Beautiful place right on the beach
The site is located slightly off the main road between Struer and the Odeesund Bridge (both easily accessible by bike), in an absolutely quiet location at a small marina right on the water with a view of the island of Veno. Most of the pitches are occupied by permanent campers, but the structures are... limited so that this is hardly noticeable. The staff are extremely friendly and there is a small store where you can buy the essentials, as well as a small snack bar that makes amazing ice cream cones, among other things!

The new wash house on a hill offers every comfort including a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor washing-up area with a direct view of the fjord while washing up - great.

A few meters into the water there is also a diving platform with a slide, which is certainly a highlight when the temperatures are right.

Dogs are really welcome here!
I was here at the end of April with two dogs. The reception was very friendly and German was also spoken at reception. Registration was quick and uncomplicated. As it was very stormy, the operator advised me not to stand right by the water, but to stay a little more sheltered from the wind behind the... sanitary building. This really was the better choice. The sanitary facilities are very spacious, well maintained and clean. Hot water included! There are family bathrooms with a shower, washbasin and toilet. A lovingly furnished children's bathroom with changing table, baby bath, children's showers and children's toilet. The "adult washrooms" are also spacious. The dog shower for the four-legged family members is also ingenious. This is equipped with hot and cold water, on a platform with a small staircase so that the large animals do not have to be lifted up. The lower part of the area is level. The rear area, which is next to the second sanitary building, is laid out in terraces, so that you also have a very nice view over the bay from the rear pitches. The pitches are large enough to suit everyone. The ground is meadow, so that pegs can also find a good hold. The pitches are separated from the path by boundary stones. Electricity column always for two pitches. There are no trees on the pitches, so they are nice and sunny. Pitches are slightly uneven, so chocks are provided. The lounge is absolutely superb. Several tables as a dining area with a great view over the bay. Cooking area with hob, two ovens and microwave. There is also an area for washing up, and a second one outside. There are a lot of permanent campers on the site, but they don't occupy the front row by the water. Tourists therefore have a better chance here. WLAN is also free of charge. The signal was very good on the pitch behind the sanitary building, but unfortunately it also fluctuated a lot, so that the connection was interrupted from time to time. The dog island, where the four-legged friends can run free, is also brilliant. The word "run" really does mean something here, as the island is very large. The Schnuffis even have the opportunity to go into the water from the island. You can do your shopping on site in the small supermarket, which has a very good range of food and non-food items. Small but sufficient. Further shopping facilities are 7 km away (Aldi, Netto, Liedl and also a Danish supermarket). The beach is not very suitable for swimming as it is very stony. So the place is absolutely recommendable. We will definitely be back!

Åben plads direkt ud til Limfjorden med lille hyggelig bådehavn og strand. Pæne rene faciliteter. Børne- og hundevenligt. Stor hundeø.

Kan være blæsende, da åben plads. Ikke varme mad på pladsen (dog lille kiosk med morgenbrød, diverse, slik og isvafler.

Flot udsigt direkt ud til Limfjorden - og den hyggelige lille bådhavn. Legepladser og hoppepude. Beach and pæne faciliteter. Flot udsigt fra pænt køkken/fællesrum. Sødt værtspar. Ideelt til hund, da hundebad, storhundeø m/hundestrand på pladsen (over lille træbro) Hund gratis. Priser i den billigen ende... og gode tilbud. Naturskønt, ro og gode udflugtsmuligheder til bil-, cykel- og gåture. Possibly Vesterhavet, Mors, Lemvig and Holstebro. Det er en ret åben plads og kan blæse rimeligt meget.

Quiet, beautiful and very dog-friendly
Used as an overnight stop on the return journey from Skagen. Mainly used by Danes, the overnight pitches for tourists are natural and right by the boat moorings. The sanitary building, like the site, is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities very clean, although the site was well occupied.... For dogs, there is a "dog island" on which obedient dogs are also allowed to run free. The reception was very friendly. There is an unloading and supply station for motorhomes right at the entrance.

Rigtig dejlig plads for senior
Hyggeligt sted hvor der også er lille havn og med udsigt udover Limfjorden og Venø . Hostebro er en hyggelig handels by med en god gågade.

Skøn plads lige ud til vandet. Venligt værtspar. Ny flot bygning med køkken/spiseplads, fam.baderum, hundebad m.m. Da vi har 4 mindre hunde var det et stort plus, at der var en stor hundeø, de kunne løbe frit på + hundebad´+ hunde er gratis. Derudover er varmt vand gratis. Ligger dejligt til ture til vesterhav og midtjylland. Vi kommer gerne igen :-)
