- Lucas A.April 2022PositiveThe barbecueNegativsmall, economical mobile home, but what a state of repair! everything has to be reviewed, and it's extremely expensive for what it is! heating from midnight to 7am only, condensation that would make a hammam pale, disastrous bedding, window panes as thin as cigarette paper, shower that floods the bathroom - well, if you can call it a bathroom - and the water stagnates, no drainage and humidity, in short, I'm not drawing a picture, very noisy campsite, no respect for people's sleep because there's no security on site. plan an internet package before arriving as wifi is non-existent in their "wifi corner" (home-made box for a very large campsite, which is normal). restaurant inside very bad and very expensive (you just have to pay to sit down 4 euros for 2 people and the dishes are expensive for the bad quality not to say immondo (I'm a chef) my wife had 100g of pasta in the plate and me 200g incomprehensible ... staff speaks English but when we tell them that it's not going any more nobody speak English and flee us downright not professional) extremely unpleasant staff (reception, shuttle and restaurant drivers) let's talk about the free shuttle: Covid doesn't exist for them, apparently (18 seats in the mini bus, but 25 or more can fit in when the police aren't present at the stop where they pick people up) dangerous driving (well, in Italy it's commonplace, but with just 25 people, including people sitting in the bus lane and children, a minimum of safety is appreciated) in short, a campsite to be avoided unless you're in a camper van and have your comforts with you! large pool emptied (mid-April vacation, but with 25 degrees outside, it's a shame), small pool for children, full but dirty, all the deckchairs broken, a shame for comfort in the sun. at this price, renovate...Horriblesmall, economical mobile home, but what a state of repair! everything has to be reviewed, and it's extremely expensive for what it is! heating from midnight to 7am only, condensation that would make a hammam pale, disastrous bedding, window panes as thin as cigarette paper, shower that floods the bathroom... - well, if you can call it a bathroom - and the water stagnates, no drainage and humidity, in short, I'm not drawing a picture, very noisy campsite, no respect for people's sleep because there's no security on site.

at this price, renovate...Automatisk oversat. - Alfred G.March 2022PositiveRelatively close to the city, about 15 km.NegativNo shopping facilities on site.Beautifully situated terrace camping! We stayed at the campsite for 10 days in March '22.
We liked it very much. Very friendly staff. Some sportiness/condition is an advantage, as the terraces are laid out. Shopping facilities 5 km away with cafe bars, supermarket, pizzaria etc. Rome is 15 km away.
The place offers Rome trips, which we did... not take, because we wanted to drive ourselves. Which is not everyone's cup of tea in Rome.
But you are independent. Wlan bad to not available, like almost everywhere.Automatisk oversat. - Markus L.October 2019PositiveUse the shuttle to the train station and local transport (cheap in Rome!)Negativwe did not come across anyVery good place for Rome visitors who want peace and quiet in the eveningAll the staff are super nice. They all speak English. A shuttle takes guests to the train station several times a day from where it goes to the holy city. More precisely to Popolop Square. The swimming pool is ok. Sanitary is cleaned several times. We were there in October and had plenty of space on... the terraced square. For guests who want to explore Rome "the" place! Get your Rompass (Turbopass) at home. Then get a ride to the train station at 08:30. The train arrives every 10 minutes. Then explore Rome and in the evening at 20:00 or 22:00 have the train take you back to the square. Our next visit to Rome will be to this square again. That says it all, doesn't it?Automatisk oversat.
- Matthias F.August 2016PositiveRome very closeNegativIt is very loud at nightConclusionA nice young lady or an older unfriendly lady welcomes you at the reception. Large enough pitches for motorhomes. Electricity and security even for air conditioning very good. Store only suitable for survival. Restaurant looks very good. Pool is available. Transfer by bus to the metro available, which... is very good and also works. Rest not possible at all because stray dogs outside the campsite bark very loudly all night. The two dogs of the campsite owner join in because they want to defend their territory and also bark very violently at night so that sleeping is out of the question. A complaint at the reception is pointless and does not bring any change. Conclusion: In my opinion, a stay is definitely not advisable. If you don't value quiet nights and are only in Rome during the day, this place is recommended in terms of value for money.Automatisk oversat.
- Maria O.August 2016PositiveShuttle busNegativHygiene in the sanitary area Very few amps of electricity availableCampsite on a slopeVery nice, friendly campsite on a steep hill. There is a swimming pool (with swimming cap obligation and opening hours (! from 9-19h)). The sanitary facilities are lousy, the drain stinks - yes, even in the showers you can still smell the toilet. The water contains chlorine and is very chalky (the campsite... has its own water treatment plant which you drive past on arrival). The site is divided into several "terraces" and there are about 6 pitches on each terrace. These are quite large and at ground level. There are lots of trees on and around the campsite. + Shade, lots of crickets and mosquitoes! There is a small market (which doesn't even stock butter/margarine etc.) and a small restaurant (under the same roof). Big advantage: the free shuttle bus to the metro station (Prima Porta) which takes about 13 minutes. It takes about 25 minutes by train to the center.Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas R.September 2015PositiveQuiet location Sanitary facilities very clean Shuttle bus Nice staffNegativTV reception difficult Tourist tax not shown on homepageStroke of luckAlthough we actually wanted to go to a different campsite, we were very satisfied. The sanitary facilities were very clean the whole time. The pitches are relatively small and the electricity boxes are a "disaster" but they work. TV reception is not possible on the whole site. There is a free shuttle... bus to the Prima Porta train station (20 min. to Rome center) with a very friendly and helpful driver. The restaurant on the campsite is inviting and highly recommended. The service is also great. Any time again.Automatisk oversat.
- Daniela N.August 2014PositiveProximity to Rome. Small and therefore quiet. Regular shuttle bus service to station. Swimming pool for relaxing.Tiny campsite, but ideal for easy access to Rome. The campground is quiet. Served by a shuttle bus that takes guests to Prima Porta station. From there you can get to the center of Rome. Not all pitches are easy for an average-sized camper. Bathrooms long since renovated and clean.Automatisk oversat.
- Jürgen F.August 2013friendly welcome, small pitches on terraces, shopping facilities on the site zero.the very nicely located pub offers very good food at normal prices.the pool is wonderful, but better attention should be paid to cleanliness(ground)bathing caps compulsory.the sanitary facilities are simple and mostly clean(there... is no toilet paper!!!!)the shuttle bus is always on time, the staff friendly.internet was not available for 14 days despite repeated requests.for shopping it is best to drive on the country road to prima porta, there is a simply supermarket at the entrance to the village with a very large assortment(also fresh fish)next to it there is an electricity market and other stores.we can recommend the cp for smaller wowa for a stay in rome.Automatisk oversat.
- Michaela W.August 2011Wonderfully quiet CP. Ideal for excursions to Rome. The shuttle service with a nice bus driver is ideal. Sanitary facilities in top condition. Two minus points: Market upstairs with poor catering. No supermarket in the area either. We always bought our food and drinks in Rome. 2nd minus: you have to wear swimming caps in the pool (€2.50 at the CP).Automatisk oversat.
- Pierre C.June 2011Very good CP by Italian standards. Clean and well maintained. Rome is easily accessible by public transportation. Shopping for groceries is best done in Rome itself. Gladly again. Pierre and MirtaAutomatisk oversat.
- Rainer V.May 2011Super CP, ideal for excursions to Rome. Bus shuttle very good. Great layout. Terrace pitches a bit small. Great restaurant, super staff. Nice pool. Any time again. ACSI participant.Automatisk oversat.

- Konrad B.June 2010PositiveCleanliness, proximity to Rome, affordable pricegreatThe campground is located on a hill, the plots are shaded. It is a good place to explore Rome. A shuttle bus goes from the campground to the station, and from there a train will take you to the metro station. Buying a train ticket travels all over Rome. It is worth purchasing an all-day ticket. There... is a nice atmosphere at the campground, it is oriented more towards people visiting Rome. I have been to it twice and always left satisfied. I highly recommend this campground.Automatisk oversat.
