Camping Gina Park is located in Grange sur Vologne. Our mobile home was dirty on arrival and in very poor condition (the doors wouldn't close at all, including the bathroom door, the boiler broke down every other day, and of course right in the middle of the shower, worst of all, the shower leaked and... every morning at least three centimetres of water had run into the master bedroom. When the manager came around, he scratched his head, said two or three vulgarities and left without doing anything. The rest of the campsite was no better: the pool's foot bath was a pool of dirt when it rained, otherwise it was simply empty. The pool water was dodgy. And so on.... I had asked for a tent pitch next to the mobile home so as to be near my child sleeping in the mobile home with my parents, insisting that the tent had two bedrooms. What we were offered was a small patch of grass on a slope where it was impossible to sleep. So we pitched the tent on the parking area. As a result, when it rained heavily, the drainage ditch not far from the tent became blocked and overflowed, flooding the tent. As the site was designed for cars, the rain was not absorbed by the earth. Of course, the manager still charged us the price of a normal tent pitch. The reception on the campsite was very good on the phone when you booked, and very good if you drank at the bar, but I couldn't give an opinion outside these situations as the managers don't leave their bar. Maintenance of the campsite is left to the care of a very nice and helpful young man who seems to be overwhelmed by the tasks assigned to him (poor guy!). The entertainment was : I only saw one event in the two weeks I was there: a "dance party" in what's called the "club house", which is actually a basement full of dusty foosball tables and a musty smell..... At the end of my stay, when I dared to ask the manager what commercial gesture she intended to make following all the inconveniences I had endured, she was unpleasant and extremely dishonest. However, the setting is magnificent, fortunately Mother Nature is here to provide us with this pleasant setting.
