- Helmut V.August 2023PositiveVery clean sanitary facilities, great swimming pool that is also open late (9 pm) so that you can relax again after a long drive or excursions, snacks inexpensive and good, very good pizza, nice central covered meeting point with bar, library, games collection, ideal for campers when it rainsNegativThe sanitary facilities are really clean and tidy, but the ravages of time have gnawed at the buildings, store too expensiveFamily campsite with very friendly staff, also suitable for tentsIdeal starting point for the castles of the Loire
Very clean sanitary facilities, nice swimming pool until 9 pm, some very large pitches, also suitable for longer stays, store sufficient but expensive.
Improvements compared to 2016:
Snacks reasonably priced and good, very good pizza
Excellent WLAN, 2 access points/pitch, 72 Mbit/sAutomatisk oversat. - Martin H.May 2022PositiveLarge pitches, free choice, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful swimming pool area, bread service, German-speaking reception,NegativNoneVery nice family-run CP, large pitches, very friendlyHighly recommended: very large pitches, sunny or shaded, clean sanitary facilities, friendly operators, you can cycle into the city center and also to Villandry Castle.... Of course also to many other castles of the Loire. Quiet location in a residential area, supermarket can be reached by bike.Automatisk oversat.
- Petra G.July 2020PositivePeace and quiet. Very well maintained. Owner-managed. Warm and very friendly.NegativWe didn't notice anything negative.Nice, well-kept campsite, very friendly.Very warm welcome. Well-kept facility. The sanitary facilities are older, but super clean. We only used the site as a stopover on our trip.Automatisk oversat.
- Steffi und Christian L.June 2019PositiveQuiet, clean, tour is easily accessible. Value for moneySmall but niceWe visited this family-run campsite as a stopover on the way to Porto. The reception is very friendly. They also speak a little German. The site is very well maintained and in top condition. The sanitary facilities are absolutely clean. If you want to enjoy some peace and quiet, this is the place for... you. There is a small store for the essentials and a snack bar (pizza, chips) for those with a small appetite. The site is loosely parceled out with a grassy surface. There is shade and sun. There is a heated swimming pool. The town of Tour can be reached by bike in 20 minutes on very well-developed cycle paths. Tour is generally very bike-friendly. The entire old town can be easily explored by e-scooter or bike. It is well worth it.Automatisk oversat.
- Udo E.July 2018PositiveLocationNegativnoneVery good CPWe used the campsite for our transit to the south of France. Everything was fine.Automatisk oversat.
- RN B.July 2017PositiveFriendly, well located. Beautiful surroundingsUsed as a place to stay overnight when passing throughVery friendly staff at reception. The site is beautifully situated. Although we were only there for one night, we felt very comfortable.Automatisk oversat.
- Fokko H.June 2017Positivebeautiful site overall, nice shady pitches, good sanitary facilities; shopping facilities on sitevery nice place with a lot of peace and quiet and a nice swimming poolMany beautiful pitches available, from 'right by the forest' to 'right by the pool'; good infrastructure. The pitches are divided by small hedges and most of them are shaded by trees. The pool area is very beautiful and inviting, the sanitary facilities are good. The peace and quiet on the site was impressive,... no road noise, no other noises, even the guests on the site seemed to keep to the peace and quiet ... Only occasionally did you hear 'animal' noises from the neighboring zoo. Unfortunately, we were only here on a stopover, but would have liked to stay longer.Automatisk oversat.

- Alfred G.June 2016PositiveClose to Tours, you can get everything you need on the site.NegativPoor signage on the access road from the north.Good place, a little difficult to findWe came from Tours and drove along the Loire. There is no signposting. We had to turn on the sat nav at the end. Nice place with a few attractions. Good store and wine tastings from time to time.Automatisk oversat.
- Paul G.August 2015PositivePoolQuiet place, great poolWe (2 adults, 3 children 0-4) stayed for a week in our tent. As it was low season, we had enough space, otherwise the pitches are rather small. The pool area is suitable for guests of all ages (including small children). There is a small, inexpensive bistro with baguettes in the morning and pizza in... the evening. The staff are very friendly. The place has a family feel. The sanitary facilities were sufficiently clean and modern. Hot water for showers was free of charge. The campsite is a good starting point for day trips to various castles. We were most impressed by Villandry.Automatisk oversat.
- Jürgen Z.August 2015PositiveQuiet, well-kept, functional site, friendly staff. Reasonably priced with ACSI-CardNegativWiFi with costsWell located for visiting castles and toursThe site is located in a small wood on the edge of a "dormitory town" of Tours. Tours and the castles in the surrounding area are easy to reach. However, apart from a nice restaurant at the leisure park opposite, there is little to do without a car. However, the basic facilities on the campsite are sufficient.... I didn't find out what water sports facilities are available on the nearby lake for travelers (and non-club members)... The site is well maintained, has spacious pitches and functional, clean sanitary facilities. The staff were very friendly.Automatisk oversat.
- Birgit 5.July 2014PositiveCentrally located and yet very quietIdeal starting point for castle toursQuiet campsite with very friendly staff. The site is wonderful for visiting both Tours and the castles of the Loire.Automatisk oversat.
- Heike H.September 2013Beautiful, well-kept, recommendable campsite, parceled out pitches of various sizes, very friendly operators, three swimming pools (covered and heated/outdoor and unheated/small children's pool). Small store, baguette sales (baked frozen goods) from 17.00 fries can be ordered, from 18.00 pizza (not particularly... tasty). The campsite is 3 km from the Loire cycle path. Tours and Villandry (both approx. 11 km) are easy to reach by bike. The campsite offers WiFi for 3 euros a day or 12 euros a week (but the quality is not great, the signal fluctuates greatly)Automatisk oversat.
- Alfons L.May 2012Friendly and courteous owners, toilets and showers of French standard, shared use for men and women, swimming pool, opposite a small animal park for children, good starting point for castles around Tours, Tours itself is worth a visit. The planned 3 nights turned into 5, we would be happy to stay again.Automatisk oversat.
- Ladislav D.July 2011A little bit hard to find. Good location for trips in Loire Valley, I suggest to stay for more nights.Automatisk oversat.
