- Anja R.July 2022PositiveQuiet location In the middle of nature Free use of the beach access at Camping Anderwald Large pitches Dog-friendlyNegativNone for us, but there are no unnecessary frillsA campsite with soulWe were actually just passing through and only wanted to stay one night, but ended up staying three.
Just the right place to relax!
There is no entertainment or anything like that. If you want action, cycle 4 minutes to Neuegg in Arneitz.
The sanitary facilities are clean, functional and available in... sufficient numbers, as are the dryer and washing machine. The WLAN is stable and free of charge.
The operator selects a nice pitch together with you. He drives around the site several times a day to check on things and is always approachable and finds uncomplicated solutions.
The site is structured by trees and hedges, creating lots of pleasant niches. The heat is not on the pitch here! There is plenty of space for children and dogs to run around.
Our dog liked it very much. There is a very relaxed atmosphere with dogs.
There is a beautiful forest right next to the site, including a fitness trail. You can start walking straight away.
A bus also runs 3 times an hour.
The selection of bread rolls in the morning is limited to 3 types, but they only cost 45 cents.
You can also get coffee and everything else you need in the café.
You should arrive with a full fridge and bikes in your luggage, then it's perfect here.
The Faaker See is a 15 to 20-minute walk along a beautiful forest path, or just 4 minutes by bike.
If you stay longer than one night, you can use the beautiful beach at Camping Anderwald. Absolutely recommendable!
We will be back.Automatisk oversat. - Jimmy vom R.June 2022PositiveVery quiet with lots of spaceNegativNothing for children almost completely without holadaro but that is GOOD, to the lake it is 5 minutes by bike through the forestCampsite on the edge of the forestin contrast to the pitches directly on the lake where you lie like sardines caravan to caravan, tent to tent and can or must look the others into their plates.Automatisk oversat.
- Markus H.August 2019PositiveQuiet, Quiet, GreenNegativNothing there for children - just a playground with very old and limited equipment. Very expensive. PITY !!!After 8 hours happy about this place - but -The site is surrounded by greenery - extremely quiet - plot size really huge. Drinking water at the pitch via general well. Path to the well partly 150m - electricity available. Do not forget the electricity key at the registration, otherwise you will have to walk again :-) In my opinion for the little... that is there - extremely overpriced - one night 2 adults 1 small child 41,50€ !!!! A bottle of beer 3€ !!! A muffin 1,60€. - Many wasps - walk to the lake with child 20 minutes. Fittnes Parkur is not recommended. The lake is great and you can also find a place in the shade.Automatisk oversat.
- Susann E.August 2019PositiveLarge, quiet, yet central, cleanNegativ15 min walk to the lakePleasant, spacious and quiet campsiteSpacious, without parceling, quiet, 15 min walk to the lake, nice management, clean sanitary facilities, recommended if you are looking for relaxation and do not value mass tourism.Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas K.August 2019PositiveHiking trails within easy reach. Quiet. Quickly accessible.NegativNone found.Great and quietSuper well-kept place. Nice family business super quiet and quick to reach from the highway. Just the right place to relax after the highway. An insider tip for me.Automatisk oversat.
- Bernd K.August 2017great CP, perfect for relaxing and a 15 minute walk to the party on the beachBeautiful CP by the forest with trees, very suitable for dog owners. Operator is friendly and limited in communication to the essentials.Automatisk oversat.
- Familie G.July 2017PositiveRestNegativrelatively expensive, no catering, no leisure facilitiesSecluded spot in the forestSmall campsite, in the middle of the forest, about 20 minutes walk to the lake, friendly operators. Sanitary outdated and partly only cold water. Very quiet, nothing going on in the forest ...Automatisk oversat.
- Mel H.July 2017Positivebeautifully situated large pitches and quiet locationNegativInternet too expensive Price performance does not really fitBeautiful campsite located by the forest. The site is quiet and beautifully situated. The paths around it in the forest and in the village are beautifully laid out. There is a fitness trail nearby. The offer in the store is not so nice. Internet overpriced. The reception (older staff/chef) very taciturn. Friendliness could be improved. The price... / performance a bit high. Sanitary, old but clean! The pitches are all nice and large and beautifully situated. The place is a good starting point to explore the region. The lake is about 15 minutes walk away.Automatisk oversat.
- Sarah L.August 2016Positivevery quiet and in the middle of natureNegativTo the lake it is about 15 min walk (which did not bother us personally)Highly recommendedwe were there for the first time and would go there again immediately, very quiet cp - it was not overcrowded so really a place to relax and enjoy nature, very nice staff especially very helpfulAutomatisk oversat.
- Christiane M.July 2016Positivemuch peace and quiet.....Very nice campsiteIt was another relaxing vacation.... next year again..... we are already looking forward to it....Automatisk oversat.
- Gerd F.July 2016PositiveBeautiful pitches under old treesNegativa little off the beaten track, but we found this to be an advantage.Small square with cozy pitchesA small site with partly unparceled pitches under old trees. The very friendly operators run the site with experience and dedication. We particularly liked the small niche-like pitches between bushes and under old trees. The site is a little away from the lake, but is much quieter and more relaxing than... the busy campsites right by the lake. We ended up here by chance and in retrospect were very happy. You can get to the lake quickly by car or bike and can also use the beach section of CP Anderwld, as the owners are brothers. In short: a very good choice for those looking for peace and relaxation, even with small children!Automatisk oversat.
- Rainer B.August 2015PositiveQuiet. large pitches. close to all lakes and Villach.NegativNone10 days in AugustThe campsite is in a quiet location. The sanitary facilities are no longer brand new but well maintained and super clean. The pitches are large and very suitable for tent campers, even with dogs, and the lake can be reached by bike in a few minutes and the leisure facilities and the beach at Camping Anderwald can also be used. We will always be happy to return to this site.Automatisk oversat.

- thomas.hesse@hesse-busreisen.de H.August 2014PositiveClean, very nice and friendly.NegativNoneGreat placeDue to traffic, we had only managed 270km in 10 hours on the way to Croatia, and no one (2 adults + 2 children) felt like driving any further. The navigation system threw out this place and we were so happy. The reception was totally friendly. The boss drove up to the pitch in his golf caddy and asked... if he could help. You can get to the lake quickly and the site is very clean, which also applies to the sanitary facilities. Gladly again at any timeAutomatisk oversat.
- Michael M.August 2014PositiveVery quiet location. Ideal for tent camping!!! Friendly staff. Very family friendly.NegativA swimming pool is missing. Otherwise there is nothing to "complain about".Super CP!!!It is a somewhat older CP. Everything is clean, even if not new. Very "quiet location". Were there in Aug 2014 with tent (2 adults and 2 children). About 10 minutes by bike to the lake. Very large pitches. Reasonably priced 39Euro per day. Ideal for tent camping!!!Automatisk oversat.
- Johann Dieter W.June 2014PositivePeace, pure nature, cleanliness and friendliness.Again and againWe have been coming back to this campsite for 30 years, whether for one night or for longer periods. The peace and quiet in the countryside, the friendliness of the owner couple and the cleanliness of the whole site mean that we always enjoy spending a few days here. Even if the place is not directly... on the lake, you can reach it in 15 minutes on a short walk through the forest. For dog owners this place (I have 2 dogs myself) is 100% recommended.Automatisk oversat.
- Sandra P.August 2013PositiveQuiet location, nice pitches, good sanitary facilities, friendly and helpful staffEnjoy peace and natureI've known "Ferien am Walde" since I was 5 years old (that was 45 years ago ;-) and although I haven't been there for a long time, I always have fond memories of the campsite with its tranquillity, the beautiful pitches under old trees and the friendly operators Franz and Brigitte - it's high time to go there again :-)Automatisk oversat.
- Familie M.August 2013We stayed at the campsite for one night on our trip to Croatia. Although it is a bit outdated, everything is very well maintained and everyone was very friendly and helpful, despite our one overnight stay. We paid €42 for one night with a caravan, 2 adults, 2 children (7 & 10) and a dog on 10.08.2013.... The pizza is very good and the site is very quiet. There are beautiful hiking trails to Faakersee where you can go swimming in the lake at Strandcamping Andernach. The two probably work together. All in all a nice clean place in a quiet location.Automatisk oversat.
