Well!

We went to this campsite at the end of the season. We arrived in the evening, where we were able to do our check in via a machine! Big plus point.

It was very empty on the campsite.

It is nice for children, there is a big playground and a nice swimming pool.

Unfortunately the sanitary facilities... left a lot to be desired.

The campsite is still quite expensive at the end of the season!

The site is off the beaten track. You need a car or are a good cyclist!

The campsite did not live up to its own claim (5 stars and "Danmarks bedste Campingplads 2018").
The expectations associated with this were not met. Especially the much-praised luxury wash houses (exclusively for platinum guests) were often dirty. For the additional costs (hot water) you often only got... lukewarm water. The fact that this problem is known does not help in the moment under the cold shower. I expect from a 5 star place that this problem is fixed or the additional costs are dropped.
Because the stay is expensive enough as it is.

A couple, were from 23.8.-27.8.16 on this place. We liked it very much, everything was fine, but you should take other reviews more seriously. The trouble started at the billing - as already described by others. Despite ACSI, we were really charged. We had to pay for the swimming pool, shower time was... far too short--second card swipe--payment despite only showering once in the time. Then we were charged €5 when we settled the bill with Mastercard. When I asked to cancel, I wanted to pay by EC card, but they were unwilling to do so--not possible, we won't do it. I can only advise everyone to discuss the costs to be incurred in advance despite ACSI and to ask for a price list of the additional costs, which was only given to me AFTER my complaint. I have the feeling that there is a method behind it. The ACSI price of €15 became €26 per day. Even W-lan had to be paid extra at €2.50 per day, which is free at most campsites. A cheap price is offered and then slammed. Keep your eyes open on this pitch. A couple

Really all elite?
This time on the round trip to Denmark we were to visit a so-called "Elite Camp". The advertising promises a varied program for children. The place is huge, everything looks very professional. There are large playgrounds for children. The entire course is divided into different categories, bronze, silver,... gold and platinum. The prices are set accordingly. By Danish standards, the course is overpriced. If you don't like platinum and aren't allowed to have a tipple on platinum, everything is just average. Everything is subject to a surcharge. You get a chip when you check in, this chip is the central utensil for your stay. You even have to swipe the chip for hot rinse water. Hot showers? Very welcome, but only so briefly that it is almost impossible to wash your head. For another round, please rebook with a chip. That's how it works, always and everywhere. At the end you literally get an invoice. The pitches are very small and definitely too small for oversized motorhomes or long, double-axle caravans. We had put up an awning, but then there was hardly any space left for the car, and pretty much every pitch has bare earth in the awning area. The location of the campsite is good. The beach can be reached via a road and is very beautiful and long. A walk around the neck is recommended. The well-stocked supermarket and the restaurant are also an advantage, but both are completely overpriced. The overall impression is that maximizing profits is the top priority here. After 4 nights it became monotonous and we moved on. If you're on Funen, you can go here, but you don't have to because it's better somewhere else.

Helt igennem lækker plads med flotte facilitetsbygninger i vikingestil. Lækker restaurant med Buffet til kun 129,- pr. pers. hvor der bl.a. var Rib-Eye af Herford kvæg blandt retterne. Det har vi alligevel aldrig oplevet tidligere... I ferier og højsæsonen er der masser af aktiviteter og stort indendørs badeland.. Super plads
