- Klaus-Peter A.March 2024Positivelocation close to the city friendly staffNegativsomewhat inhospitable very cramped seatsNice place for motorhomesWe are not traveling with a motorhome but with a caravan and found the site ok in terms of location, but somewhere between inhospitable and uncomfortable. The pitch is more or less completely gravelled and the motorhomes and a few caravans are close together (about 1.5-2m apart). Clearly too close for... us, even the pitch by the fence to the road where we were standing wasn't much better (traffic and pedestrians right next to the car).
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is no store, but there is a bar with a beautiful view of the Vltava and pub food.
The washrooms were just ok, but not heated in March at under 10 degrees, which is problematic.
There are no restaurants or stores in the immediate vicinity. Prague is a 10 minute walk to the streetcar or you can take the ferry across the Vltava (highly recommended, the ferry is included in the public transport ticket).
Our verdict: OK for one or two nights, but definitely not a place to feel comfortable for a longer period of time.Automatisk oversat. - Brigitte V.August 2018PositiveClose to the city, clean sanitary facilities, friendly, somewhat helpless staff.NegativPoor security, anyone can get in. Thefts are not uncommon. Not sure. Not well secured, no staff on site at night. People loitering in front of the sanitary facilities. At night, an Austrian camper van in which a couple was sleeping was opened and money, cell phones and papers were stolen. When the people woke up, the thieves ran off. The police arrived, but site staff didn't show up until the next morning. We were told that incidents like this happen often, but that nothing could be done.Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas S.July 2018PositiveVery good location in the city, nice helpful operatorsNegativIf you don't have a toilet "on board" you should stand further forward. The way from the back drags when it's crowded ;-)Good location close to the city centerThe square is located on one of the Vltava islands. The small ferry (5-10 min walk) takes you almost directly into town every 15 min. The toilet facilities are ok, but sometimes not sufficient at peak times... There is also an "emergency toilet" in the communal shower room. It was ok for us. For those... who have inhibitions... oh well. Hot water is included in the price, electricity 90 czk per day. Freshly tapped beer is available on site at reasonable prices. Small snacks too. Obviously a family business. Simple but I would go there again.Automatisk oversat.
- Jörg S.October 2017PositiveProximity to the cityNegativNoneSightseeing PragueVery well located campsite in the south of Prague. Ideal for sightseeing and relaxing. You can be in the city center in 15 minutes by bike. There is also a streetcar and bus stop about 400m away. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. However, if you have problems with communal showers (male/female are already separated), this is not the place for you. We liked the place very much.Automatisk oversat.
- Valerie W.September 2016PositiveLocation, friendly staff, clean sanitariesNegativSometimes party boats at night (15 minutes noise)Trip to PragueThe campsite is located near the city centre of Prague, so suitable for a trip there.
- Christian K.August 2016PositiveStreetcar directly in front of the entrance to the campsite, quiet, uncomplicated and inexpensive.NegativShared showers and sanitary facilities may be a little further away. (Depending on the pitch)Super city campsite!Ideal campsite for a city trip to Prague. Streetcar and bus directly in front of the entrance to the campsite. You can be in the city in 10 minutes by streetcar without changing. Thanks to its location on an island in the Vltava, it is still very quiet. In the kiosk there are bread rolls and all sorts... of things for breakfast, including breakfast eggs and also drinks including beer. (Everything super cheap!) The toilets are quite new and sufficiently clean, there is 'only' a communal shower but also sufficiently clean and warm water. I would go there again.Automatisk oversat.
- Stanislav P.August 2014PositiveGood connection to the cityConveniently located campsiteSituated on an island in the Vltava River, the campsite is ideal for sightseeing. The streetcar and bus stop is about a 10-minute walk from the campsite. There are 2 lines, one to the city center, the other to the Lesser Town. Tickets are sold at the campsite. The site is flat but offers little shade. The sanitary facilities are adequate, but the shower has no partitions. There is a restaurant and a kiosk on site. The staff were friendly.Automatisk oversat.
- Kaj B.July 2014PositiveCentral beliggenhed. Rolige omgivelser.Central Campingplads i Prag.
