Shopping facilities are within easy walking distance in the town center of Winsen. However, we only found a typical heath landscape in Mellendorf (approx. 8 km from Winsen/Aller). At the point where the main road turns left and is well signposted to the Hüttensee park (with a beautiful circular hiking trail around the Hüttensee), you have to turn right (there is an easily overlooked sign for "Heidefläche"). You will then pass the cemetery and come to a parking lot for hikers. From there, after a few minutes, you come to a beautiful, typical heath landscape. If you walk further around a former British firing range, you can see other smaller typical heathland areas. Celle, about 12 km away, is also worth a visit with its historic town center and a very beautiful park. We were never bored during the 14 days of our camping stay and would stay at this campsite again with our motorhome at any timeAutomatisk oversat.

- Thomas K.August 2020PositiveFriendly staff, quiet, relaxed atmosphere, park-like design, large pitches, shade possible, no barrier, bread roll service, sufficient, always available, freely accessible sanitary facilities, electricity connection with meter, kiosk/snack bar/restaurant on site, urban infrastructure nearby, good bathing and swimming opportunities, small sandy beach with sunbathing area, suitable for boat campers, low flat rates, good WLAN, good mobile phone network, good DVB-T2 receptionNegativSome washbasins still have the old two-handle taps, which make it difficult to set the desired water temperature and waste a lot of water unnecessarily. Although the showers have a preset, pleasant temperature, they do not offer the option of taking a cold shower when it is very hot.Nice, quiet place with good facilities in a good locationBecause of the overcrowded vacation regions in the north, I chose this campsite and found a pitch for my caravan here at short notice.
My telephone inquiry was answered in a very friendly manner and I received competent answers to all my questions.
I was also able to choose a pitch that was convenient... for me from the fairly large pitches that were still available (150 m²!), and I was given good advice on where there were trees to provide shade.
The site has no barrier, the usual midday quiet applies from 1 to 3 pm and you can arrive between 12 and 1 pm and from 3 pm.
I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful, park-like campsite and the fact that there were still free pitches despite its manageable size, and I have nothing but good things to say:
Nice staff, fresh bread rolls from the bakery if ordered in advance (large wheat rolls 40 ct.), 2 centrally located sanitary buildings right next to each other with clean, always available sanitary facilities without cumbersome key access.
The site is divided into the park area, the Allerwiese meadow, ideal for boat campers, and the tent meadow. There is a dog area on the Allerwiese.
The pitches are numbered and marked with chalk lines, making it easier to maneuver with a caravan than on plots with hedges.
There are plenty of electricity connection boxes (with meters) and water taps.
Reception and kiosk/snack bar/restaurant are located in a central building.
Shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés/ice cream parlors are available in the nearby town center.
In summer, the Aller is a gently flowing, fairly shallow river with pleasantly fresh, clear water and good bathing opportunities at a sandy bay. If you go further into the river, you can swim on the spot in the gentle current.
Boaters can use the existing slipway and a jetty.
All-inclusive price (incl. showers, basic electricity, partly WLAN). Payment on departure. Good concept.Automatisk oversat. - Andreas L.July 2020PositiveQuiet and everything you need is there. Sanitary facilities and showers always in clean and tidy condition.NegativWe have not discovered any disadvantages.Nice and quiet campsiteBeautiful, flat campsite directly on the Aller. Depending on the pitch you choose, you may need a very long power cable. During our visit, which lasted several days, the sanitary facilities were in clean condition. There are good shopping facilities close to the town. We had a nice and quiet pitch and enjoyed our stay of several days. Five points for the beautiful pitch and the friendly and helpful operators.Automatisk oversat.
