Super campsite for young and old. Tranquility and space.
What a nice young couple runs this farm campground. They put very much time into the maintenance. Everything looks perfect. They are also very creative and everywhere you discover nice homemade details. We could pick our own spot and had plenty of space. We will definitely come back here again.

Great campsite
Very nice owner couple, who also open the museum and show their collected things related to agriculture. Great location. Good starting point for watching the cranes in the fall. Sanitary facilities spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back.

Our absolute favorite campsite
Still the most beautiful campsite ever for us! I always find it difficult to find other sites, as we always compare them with Ehrlingshof and no site can "compete" with it ;-) Large, spacious site with pleasantly few campers, no permanent campers, no pitches. No kiosks, restaurants etc., which I personally... don't need on a site. Bread roll service instead. Lots of exciting things for the children - they love the site - including pony rides, a swimming pool and, of course, pedal cars, which are extremely popular with children and adults alike. Parents can just sit back and relax. Well-kept grounds all round, where the naturalness is preserved. And something very special: the excellent craftsmanship of the family who run the farm, which can be spotted everywhere with a trained eye. With our own interest in craftsmanship, we always find it exciting to see what new things are constantly being created and the love and perfection with which things are built. The sanitary facilities are excellent and tastefully designed. Sufficient in terms of size, as there are only comparatively few camper families. Besides, you don't have to shower twice a day on the campsite, and certainly not always on time at 8 in the morning, but that's what camping is for... (my opinion). Many, many regular guests, some of whom have been coming to this campsite for generations. Just take a look at the website, it gives a great impression, which is confirmed all round! PS: I find a single review from October 2014 outrageous and also factually incorrect. For example, the sanitary facilities are cleaned daily (in the morning...), and the (ladies') shower is about 2 square meters larger than most people have at home... !

Idyll without bureaucracy
Oh, how good it feels: a campsite without a barrier, without a magnetic card, without shower coins and without being closed at lunchtime. But with a free choice of pitches on the unparcelled site and a very beautiful location right next to a field just outside Rehden. The very friendly and uncomplicated... operator couple make every effort to prepare the site for guests of all ages and offer them something to do. Various vehicles are available for the children, who are sure to enjoy the many animals on the farm. Adults can book the sauna or visit the farm museum. The sanitary facilities were always very clean and well maintained. We found the solution of keeping our clothes dry while showering with the small hoists as simple as it was ingenious. We also had no complaints about the size of the cabin. Conveniently, there is a fridge at the dishwashing area that the camping guests can use. There are also several vacation apartments and rental caravans on the site, which I can't comment on. You have to go into the village to do your shopping. It's about 10-12 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by bike and about 3 minutes by car. We were there for the crane migration. The nearest observation tower and moorland hiking trail are just a quarter of an hour's drive away, and in the morning you can hear the birds in the surrounding fields. With a bit of luck, you might even see them flying close over the campsite at dawn. On the negative side? Perhaps this: the site is not well lit and you have to be very careful not to hit one of the many pedal cars in the dark, which are often carelessly parked by children in the area and on the driveways. Especially before reversing, it is better to look behind your car again. If you have an electric heater in your camper or other power-hungry devices, you cannot use them. However, as this is also stated on the operator's website, this should come as no surprise. You will find a hairdryer in the sanitary building. We were not affected by the rule that up to 4 nights are not charged for these but for the calendar days; however, I would also be displeased if there were only a few overnight stays. Perhaps this should be reconsidered. But everything was great for us.

Too expensive for what it offers
Small campsite that unfortunately doesn't live up to the promises made on the website. It is relatively expensive because it charges per day and not per night as usual. We (2 adults and 2 children) paid €108 for 4 days or 3 nights and that was in October. The sanitary facilities are modest. 2 toilets... and one shower per gender is really very little. As the campsite was not very busy, it was still sufficient, but if the campsite is fuller there will certainly be longer waiting times. We found the shower particularly bad. You have to pull your clothes up on a rope so that they don't get showered with them. Adults might be able to manage this, but I wouldn't trust children to do it. And as the shower cubicle is quite small, it's not possible to take your children into the cubicle with you. So our children didn't take a shower this time. Cleanliness in the sanitary area was also limited. Within 4 days we only noticed once that it had been cleaned. And even that was only very superficial. Most of the playground equipment that other guests praised so highly is in very poor condition. The wood is mostly weathered, the plastic seats are often broken and various iron struts on the vehicles are broken. Incidentally, this is the first time I have not received a receipt or invoice at a campsite.

Clean, well-kept, large areas! Mostly only families as guests, nobody looks when a child screams. Children have complete freedom!

1000W limit, at 3 Eur a day for electricity I found a bit low
A paradise for families
Lovingly laid out, very well-kept farm with a beautiful campsite. Clean sanitary facilities, showers are free. Numerous vehicles are available free of charge for children. There is a lot to discover (gnome forest, animals, barns with tractors...) As the campsite is very small compared to the rest of... the site, there is enough space to be alone even when it is full. The children quickly make friends and have a lot of fun. There are no rules imposed by the owners, so everything is regulated with decency. There is no outdoor pool when it's hot, but the owner ran the biggest sprinklers so that the children could have fun and cool off!!!

Only 1000W on the power supply. Could be a bit more. The only thing missing is a chill room for the older children in bad weather.
Simply beautiful!
When children are on vacation, parents are on vacation too! And that is a given here. The host parents are very, very nice and make a lot of effort, even with their small sanitary facilities (always clean). Children quickly make friends here and not everything is so strictly regulated. We meet many regular... guests every year. That's a good sign in itself. This is not for people looking for peace and quiet. Children are very welcome here. For a real family vacation! (We are going there for the 5th summer vacation)

Totally cozy and well laid out vacation farm with camping facilities for max. 10 WW. The operators are super nice and always helpful. The sanitary facilities are adequately sized and tastefully furnished. There are countless play opportunities for children, many unique items made in-house and various farm animals. Our two children (aged 3 and 5) love this farm. This was our second time here and we will definitely be back next year.

A very nice place that I have been going to again and again for over 30 years. You can let children run around even when they are very young. In bad weather, you can simply sit in the lovingly furnished barn and light a fire. Cooking on the fire is also possible and is often shared with other campers.
