- Holger M.August 2024PositiveGood facilities, friendly staff, spacious pitches, regular thorough cleaning, great beach.NegativThe place was already increasingly empty from arrival (August 10) due to the end of the summer season, Caravan pitch with 3 people + dog very expensive in comparison. Rental accommodation ("glamping tent") costs only EUR 150 more for a comparable period of one week.Own caravan or rental accommodation?Large, professionally managed site with good facilities and a wide range of accommodation.
On closer inspection of the price structure for a pitch, it hardly makes sense to come with your own caravan (3 people + dog).Automatisk oversat. - Michael S.August 2022PositiveBeautiful stretch of beachNegativCompletely exorbitant prices. As a single person in a small tent with a bicycle and no electricity, 50 euros for one night. You should avoid such a rip-offExorbitant pricesNo price display. A lower price was quoted at reception than was later charged. 50 euros for one person without a car and without electricity is completely unacceptable. Everyone should avoid such rip-offs. Only a few kilometers away there are campsites with normal prices. The site is secluded in a beautiful location close to the beach.Automatisk oversat.
- Peter K.August 2019PositiveBeautiful locationNegativExpensive, paying for everything separately.Beautifully located but too expensiveCamping is very expensive. Even for swimming pool must be paid. Also electricity in the cottage must be paid separately. Swimming pool very simple. No slides etc. Why this would be 5 stars according to the ANWB is a mystery to us.Automatisk oversat.
- Volker W.June 2019PositiveQuiet location on the beach. Large pitches.NegativToo expensive, few open offers.Overpriced in the off-seasonRight after Whitsun the place is pretty much deserted. None of the advertised attractions are available: Swimming pool & spa due to construction work, electric motorcycles for the children, horse riding, restaurant, sea kayaks. Other things like mini golf only for an additional fee. This makes the price... unreasonably high. The crowning glory, however, was that the brochure stated that the small supermarket was open until 9pm, but it was already closed at 6:30pm. So we didn't get any bread rolls for breakfast, as they would only have been available to order. It would not have been a bad idea to point this out at the oak corners. I understand good service on a 5* pitch to mean something else.Automatisk oversat.
- Carsten N.July 2018PositiveClose to the water, also great with a dog through the free-range forest for dogsNegativMuch too expensive, many places in a very bad condition. The restaurant is pure rip-off Portion of fries 10 euros a burger 20 eurosNot bad, but far too expensiveWe stayed at this campsite for the first time in July. Basically it is quite nice but nothing more as it is far too expensive and many pitches are in a catastrophic state. There is so much sand on the pitches that you are practically standing in a sandpit.Automatisk oversat.
- Michael F.June 2018PositiveTop sanitary facilities, leisure facilities for children, totally quietNegativPlace in the middle of nowhere, extremely expensive in the NS, camping store miserably equipped, Robinson Crusoe effect, hiking and cycling in the middle of nowhere.Totally remote, suitable for Robinson Crusoe feelingCampsite in the middle of nowhere, next town Faxe 14 km, no gastronomy in the area, camping store without fruit, salad, vegetables Extremely expensive: For one night on Maxistellplatz over 70 euros for WoMo beach is not the nicest, sanitary facilities great, total peace.Automatisk oversat.
- Lars H.July 2017Wonderful family placeNice clean place for the family, wonderful facilities with lots to do for the childrenAutomatisk oversat.
- Jörg B.October 2016PositiveClean Proximity to natureNegativVery remote Poor supply options Very very expensive Many things cost extra Opening hours reception and restaurantAt the end of the worldA very, very remote site. Large site for a lot of campers. Long paths on the site. Beach quite ok, but certainly not the most beautiful beach in Denmark. Very clean sanitary facilities. Family baths cost EXTRA for each use !!! Also otherwise you have to pay where you can. Swimming pool, minigolf etc..... In the off-season the restaurant is only open Fri.-Sun. in the evening. Bread rolls in the store only on order. Reception only open until midday. Once again we asked ourselves how the ADAC arrives at its ratings.Automatisk oversat.
- Patrick G.August 2016Positive- Sanitary facilities - Play facilities for children - Pitch size - Location / proximity to the beachNegativ- really not cheap despite the value - Possibilities in the areaTop placeVery beautifully situated site, huge pitches by German standards, sanitary facilities in top condition, the site was kept in good order all day, everything you need was available on the site. Yes, mini golf and swimming pool cost extra, but that's the same on other campsites. Lots of play opportunities... for children. Even if the site is not cheap, you get value for money. The only sobering thing is the possibilities outside the campsite. The towns / shopping facilities / excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity are rather limited, only Copenhagen remains a worthwhile destination at 1h. If you are looking for a beach and peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Well suited for dog ownersAutomatisk oversat.
- Roland M.July 2016PositiveLarge standsNegativFar too expensive.Too expensiveThe campsite is very remote (14 km to the nearest town of Fakse). Large pitches. Sanitary facilities ok. Many of the facilities listed in the advertising (bath, trampoline, WIFI etc.) have to be paid extra, although the basic price for the campsite is already about twice as much as comparable campsites in DK.Automatisk oversat.
- M. M.August 2014PositiveSpacious pitches, good sanitary facilities, dog runNegativExpensive ;)Expensive but wonderfully quiet and spacious in high seasonVery large pitches and not even remotely comparable with German campsites during the vacation season. Quiet location and the beach is right next to the pitch. The washing-up area was very clean and well maintained. The sanitary facilities were also modern and in good condition. We were accommodated with... the motorhome on a beautiful pitch with a view of the sea. The tent pitches were particularly beautiful and some were right in front of the beach. And best of all, if you are traveling with a dog, there is a fenced dog run right next to the site.Automatisk oversat.
- Gareth B.July 2014PositiveGreat location, top quality sanitary facilities, big pitches, pool, wifiNegativNoneGreat location, becch, large pitches, great faciltitiesWe stayed twice for more than a week and enjoyed every day. Large shaded pitches, sandy pine wood, top quality sanitary facilities, friendly helpfull staff, beach, clean modern indoor pool. Greatw alks along the coast, easy access to Copenhagen.
- jørgen h.June 2011pladsen lever højt på at den har en god beliggenhed lige ned til en meget fin strand. der er lidt for få steder at komme af med sit affald. svømmehallen mangler lidt for at vores børn gad at være der mere end 1 gang.
