- Mathias H.August 2024PositiveNone. Only ok for campers who have their own sanitary facilities and catering.NegativToo expensive, not cleanDissatisfied€ 28 for 1 person with bike + mini tent = way overpriced.
Drinks, only when(!) reception is open, only in 0.3 bottles (Dutch standard) at an inflated price.
My shower was dirty.
It is advertised with a restaurant opposite, which no longer exists.
But I had no choice, I couldn't cycle another 30 km to the next campsite.Automatisk oversat. - rene h.September 2023PositivePeace, beautiful nature, forests for walking cozy village. very pleasant, spacious pitches with privacyNegativNo gastronomy yeteen pareltje van een plekCamping Seiffen,
The campsite was recently taken over and is in Dutch hands.
The grass is neatly cut, the sanitary building is clean and fresh.
There is a sandwich service and a modest little campsite store.
I was told that they are planning to remove the mini golf course and build terraces for the... planned catering business, a watercourse and children's play equipment.
They want to sell chips, bratwurst and some food and drink, set up hikers' cabins and some vacation homes for rent and reinstate the shuttle bus for guests with camper vans.
They also want the campsite to retain its natural and peaceful appearance.Automatisk oversat. - Reinhold S.July 2023PositivePeace and quiet is simply unbeatable. Large and selectable pitchesNegativSanitary facilities urgently need a refresh. A change of ownership is still noticeable at the moment and there are many things that still need to be done and the service is not the best at the moment.A campsite with light and shadeWe were at the campsite for the first time in 2022 and were thrilled because everything was perfect. Bread roll service, shuttle to Seiffen for a small fee and restaurant which had a small evening menu which was enough. As a result, we pre-booked our vacation in 2023. Sanitary facilities were cleaned... twice a day, which we really liked. Unfortunately, to our great regret, there was a change of ownership and everything we knew was no longer there, to our great regret. Due to the change of ownership, a lot is unfortunately in disarray. Starting with the sanitary area, as well as the service area. All beginnings are difficult and we hope that the new operator will get everything under control in the course of time. It would be a pity about the place. We are keeping our fingers crossed and will be watching from afarAutomatisk oversat.
- Jörg S.June 2023PositivePeace and quiet, hiking trails from the campsiteNegativnothingAbsolutely quiet locationAbsolutely quiet location with unobstructed views in all directions. Hiking trails from the site. Plenty of space in summer, large pitches, some without hedges or other boundaries. Everything is available in the sanitary building, including washing machines.Automatisk oversat.
- Torsten H.May 2023PositiveEverything perfect! To feel goodNegativThere are none from us!Hüttner familyBeautifully situated and well-kept campsite. - Annett H.May 2023PositiveAway from the hustle and bustle of Seiffen. Starting point for hikes and bike tours.NegativLimited use of restaurant due to staff shortage.IdyllicIdyllically situated campsite surrounded by greenery just outside the village. Shuttle service available for a fee. Shower could do with warmer water. Unfortunately due to staff shortage restaurant only limited use. Staff tries very hard. On the whole recommendable.Automatisk oversat.
- Ursula G.June 2022PositiveVery large pitches delimited by hedges, well-kept green area, great views on all sides, you can start hiking right away, including good internet connectionNegativ0Beautiful placeIt was a perfect stay. We can't explain why this beautiful place is not used more intensively. It is nestled in a magnificent landscape. There are various hiking trails through woods and meadows, e.g. to Seiffen or the nearby Czech Republic.Automatisk oversat.
- Raymund V.July 2021PositiveEverything is clean. Why the occupancy rate is so low is not understandable. The location is great. We experienced a picture-book sunset.NegativThe Munigolf course does not deserve its name. The condition is simply catastrophic. The rest is great.Great campsite with a great viewThe site is in a top location on the mountain with a beautiful panorama. Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly staff.Automatisk oversat.
- Klaus H.July 2020PositiveLevel pitches on a gentle slope and large plots. Clean sanitary facilities.NegativNonePeace and beautiful viewsWhy this place was so underutilized is completely unclear to us. Everything was clean and good and the prices were unbeatably low. The pitches on the slightly sloping site were all very level and large. Paved paths across the site and the pitches with a meadow surface.
Seiffen easily accessible by bike.
The staff are pragmatic and very friendly. The restaurant is a few meters up the hill with small dishes and breakfast.Automatisk oversat. - Uwe M.November 2018PositiveWe only met nice, friendly and competent staffNegativPoor cell phone and internet reception (but this is not the fault of the CP operator)The motorhome port is also recommendedThere are no pitches at the motorhome site, but there is plenty of space (unfortunately there are also cars parked at the motorhome site). Short walk to the reception, the sanitary building and the restaurant. Bread roll service and good food in the hotel restaurant. The shuttle service to Seiffen is... also great. However, for supply and disposal you have to go to the forecourt in front of the hotel or campsite. I find this a bit inconvenient for a longer stay. For a long weekend, the tanks in the mobile are sufficient. We will definitely be backAutomatisk oversat.
- Franz-Josef W.July 2018Positivelarge plots, cleanlinessNegativapprox. 2.5 km to the town centerLarge plotsThe site is located approx. 2.5 km from the center of Seiffen. It is laid out in terraces. All pitches have electricity and water connections. The shower cubicles are no longer state of the art. But they are clean. The staff are very friendly. The adjoining hotel offers delicious and inexpensive food.Automatisk oversat.
- Anja B.July 2018PositiveLocation, quietness, bread roll service, proximity to SeiffenNegativMinigolf course rotten, planted plastic buckets instead of flower pots, cleanliness of sanitary facilities mediocreSuper great location in the immediate vicinity of SeiffenThe site is beautifully laid out, the location is great, watch the sun go down in the evening and enjoy the peace and quiet. You can start hiking directly from the campsite and after a short drive you are right in Seiffen. The town really is an experience even in summer, you have everything. Experience shopping in the folk art stores, 2 very nice museums, restaurants, supermarkets and much more.Automatisk oversat.
- Wolfram K.July 2018PositiveIdeal for rest and relaxation - with plenty of space around the camper.NegativNone can be found.Spacious, quiet and cleanIf you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The campsite is located in a wonderful landscape with great views of the surrounding heights of the Erzgebirge. The pitches for motorhomes are level, firm and grassy. The sanitary facilities are clean and well thought out. At last there... are showers where your clothes and shoes don't get wet! There are also plenty of clothes hooks. You can eat well and inexpensively at the hotel. The staff are polite and friendly.Automatisk oversat.

- Christian J.December 2017PositiveLocation QuietNegativWinter service unreasonable no toddler washroom Bread roll service miserable SCHLACHTHAUS in the middle of the pitchWinter service a foreign wordWe've been back to the site over the last 20 years, now probably the last time, arrived in heavy snowfall, neither access road nor pitches cleared. The next day with mini tractor dilettantishly pushed snow back and forth completely haphazardly. This made everything even more slippery, we had to lie down... three times, but now the icing on the cake is that a large wooden extension with a huge sliding door has been added to the now outdated sanitary building. As this used to be the entrance to the washing-up, cooking and drying room, I opened the sliding door. The extension turns out to be a slaughterhouse for hunters. And two days later I'm actually trying to get my towel from the drying room when a gutted deer dangles from the ceiling. Good thing I don't have small children or a dog. How or who comes up with the idea of building such a slaughterhouse on a campsite is really unbelievable.Automatisk oversat.

- Bea B.June 2017PositiveClean, dog-friendly, changing table in sanitary facilities, card paymentNegativNoneWay over the weekendVery beautiful hilly nature in the middle of the Ore Mountains near the Czech border. Pitch (parceled out, terraced, meadow with trees) and modern sanitary facilities very clean. Electricity connection on site. Some water taps in the immediate vicinity. Showers included in the price. 18-hole minigolf... on site. Dog-friendly (bags in the sanitary building). Quiet location. Access via Deutschneudorf, as the road is wider. Discount grocery store in the village incl. bakery, butcher and drinks market. Administration via the hotel above.Automatisk oversat.
- Andrea D.June 2017PositiveClean sanitary facilities, friendly staff, wonderful peace and quiet and views of the countryside.NegativWhen fully occupied with 150 pitches, the sanitary building is a little too small.Dreamlike peace and quietWe were there for a short vacation. The site with its terraced pitches is beautiful. However, you should be aware that you are in the Ore Mountains (steep paths).Automatisk oversat.
- Uwe B.December 2016Positive-clean, beautiful place with good all-round service -well connectedNegativ-no W-Lan with relatively poor cell phone coverageCampsite top, restaurant flopWe visited the campsite this year for the Festival of Lights and the mountain parade. As we were almost alone on the site, with the exception of the weekends, it was very quiet. Except for the first weekend. There were several campers from Leipzig who didn't like the idea of a good night's sleep, which... of course wasn't so nice. But you can find such contemporaries on almost all pitches and you shouldn't blame the site staff for that. Especially as the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The gas service is positive and by no means standard everywhere. An empty bottle is reported to reception and shortly afterwards the janitor is standing in front of the caravan with a full bottle. The bread roll service and the shuttle bus to and from Seiffen round things off. I can recommend this campsite with a clear conscience. However, the restaurant doesn't come off quite as well in my opinion. You have to wait 90 minutes for your food and then everyone is served their food individually at the table. This does not meet the standards of a restaurant in this class. The food preparation also left a lot to be desired. For example, a Rostbrätel served with deep black onions, cross on the outside and still almost raw on the inside, is not the highest level of culinary art. The fact that the waitress books the bill as a cash payment and then refuses to accept the card payment, despite having a cash card out, is also not exactly service. Other guests who were in the restaurant at the same time had a similar experience. We also heard from other guests that some of the staff were ill and therefore temporary staff had been hired. There is no other explanation for the gap in service between these two parts of the vacation park. Perhaps guests should have been made aware that there are currently staff shortages and that longer waiting times must be expected. At least we would have understood that. Now, unfortunately, I can only find fault with this area. Conclusion: top campsite, flop restaurant.Automatisk oversat.
