We were very satisfied
We have never been to a Valamar premium class campsite before. The campsite partly has the character of a park, very well maintained, sanitary facilities always clean. Showers and individual washing cubicles are spacious. The campsite is relatively small, but this is not a disadvantage. Due to the hillside... location, some of the pitches are terraced and therefore often have a sea view. Most of the pitches are also suitable for vehicles/caravans > 7.5 m. The friendly staff offered us the opportunity to choose a pitch from three different areas. We opted for a pitch in area A, the upper area of the terrace pitches. This area is virtually opposite the reception. Behind it is a small supermarket with really full shelves. I'm mentioning this because we've often had different experiences outside the high season. Two steps below our pitch is one of two sanitary buildings. Just below it is a space for events, as well as sales stands such as bakeries, souvenirs, etc. This is followed by the restaurant and the pool with its own children's area. There is a pebble beach by the sea and a dog beach, which is so well maintained that you can swim here with your dog. The town of Krk can be reached on foot along the sea in about half an hour. It's also not far by bike, although it's quite an uphill ride from the campsite. This is not uncommon on Krk. Of course, all this comes at a price. The pitch costs are correspondingly high. The discount with my Valamar customer card came in handy. We really liked it here, we think you can still spend relaxing days here even when it's full.

There is no second restaurant and a market on the other side. The road/paths to the toilets are not lit at night. There should be a waste container next to the shower blocks.

Otherwise the campsite is nice. The shower houses are always clean and well maintained. It would be good if the dog owners were among themselves or even better no dogs at all. Constant dog barking is very annoying!!! The campsite is very expensive in high season!

The dog beach is the nicest part of the beach and therefore families without dogs also go to the dog beach. This is annoying and sometimes overcrowded.

This is the second time we've stayed here with our motorhome and dog. Everything is really new and of high quality, the wash houses are always clean.

Beautiful campsite by the sea
The Krk Premium Camping Resort really is a great place for a summer vacation. The campsite has everything you need: Modern and clean sanitary facilities, beautiful stone beach with clear water, restaurant/bar, supermarket, bakery. Krk can be reached via a path along the beach in about 30 minutes. The... complex is really well maintained and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with our parking space, as it was unfavorably cut for a car and trailer. However, we were able to park our car in a parking lot.
We can only recommend the site!

If you don't have a dog, don't go to this kennel. Everything is littered with poos. It's impossible to sleep in because they have to go for a walk at 6 o'clock and pee all over the place.

We were very happy with our mobile home and had a great week here. We had everything we needed. Also great pool, our kids, 7 and 4 had a lot of fun on the slides and playing soccer. Every morning at 8 a.m. I enjoyed great sports by the sea with the trainer Karmen. There was so much on offer for everyone and everyone was very friendly.

Beautiful mobile home, great beach section, you could go into the water and snorkel and swim. Great pools, especially pleasantly warm. My kids, aged 4 and 7, also loved the slides. We also played mini golf, tennis and soccer. It was especially great in the evenings that there were so many children on... the soccer pitch, the kids made friends straight away. I was very enthusiastic about the camping vacation because the people, both holidaymakers and staff, were so nice. Thank you for a great week's vacation! Special praise goes to our favorite trainer Karmen, who impressed us with her cheerful manner and her skills in sports. Whether it was yoga, Pilates or activity, she really knew her stuff 👍👍👍

- That not all pitches are nicely graveled - The nasty little burrs that several trees in the area shed. As a result, our dogs' fur was very full of them every day, which meant an hour of brushing every evening. We also had two fig trees on the edge of the pitch, which were delicious, but also attracted a lot of ants, as more fell down than we could eat. - It is not possible to book the desired pitch, but only the zone and the area - There is a traffic jam at the bakery in the piazza every morning. I personally find the price for a bread roll (approx. €1.05) overpriced for the taste and size.
A real 5 star PREMIUM place - TOP
We were on the site with our caravan, 2 children (16, 15 years) and 2 dogs. We had a pitch in the Comfort Mare category. It was big enough and nicely divided by hedges. The pitches are all very well maintained and the surface is partly fine gravel. Our pitch only had coarse gravel and the typical red... earth. Despite the size of the pitch, everything was within easy walking distance. Due to the terraced layout of the site, there are steps and steeper paths to negotiate. The sanitary facilities were extremely clean and modern. The dog beach was mega and rarely seen such a great one. These are usually rather small and lovelessly designed. Krk can be reached via a path along the coast in about 30 minutes, but is not suitable for baby carriages. On the way there, you will see the next bay, which is great to reach on a SUP board or as a good swimmer. This bay is fantastically beautiful 🤩. There is also a dog beach there which is very popular. The supermarket on site is not large, but the range is good and sufficient and the prices are okay. In Krk itself there are Lidl, Plodine and Konzum. The supermarket sells fresh baked goods every morning at good prices (3 rolls for the price of one at the bakery in the piazza). The croissants with jam were particularly delicious 😋. We generally stay at 5 star premium places, but we haven't seen anything like this before. There is a huge area with basketball, soccer, beach volleyball and tennis courts. There are also table football and table tennis courts. There is also a nice mini golf course. Accessories such as balls and clubs are available on site. The game lounge is also ingeniously designed, with all the latest games consoles. Use of all the equipment and rental is completely FREE. My two loved it, for them it was the best place we had booked so far. If we go on vacation to Krk again, it will be here.

Nice place with restrictions!
If it is important to you to get a certain seat - unfortunately, your wishes are not always taken into account - you are in the wrong place here.
But if it's not so important to you, you're in good hands here.

I cannot recommend Premium and Luxury Mare pitches in the C (lower area) and D area, as the... main road runs through there.

There are only two wash houses on the entire site. Too few in my opinion. These are cleaned regularly. At the end of the day, however, you have to look where you can get a clean toilet.
You can also rent a private bathroom for 100 kunar/day. However, there are only 8 of them.

There is a nice dog area, which is large and well maintained.

There is an hourly safari cab to Krk for 12 kunars/person. There is also a footpath that takes about 30 minutes, but it is not developed; lots of stones and roots. However, it is doable with sturdy shoes.

You can also buy groceries outside (Plodine, Lidl). However, difficult to reach without a car. Unfortunately no developed cycle path.

On October 2nd, despite good occupancy, the 2nd wash house was closed and the 2nd was difficult to reach via several steep stairs, the shower buttons ran for about 2 seconds with minimal water jet and massively warm.

Reception understaffed, the staff seemed overwhelmed and not exactly friendly. The guests' concerns were not addressed. If you book, you are told that it is not possible to book specific seat numbers. Only the category can be booked. If you don't book, you get pitches where nobody would ever voluntarily park their motorhome. All this despite the fact that other pitches in the same category are free. You have to understand that first! They are not able to create a decent booking system and ensure transparency. At least you have a stable internet connection. At least it's expensive, ACSI is no longer accepted (which would make it cheaper)!
Nice and expensive
We will be going to other places on the island of Krk in future. I don't want to queue for an hour and then be directed to places that are already occupied.
Then I have to queue again. This is not worthy of a premium pitch.

A good campsite with some compromises
Despite the Whitsun vacations, you didn't get the feeling that the campsite was fully booked. You always got a sun lounger by the pool, wash houses were cleaned regularly and were sufficiently available.
The pool area is great for children up to about 10 years old. Our children (4-8 years) enjoyed the... entertainment and the Maro Club.
We were in the B area and were able to place 2 larger caravans including car on our two pitches. We had natural shade, which is not always the case on the front and rear pitches.

Well-stocked supermarket with moderate prices.
Oliva restaurant: good service, good and tasty food (selection).
Large sports area.
Bakery: good selection, rather expensive, hardly any waiting time although the place was fully booked.

Big disadvantage is the chaotic check-in and reservations: long waiting times and requests ignored. We definitely need to improve this! Not all caravans are suitable for all pitches. Be sure to check out the pitch beforehand and be there before reception opens (even if you have completed online check-in in advance).

Beach is ok but there are nicer ones. What is not good: having to pay 120 kn or 80 kn for sunbeds/loungers per day. Small scoop of ice cream 10 kn. Small fries 25 kn.
Some places in Germany are even cheaper.
Tennis court was just being built at the time.

All in all, a beautifully laid out campsite in the higher price segment.

5 stars with small compromises
The campsite was our first longer pitch (1 week) during our first vacation in Croatia with our own motorhome. Overall, it was a success - but the Pentecost holiday rush gives a first impression of how full and noisy it can get during the main season.

We were in area "B" with the caravan. This area is centrally located and you can easily reach the beach, the pool and the sanitary building. Attention, you should be good on foot. The terrain and paths are a little steeper.
We ate at olivia twice on the campsite and had pizza togo once. Both we and our... children were very satisfied with the food and the friendliness of the waiters each time. Everything is just right here. Price performance and taste are TOP!
The reception staff are mercilessly overworked.
2x washing (only the washing machine without dryer) should cost 175 kn!!!!!
We reserved a "comfort Mare" pitch. According to the description on the internet, these pitches should have between 70 - 110 square meters. We also specified the dimensions of our caravan when we made the reservation. We were allocated pitch "B011". This doesn't even have 60 square meters. But there is a manhole cover on the pitch. Even if you can't see it, you can smell it in places. Please take a close look at the pitch before setting up.
In general, many pitches are very small.
The cleanliness and hygiene of this pitch leave a lot to be desired. The toilets were often very dirty from the evening until almost noon the next day. For a 5 star premium place this never meets the requirements. Here I would give a maximum of 2 stars.
Other campsites in Croatia with fewer stars do this much better.
There is a bakery for all guests. There are very long queues here at peak times.
Our conclusion for this campsite. Once and never again. There are much nicer, cleaner places in Croatia. You don't need to vacation here a second time. Overall, the campsite deserves a maximum of 3 stars!

Happy summer vacation
We spent a very nice vacation here with the family. Unfortunately, check-in was a bit chaotic. There is obviously a lack of an intelligent reservation system. It doesn't really make sense to make requests in advance, such as vehicle length etc. You are allocated what is available. So tents end up on... 10 meter comfort pitches while we were offered two small pitches with a tree in the middle with a 9 meter caravan and a tent. At least we were able to talk to the nice people at reception and convince them that this was impossible. In the end we got the pitch we wanted, thank you very much for that. The site itself is great, in a great location on a beautifully landscaped bay. Everything is very well-kept. It's not too big, even in high season you didn't get the impression it was too crowded. In the two small swimming pools there were free sun loungers at all times (free of charge). We had a great view of the sea from our terrace spot in the upper area. But be careful. Near the upper wash house, it gets very loud every day from 6:50 am onwards due to garbage collection and various delivery traffic, which rush in forwards and then reverse out again with beeps. You have to get through that. We are considering coming back next year because the good things clearly outweigh the bad!

Unfortunately, the corona period was not used for maintenance here. Weeds grow between the buildings without restriction and screws in outdoor showers are rusting. Tiles in the outer plinth area are falling off and 'janitors' are out in pairs in the morning with a petrol-powered leaf blower. One supports the leaf blower, the other makes sure that sleeping in and eating breakfast in peace and quiet are a thing of the past. Once you've done both, you go for a coffee yourself with an unused broom. Two normal brooms and a little diligence, or a modern battery-powered leaf blower, would be a solvable task and would do more justice to the '5 stars'. Otherwise it was great to spend 2 weeks here again. Now we are moving on to the mainland. With prices of around 100 euros for 1 motorhome and 2 people per day, we would like to see a few small improvements, including the quality of the food at Oliva and the little things mentioned.

More appearance than reality
We were in the high season for 2 weeks on this campsite of the Valamar group.The check-in was unfortunately very slow,the staff were sometimes overwhelmed with the arriving guests.The first pitch assigned to us did not work at all,much too small,although we had already indicated the size of our caravan... when booking.Could then move to another pitch.The pitches are unfortunately quite littered with burrs,which settle everywhere.
Since these burrs immediately get stuck in the dog's fur, constant grooming was a must, so perhaps a solution should be found for the sake of the dogs!
The sanitary buildings look chic at first glance, but the cleaning was very poor.we saw cleaning ladies max.2-3 times in 2 weeks,we are used to this differently from other campsites,especially since the Valamar Group advertises exemplary hygiene on its homepage.the food in the Olivia restaurant was okay.the advertised teen animation unfortunately only took place very sporadically although stated in the app.the animation team for the teens seemed rather bored and had more to do with their smartphones than to do their work.
All in all, this campsite does not deserve 5 stars and is more in the 3 star range.
We will not be visiting this campsite again!

Perfect place
We stayed here for 8 nights at the end of August with our caravan and 2 children (aged 5 & 8).
The pitches are all very well maintained, the ground is finely gravelled which perhaps doesn't make it quite as comfortable for tents.
Despite the size of the site, everything we needed was easily and quickly... accessible on foot, although there are some steep steps or steep paths to negotiate.
The sun loungers and parasols on the beach and in the pool area were plentiful and free of charge.

The sanitary facilities were extremely clean and modern. You could see several ladies cleaning throughout the day, not just superficially but really scrubbing and cleaning properly. We have never experienced this on any other campsite before.

The pool area is not large, but was so extensive for our kids that there was never a dull moment.
The piazza and the restaurant area with - due to corona - unfortunately little evening program is great.
The Oliva restaurant served very tasty pizzas and grilled dishes - including fresh fish. The whole thing was served by very friendly staff.

The pebble beach was clean and large enough not to have to get in close contact with other guests, a separate dog beach and a nudist area are a few meters away from the main beach.
The shopping facilities are not large and "in the dark back room", but there is enough to be able to provide for yourself without effort.

The place is certainly not cheap, but in our opinion the price-performance ratio is good and if we go to Krk again we will visit this place again.
