The indoor pool is great, unfortunately... a bit poorly cleaned (hair everywhere)
Unfortunately the lady who works in the store in the morning is quite nasty. So better not send children to get bread rolls.

- Kathrin F.October 2024Positive- Good starting point for excursions in the Upper Black Forest - great little place - great and tasty brewery - Great playground for children - Small but adequate indoor pool - Horses and chickens on the farmNegativ- Partly a bit outdated, but everything is still in good condition - Bread roll service could be improved: missing bread rolls due to delivery by the bakerStay during the fall vacations 2024We stayed at the campsite with our two children (10 and 7) and our little dog during the fall break. We received a friendly welcome and were able to go straight to our pitch. The site is well maintained and offers a lot, such as a large playground, barbecue area, animals on the farm, such as horses,... chickens and cattle, a small store with the essentials, a small indoor swimming pool and its own brewery and two restaurants. The inn was closed due to company vacations, but the brewery was open. Very important: make a reservation! The restaurant is very popular and rightly so, the food and service are great! You are in a great location with nearby excursion destinations, such as the Rhine Falls, Feldberg, etc. You can use the "Bähnles-Radweg" cycle path directly from the campsite. This also offers a lot to see. The sanitary facilities were clean. Of course, due to the time of year, the floor was sometimes a bit dirty with leaves or mud. But you can't clean 24 hours a day.
It's a shame that you still have to pay for the storm and the sauna. Perhaps these costs can be included in the price of the room in future or simply included ☺️ It would be desirable to expand the bread roll service. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the orders so that so little was always delivered by the bakery. Maybe order more and just let the visitors buy it?
To sum up, we can recommend the campsite and will be back again. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The Brauereigasthof offers delicious food at a decent price with good service. The beer is very tasty.
There is something for every weather, so you can easily spend a vacation there with children at any time of the year.

After a day of hiking, you had to hurry to be able to jump into the water with the children.Perfect all roundWe spent a long weekend here with two adults and two children (aged 9 & 13) and our dog. The days were rainy, but that didn't dampen our spirits, because the campsite is ideally located for short and long hikes, there is a great café in the village with Black Forest specialties, and there are two restaurants... right next to the campsite. There is a bus stop within 500 m of the campsite, which can take you to other destinations. However, we walked directly to the village and used the bus connections there. Free of charge thanks to the Konus card (except for the dog)!
The site is not too big and was popular with several groups of families who were on vacation together this weekend. The atmosphere was correspondingly good.
