- Günter S.September 2024PositiveEverything is fineNegativNo disadvantages foundVery good campsiteBeautiful CP with top offers. Cycle paths to Vienna and the Wachau. Natural swimming lake next door, various possibilities for children, absolutely always clean sanitary facilities. Dogs allowed, always friendly and helpful staff, we will definitely be backAutomatisk oversat.
- Hermann D.August 2024PositiveMany (see comment)NegativFew (see comment)Equally suitable for Vienna and WachauExcellently located campsite between Vienna and Wachau (each 35km by bike). Friendly staff everywhere. Family and dog friendly. From our point of view, less suitable for very large motorhomes. Very suitable for individual sports and fitness requirements (cycling on the Danube path, mountain biking between... Greifenstein and Wienerwald, jogging in the Aubad, inline skating or racing bikes between Tulln and Greifenstein (also 30km circuit), swimming in the Aubad, Nordic walking and hiking everywhere). A special recommendation: swimming anywhere along the Traisen! The alluvial forest projects along the Danube with hiking and canoeing opportunities are also interesting. The place is not the quietest but in our opinion quiet enough. If you are staying longer, you should check out the Lower Austria Card and the ÖBB weekly/7-day ticket. One last tip: the daily specials in the restaurant at the tennis court.Automatisk oversat.
- Alex S.July 2024PositiveClean facilities, "free" refrigeration as well as cooking possibilitiesNegativTent site is neglected, cars are allowed to park in the middle of it, no waste separation in the kitchen, tent site is placed near sanitary facilities which is good idea, but constant fan noise and lights disturb good night's sleep.Very small and neglected camp site for tentsThe area for tents is very small and has no assigned lots, so in high season it gets very busy and accordingly very noisy. Due to overuse of the small plot the grass is almost gone, so it's camping on very rough ground. Children are charged regardless of age so you will pay 11 Euro for adult, 6 Euro for child, 2.5 Euro tourist tax and 7 Euro for a tent, so 27 Euro for the night.
- Ingolf W.July 2024PositiveVery well maintained and quiet, the staff is very helpful. Vienna is not far away (good train connection) and the Aubad is a highlight.NegativNoneGreat PlTzGreat location, very clean, very quiet, good transport links to Vienna, great value for money. No supermarket on site, but outside about 10 minutes walk away. In the morning you can buy bread rolls or have breakfast on site.Automatisk oversat.
- Michael A.July 2024PositiveFriendly and dedicated reception, well-equipped sanitary facilities. Good location for the Danube cycle path, Wachau and Vienna.NegativPlot markings to the side and rear are missing. When fully occupied and arriving with a caravan, it can get very crowded.Very good location for Wachau or ViennaThe reception and service on site is very good. The pitch layout in the form of a circle (the pitch is almost like a piece of a cake) takes some getting used to and can be at the expense of privacy. Pitch markings to the side and rear are missing. The comfort pitches or the edge pitches in the "cake... segment" are therefore highly recommended when fully occupied, and the sanitary facilities are excellent. Located directly on the Danube cycle path, the site is not only ideal for cycling but also for many other sports. The facilities offered by the town of Tulln are sensational in this respect. (Aubad, skater park, BMX track, hard courts, indoor pool... and much more).Automatisk oversat.
- Harry L.April 2024PositiveGreat campsite on the outskirts of Tulln right next to the Danube cycle path! Well equipped! Great staffNegativThere could be more garbage islands distributed around the siteGreat campsiteQuiet campsite with mobile homes on the Danube cycle path! Right next to the Aubad - free entry for camping guestsAutomatisk oversat.
- Stefan B.September 2023PositiveThe place itself is beautiful.NegativOutdated and sometimes simply rotten sanitary facilities, star-shaped pitches, electricity connections only secured with 6 amps at a flat rate of 5 euros per day, rotten water house in the middle of the pitches, unfriendly staff, at least when we arrived, "tavern" is little more than a container.Loveless, old.According to the ADAC, the site is "Tipp 2023". This can only be an oversight or perhaps has to do with the fact that the site belongs to the ÖAMTC. We had chosen this place as a base for a visit to Vienna, just outside Vienna, as a quiet oasis, especially after the good internet presence and ADAC rating. We were bitterly disappointed, we could have gone to the motorhome site if it allowed caravans.Automatisk oversat.
- Dušan h.April 2023Positive- very pleasant environment - comfortable and new mobile homes - friendly staffNegativ- 0Mobilheim - Easter 2023For Easter 2023 we stayed for 4 days (2 families with children) in mobile homes at Camp Donaulpark in Tulln. We were MAXIMALLY satisfied! The weather was still cold at this time, but it was enough for trips to the surrounding area and Vienna.
Campsite: very good location, right next to the Danube cycle... path, next to the town swimming pool (it was still cold at the time of our visit). The campsite was clean, spacious with sufficiently sized sanitary facilities, with a place for sorted waste.
Mobile homes: brand new with air conditioning and heating, very nice, for a family of 4 quite ideal. We used the heating (it was plus 4 degrees C in the morning...) and the insulation of the mobilheim was excellent. Kitchen perfectly equipped, large fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, large space for eating inside and on the terrace. Possibility of a sofa bed for 2 more people. Bathroom and shower spacious and clean enough.
Staff: very helpful, we were first visitors after winter, therefore only minimal minor hitch, but everything solved immediately to maximum satisfaction.

The campsite is rightly among the 15 best campsites in Austria !
We will definitely return again and already in the summer months - for cycling. Next time bring a few dishwasher tablets + wine bottle opener :-)

We feel like we're abroad or on a mass campsite somewhere in Rimini ... we drove here especially to be able to enjoy a vacation at home - that wasn't a good decisionBeautiful place - foreignGreat campsite, unfortunately not enough locals, sanitary facilities top notch, friendly staffAutomatisk oversat.
- J M.September 2020Positivedirect connection to the Danube cycle path, next to a beautiful bathing lakeNegativLayout of the parking spaces in the round area for caravans somewhat "tricky", no separate parking spaces for carsGenerous space in the Danube floodplainsSpacious site, permanent campers separated from tourists. The reception was only partly friendly, dogs are allowed, the restaurant was not open at all. The sanitary blocks are tidy and quite clean, the chemical disposal station is a joke: a manhole directly on an access road and in everyone's field of... vision.
The pitches are mostly arranged in large circles with trees and shrubs - actually a good idea - also for communication with the neighbors in the round - but the "cake pieces" are partly too small for a proper placement of a caravan, the car is directly in the view, separate parking spaces are not available.
The real highlights are right next to the site: the great cycle path along the Danube and the beautiful public bathing lake.Automatisk oversat. - Karel V.September 2020PositiveClean, friendly, helpful, bikesNegativTulln itself was nothing specialLots of shadeBeautifully maintained campground, with pitches in a circle. This causes some confusion for people without spatial insight. Nearby is a natural swimming pool in a park. This is free for guests and super nice. Cycling is perfect and it is a nice base for Vienna, Krems, Melk and winegrowing.Automatisk oversat.
- Steffen P.August 2020PositiveWe were particularly surprised by the great facilities in general! A spacious playground in the shade. A really good restaurant on site and a natural swimming pool right next door with no obvious weaknesses. The sanitary facilities were very modern and clean. We were there for 3 days with a camper van and 2 children.NegativI couldn't find a sandpit. The Danube is right in front of the campsite. Unfortunately, it is behind a large rubble wall. However, this is only minimally annoying as there are plenty of cycle paths. The vacation saverWe stayed at the site for 3 days with a caravan. The pitches are arranged in a circle. The paths are all asphalted. The site has a pleasant atmosphere. We felt very comfortable during the day and at night and can't understand why so few people have rated the site so far. There are very good recommendations... for a visit to Vienna on arrival. In summer, a shuttle service takes visitors into the city twice a week. We had our own car and were accompanied by friends who live there. I would advise against exploring Vienna on your own.Automatisk oversat.
- Jörg R.July 2020PositiveProximity to the DanubeNegativCannot list any disadvantagesAt the gates of ViennaActually a nice place that is well located. Very close to the town center with nice restaurants. Also beautifully close to the Danube. A visit to beautiful Vienna is a must in my opinion. The pitch layout takes a bit of getting used to, but it's okay.Automatisk oversat.
- Melanie B.July 2020PositiveWe stayed in a mobile home with our baby and parents-in-law. Everything was very clean and we had enough space. You can do a lot in nature (cycling, walking, swimming in the Aubad, etc...) but also enjoy the cultural activities of Vienna at the same time, as you don't have to drive far from here to the capital. An ideal location for many activities. The staff at the campsite were very helpful and courteous. Thank you - we will definitely be back again ☺️NegativXVery nice stay for a family in a mobile homeWe stayed in a mobile home with our baby and parents-in-law. A very good restaurant on site and leisure facilities. The proximity to Tulln.NegativToo few sanitary facilities that are not cleaned enough. Only a disgusting fecal sink. Much too expensive (38.- € two pers/pitch)Beautiful place on the Danube with hygienic deficienciesWe were on the site at the beginning of July, the pitches are laid out in a circle, in the middle is a water tap next to a waste water outlet. The paths to the only sanitary facilities are long. There are (for the men) only 5 toilets 5 washbasins 4 showers (the 5th shower was out of order for 6 days)... 4 sinks - not enough for the pitch. The second wash house is in the area for permanent campers and may not be used by normal campers. When about 100 canoeists with tents stayed on the site at the weekend, the hygienic conditions were no longer acceptable - the registration staff did nothing. It is actually a very nice site right on the Danube that should definitely have more sanitary facilities - the site should be maintained more. The only faeces sink is disgustingly creepy. The site has a current ADAC recommendation and belongs to " TOP CampingAutomatisk oversat.
- Tom K.June 2019Positive+ Directly on the Danube cycle path + Tulln garden is worth seeing + Close to ViennaNegativno seriousCamping Tulln - good location on the Danube cycle path, close to ViennaWe were at the Tulln campsite over Whitsun, thank goodness we had a reservation, the site was pretty full. Our pitch was not in the rondel, a bit out of the way and not easy to find as it wasn't numbered. But it was larger and pleasantly quiet. Very friendly welcome on arrival, good explanations about... the infrastructure and the possibilities in the surrounding area. Excellent location directly on the Danube cycle path, about 10 minutes by bike to Gartenbau Tulln, Vienna can be reached by bike for sporty people, otherwise public transport connections. The "Aubad Tulln" swimming pool is also in the immediate vicinity, with reasonable admission prices. The restaurant on site is rustic and there is a large selection on the menu, very good cuisine and large portions, not only popular with camping guests. The sanitary facilities could be larger, but overall they are okay and always clean. Small store for daily fresh pastries, large selection. Don't forget your mosquito repellent. The ideal place for a few relaxing days of cycling and excursions in the surrounding area, we would love to come againAutomatisk oversat.
