- Ansgar K.August 2023PositiveDirectly on the Rittisberg and close to the Dachstein cable carNegativThe parking spaces and, above all, the poor infrastructureGoes like thisThe sanitary facilities are top, but probably only because of the adjacent restaurant and bathing lake. The washing-up area is located in the boiler room, the pitches are uneven and there is virtually no electricity or water infrastructure on the pitches. You also have to look for the reception. It is in the restaurant at the bar.Automatisk oversat.
- Petra H.September 2022PositiveBeautiful little place in the middle of the magnificent mountains. Many hikes can be started directly from here. Super friendly and helpful operator. In addition, there is monster delicious pizza and great salads (in the evening!) directly on site.NegativIs there noJust great !!!It's a wonderful place, surrounded by the most impressive mountains, lush green meadows (September) and great peace and quiet. It's also really dog-friendly. It should be a matter of course for every dog owner to collect the dog poo and dispose of it properly. The meadows are cattle feed! In the evening, you can relax in the site's own cozy restaurant/pizzeria and enjoy a really good meal. We would love to come backAutomatisk oversat.
- Sabine K.June 2021PositiveProximity to the Rittisberg, cycle paths and hiking trails Close to the Dachstein Clearly laid out Swimming opportunityNegativBike and car an advantagePitch under the DachsteinSmall campsite with restaurant on site. Rittisberg adventure mountain with many attractions and refreshment stops within walking distance. Shopping facilities accessible by bike or car. Wonderful view of the Dachstein. Great hiking trails and cycle routes in the immediate vicinity.Automatisk oversat.

- Marc B.December 2018PositiveGas bottle exchange on site in winter. Swimming lake with leisure activities in summerNegativFor Ford ski resorts you have to take the bus or drive. Supermarket also not within walking distanceClean place in a good location for summer activitiesLocated on the outskirts of Ramsau, the village is spread over 3 km without a town center, supermarket far away, so a car is needed. Ideal for cross-country skiing in winter, o. k. for skiing, if you have a car on site (on site only beginner hills.Automatisk oversat.
- Peggy K.September 2018PositiveLocation, activities for families with children, great with a dog.Negativsee aboveVery beautiful on the Dachstein with lots of activitiesThe location is (almost) unbeatable. Very nice place, but right next to the Rittisberg leisure park with lots of activities (summer tobogganing, climbing garden, swimming pool, etc.). In summer it's definitely a buzz all day long, but for families with children. Now in the off-season it was very quiet... and we had a good pitch right next to the meadow. Otherwise the pitches are big enough. The sanitary facilities are a bit small when it's full, but I don't think the toilets directly behind the washbasins are very good. It's a great place to relax at this time of year, with great hiking trails and views of the Dachstein.Automatisk oversat.
- Martin S.August 2018PositiveClose to bus stop, close to cross-country ski trail and ski lift in winterNegativNo separate toilet facilities for campers and general guests, too few showers and toilets, cleaning could be better.Camping on the DachsteinStayed at the campsite several times with the motorhome. Great starting point for hiking, climbing, mountain biking and paragliding. In winter directly on the cross-country ski trail and close to the lift.Automatisk oversat.
- Alex L.August 2018PositiveArea, leisure facilities, gastronomyNegativSanitary facilities (size), waste disposal areaWonderful area, down-to-earth campingThis was our 3rd time camping in Ramsau. The view of the mountains is wonderful, the offer for an active vacation very varied, the huts in the area excellent and cozy. The gastronomy at the campsite is recommendable (sometimes a little overwhelmed with many guests). The sanitary facilities are clean,... but an expansion of the shower/washing areas would be desirable. Please also reconsider the waste disposal area (location, capacity). But basically SUPER. We will be back!Automatisk oversat.
- Hannes B.January 2018PositiveTop location for winter sports.Perfect for winter sportsThe CP is located right next to the Rittisbergbahn lift and the extensive network of cross-country ski trails. The price of €12.50 per person per day for the use of the cross-country ski trails is outrageous, but this is put into perspective with a weekly subscription for €36. The place is nothing special:... sanitary facilities old and simple but clean, pitches badly cleared in winter (there were guests who needed snow chains just to get off the pitch!), restaurant directly on the pitch, ski school, children's ski school on the pitch. Very nice is the new sauna-steam bath area, which is included in the pitch price. Ski rental 200m away. Various restaurants within walking distance, bus stop on site. In the main holiday season certainly very restless. We were there after the big Christmas/New Year's Eve crowd and always had a quiet evening. We would love to come back to Ramsau for winter sports!Automatisk oversat.
- Krzysztof S.June 2017Positivegood price , friendly service , beautiful view of the Dachstein massifNegativI have not foundRECOMMENDVery nice affordable camping, many attractions on site, a small lake with a beach included in the price of the camping, a very good starting point for hiking in particular: to the glacier and the Dachstein massif, of the interesting places I especially recommend is where you can meet marmots in the wild and feed them with carrots - great fun recommendedAutomatisk oversat.
- Herbert O.March 2017PositiveMountains all around, pure nature, really fresh air .... Very friendly and helpful operatorsNegativBusy during the vacation periods. Relatively small pitchesSmall but nice, casual and down-to-earth... is the most appropriate description for this site directly south of the Dachstein. A simply beautiful place in a magnificent landscape.Automatisk oversat.
- Horst G.September 2016PositiveQuiet, beautiful location with a view of the Dachsteinhaus.NegativChemical toilet emptying outside. Disadvantage in summer, guests archery run across the square. Insufficient lighting at night.Very nice quiet campsiteSpacious pitches, starting point for beautiful hikes, summer toboggan run on site. Fresh bread rolls in the morning. Nice helpful site managementAutomatisk oversat.
- Fredy *.May 2016PositiveGames, fun and sport for the kids and relaxation for the parentsSmall but nice, casual and down-to-earth is indeedthe most apt description for this beautiful place. The location is fantastic. Next to the main road, but far enough away for it to be a nuisance. At the foot of the Dachstein with a magnificent panorama, you are given a friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean, the pitches are... graveled and large enough. There is a small restaurant and another one three minutes' walk up the mountain. Fresh pastries are delivered by the local baker and only couch potatoes will get bored here. Although it is a great place to relax when the kids are out and about. The Ramsau Beach leisure center is located around the square, with a small swimming lake, a playground, a beach volleyball court, a trampoline (sunk into the ground), a course for bicycles, e-bikes, a high ropes course for small and large children, Segway rental (including space to ride) and a 3D archery course including a shooting range. If that's not enough, there's a summer toboggan run, a fairytale hike and a small mountain in the immediate vicinity that you can conquer on foot or by cable car and ride back down on a scooter. At the top, there is a beautiful circular hiking trail and a barefoot trail (a must) and a nice hut to stay in. The only thing was that the extended weekend was too short. We definitely have to come back and stay longer :)Automatisk oversat.
- gernot r.June 2014PositiveGreat location.NegativThe guests (in summer a lot) use the same unfortunately very small toilets and shower rooms.Pure active vacationIn the middle of the Dachstein area, a campsite that offers something for everyone: hiking, mountain biking, skiing etc.Automatisk oversat.
- Lilian E.June 2014PositiveLocationNegativLack of fencingBeautifully situated, simple campsiteThe campsite is beautifully situated between farms and hiking trails. Next to it is the Ramsau Beach leisure center, which includes a swimming lake, a playground, a beach volleyball court, a trampoline and a course for bicycles, e-bikes and a small high ropes course - certainly an enrichment in midsummer,... in spring/autumn the lake is too cold, and the other facilities are only open for a relatively short time and are not very busy. This makes the campsite very quiet, at least in the low season. However, in the evenings on nice days there are usually teenagers/young adults on the site (with corresponding alcoholic supplies - children should therefore not be allowed on the trampoline in the evenings). Some of the men's sanitary facilities were not particularly clean, but there was nothing to complain about with the ladies. The anteroom to the sanitary facilities also serves as a lounge, which is not an ideal combination. There is no store, but you can pre-order baked goods in the evening (except on Sundays and public holidays). The restaurant (and therefore also the reception) close early. Children can let off steam in the adjacent meadow (ski kindergarten in winter).Automatisk oversat.
- Jan S.July 2011PositiveLocation is scenically simply greatDisappointment all along the lineWe were thoroughly disappointed here. The service wasn't up to scratch, the sanitary facilities were not up to scratch in terms of standard and cleanliness and you can't call it a bathing lake either. The only thing that was nice was the location. During our stay we also had the misfortune that a reservoir... was being built here, so the excavator was in operation from 7am to 6pm. I had to point out the problems with the sanitary facilities several times and there was hardly any change. For an early departure, they wanted to charge the full fee for the booked period, but then decided against it.Automatisk oversat.
