The campsite has no barrier and no reception. The operators are only on site temporarily, without fixed times. You look for a pitch yourself and pay later. A beautiful building houses numerous guest rooms for rent, a fully equipped... guest kitchen for campers with 3 dishwashing facilities and the sanitary facilities. There is an open shower area in the toilet room for both men and women. These were actually used, as there is only one lockable shower, which can apparently be used by both men and women. However, it is very clean and the whole site makes a well-kept impression, with only a few old caravans spoiling the picture. The campsite is used by a few permanent campers, but without the usual sheds and fences. We were on the site over Whitsun, there were hardly any tourist campers on site, it was wonderfully empty and very quiet apart from the airfield (which didn't bother us). There is no store and no bread rolls on site. Shopping facilities 4 km away. The price/performance ratio is okay, but more normal shower cubicles would be desirable. Very friendly and attentive operatorsNegativNo bread roll service.Insider tip: Beautifully maintained CP with mega-nice operatorsThe site is located together with a golf course and an airfield on the only hill far and wide. Although it is right next to the airfield, we never felt disturbed by the sports planes. The hosts are totally uncomplicated, friendly and attentive and convey a family atmosphere that we have never experienced... before. The campsite looks more like a huge park with a Tuscan villa. A fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, microwave, oven/grill, several fridges and freezers, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, etc.) is available to all guests. The laundry rooms are up to date, very well maintained and always clean (the "boss" personally takes care of this). All guests have access to a complete, lockable shower room. In the "hall", which is furnished with several seating and dining table groups, a wood-burning stove and a decoration just like at home, guests can spend the evening together or enjoy the unobstructed view over the garden into the distance in one of the beach chairs or on the terrace. Beer and wine can be found in the fridge in the kitchen at (real) cost price (a bottle of beer cost €0.50 during our stay!). There is also a vacation apartment in the villa and very nice double rooms in a separate outbuilding (also in Tuscan style), which are particularly interesting for cyclists and motorcyclists. The campsite consists of huge, completely flat lawns on which you can set up your caravan or motorhome (there are no "plots"). No problem even for 20-ton vehicles. Electricity and water taps are always nearby. Excursions in the surrounding area: North-East Sea Canal (great cycle tour), Büsum and St. Peter Ording (on the coast), Heide (district town with huge market square), Helgoland. Tip: Take the train and bike to Sylt from St. Michaelisdonn station (there's a travel agency at the station that organizes the tour free of charge if you buy tickets). We found this place by chance because we need a dialysis station nearby (and there is one four kilometers away in Eddelak). It wasn't the last time we were there - with or without dialysis.Automatisk oversat.

This style reminds me more of a lodge. A new guest house with equally new sanitary facilities. There is also a very nicely equipped guest kitchen. You can choose "your" free pitch yourself without having to go through a lengthy registration procedure.... The pitches are dry and absolutely level. The area itself is ideal for long walking tours. For cyclists, it is a bit challenging here, as it is very hilly in the immediate vicinity. Despite the sports planes, you can really switch off here. But it should be mentioned: Completely uncomplicated by phone. Arrival completely uncomplicated, sanitary facilities like at home and hosts who go out of their way. The campsite is in more than perfect condition and the location right next to the sports... airfield is exciting but not annoying. The Fliegerklause, you should know, is "never open" according to the landlord, "only on Saturdays and then I have closed company". However, if you ask the campsite operator, you can get breakfast and even fresh Heligoland fish for dinner. The ambience of the Fliegerklause may be stuck in the charm of the 80s, but that's what gives the restaurant its flair. We felt at home here from the very first moment. I called from the road to see if there was still a pitch available or if it was open at all. Although she was on her way to a wedding, the owner unlocked the site... and made a fire in the fireplace for us (we were there in March) and explained everything to us, and we were allowed to spend the evening in the house by the fireplace. The next morning it was agreed that I should put the money in the letterbox, as they would not be there when we wanted to leave. In the evening and in the morning we ate and drank very well in the Fliegrklause, which is about 500 meters away, and had a great chat with the landlord. - Thorsten K.May 2012No reception at the site, the operator couple comes by once a day and collects the money. You look for a pitch, connect the electricity and that's it. Very simple pricing: 10€ per MoCa or WW plus 5€ per person over 14 years - everything else is included, including the complete kitchen with stove, fridge-freezer... and 2 washing machines plus dryer, even tea towels are provided. Modern, clean sanitary facilities, but the communal showers take some getting used to. Sun terrace with tables and benches and beach chairs! Nice inexpensive restaurant on the edge of the site in the airfield building or 800m away in the next village. Air traffic on the neighboring airfield almost only at weekends and never at night, it didn't bother us.Automatisk oversat.
