- Michael G.July 2023PositiveLocation.NegativWas there noGreat vacation with a view of the mountainsWe were lucky enough to stay in one of the beautiful panoramic mountain huts. These are very comfortably furnished with everything you need for a vacation. The hosts have outdone themselves with great attention to detail and the accommodation is perfectly located for hiking in the mountains or exploring... the surrounding area by bike. And the campsite's restaurant also caters for your physical well-being. This was our first vacation at the campsite, but certainly not our last.Automatisk oversat.
- D. C.June 2023PositiveLocation with a view of the mountains, facilities, especially the sanitary facilities, friendliness, mountain railroad 10 min. walk, cycle path in front of the door, great restaurantNegativSize of the pitches is absolutely not appropriate for the equipment & priceA mixture of pitch and campsite in a dream locationLocated on a former farm, this site with its 24 pitches is a mixture of pitch and campsite. The pitches on fine gravel are aligned in 4 rows "like a parking lot", i.e. straight, and only offer space for the camper van itself and the extended awning - so the space is exhausted. When fully occupied, you... are looking directly (2m) at the next car! Each pitch has electricity and water connections, all V/E is properly installed. There is a narrow hedge planted to the neighboring row. The sanitary facilities, with 8 "bathrooms", you have to call it that, are among the best I have seen in the pitch/camping landscape so far. Tasteful, modern and plenty of space! The toilets, dishwashing room, washing machine/dryer, a very nice lounge with drinks fridge, coffee machine etc. are also absolutely great. You can park your bikes in a separate room. There is a bread roll service 5 days a week. The supermarket is only 5 minutes away by bike. There is a very good WLAN, there is no 4G/5G reception, max. phone calls are possible.
The owners are extremely friendly and happy to help. You really feel welcome. Hiking and cycling tours directly from the site.
The farm also has a restaurant with a beer garden with good food at reasonable prices and a fantastic view of the mountains - not a "camping hut" :)
Electricity is charged at 0.80€/KWh. The costs for a camper van with 2 people including the usual, rather economical electricity consumption are approx. 39€ per night plus visitor's tax (bus & train free, mountain railroads not).
The overall impression of the site is ambivalent: facilities, sanitary, location, friendliness = TOP! Space for the Womo & its privacy/coziness = FLOP!
We are happy to pay higher prices, but the personal space is too "pitch-like" for that. Everything else is absolutely TOP! Everyone has to decide for themselves what is important to them...Automatisk oversat. - Wolfgang H.April 2023PositiveWell-maintained and modern sanitary facilities; competent and friendly staffNegativNonePitch at star levelIf you want to look for the "fly in the ointment" here, you have to search for a very long time. I have not found it. If you are willing to pay the slightly higher price, you will be offered a pitch at star level, with very friendly and competent staff and well-maintained, high-quality sanitary facilities....
At a price of €28, electricity is charged by card according to consumption. The restaurant on site is closed on Wednesdays. The Italian restaurant "Luna Pina", approx. 800 m away, is highly recommended as an alternative.Automatisk oversat. - G. B.September 2021PositiveClose to the cable car in Lenggries, where one ride per person is free if you stay two nights at the campsite.NegativNo waiting area for arriving vehicles Womo unloading and supply station in the area of the entrance to the site No control or organization of arrival and departureMore appearance than realityThe Bergcamping Lenggries is located near the valley station of the mountain railroad in Lenggries on the valley floor at about 700 meters above sea level. For me, a campsite should have a certain horticultural design of the entire facility, including the pitches and a clear visual separation of the... pitches by plants, which is completely missing at the Bergcamping Lenggries, which makes privacy impossible. I think the waste disposal station in the middle of the entrance is very unfortunate, especially as the entrance/exit are not regulated. When we arrived (Sunday morning) with several vehicles arriving and several vehicles leaving at the same time, it was very chaotic. Especially as there is no waiting strip. Dog stations are attached to the reception/sanitary building but are not marked, they are converted letterboxes! There is no dog shower. Due to the location of Bergcamping Lenggries, there are several options for walking your dog.
Apart from the bread roll service and a drinks fridge, there are no supply options directly on site. However, an EDEKA supermarket is just a few hundred meters away, as is the Lenggries mountain railroad. The hiking opportunities in the valley on both sides of the Isar and on the mountains are very good.
The sanitary facilities are very good and beautiful, were always clean, the ratio of 24 pitches to eight bathrooms, several of which have a toilet.
The facilities at Bergcamping Lenggries with dishwashers are rather poor, as there is only one on the campsite!
The restaurant on the campsite is interestingly designed, the staff are professionally friendly, but not as friendly as the ladies from the campsite administration. The food in the restaurant is good, but much more expensive compared to the surrounding mountain huts!
Back to the site, in our opinion the Bergcamping Lenggries campsite is a motorhome site where caravans are also allowed.Automatisk oversat. - Martina O.September 2021PositiveThe contact was uncomplicated and very friendly right from the startNegativSome of the pitches are very muddy when it rains, more gravel or paving stones would be great.Beautiful place with great attention to detailWe felt very comfortable. The staff are always very friendly and always have an open ear.
The campsite is very nice and the sanitary facilities are absolutely fantastic.
You can buy hot or cold drinks in the lounge.
The proximity to Brauneck is legendary.
The only small criticism is that it is very muddy... on some pitches when it rains and you drag the dirt into the motorhome. Adding more gravel here and there would help. A paved area on each pitch would be even nicer.
All in all, we were more than satisfied and had a very good rest.
We will definitely be back!Automatisk oversat. - Andreas H.July 2021Positive- clearly laid out campsite - great sanitary facilities - nice starting point for starts (hiking / cycling) - guest card+ "super"Negativ- Few play options for children on siteFamily with children and dogWe received a friendly welcome at the campsite. We received the guest card+ and important information about Lenggries.
We were able to reach the pitch easily and it was very well developed, so we didn't need to do much to the motorhome.
The sanitary building was great, always clean and well maintained....
There is a bread roll service on the site itself, except on Sundays and public holidays. However, a supermarket can be reached very quickly by bike.
There were many starting points for hikes and bike tours.
There is a restaurant on site which we can highly recommend.
The only thing we didn't like about the campsite was that there were no facilities for playing in bad weather. But thanks to the guest card we had a few options in Lenggries.Automatisk oversat. - Patricia M.June 2021PositiveFantastic locationNegativ"None"Simply pure relaxationIt's simply brilliant here.
We have a chalet and you can only say "mega"
about it.
We would recommend it 100%.

- Antje G.September 2020PositiveVery friendly staff, modern and very clean sanitary facilitiesNegativNoneSmall fine campsiteA very nice little campsite. The staff are very friendly and nice. There is a restaurant with good food (we had both dinner and breakfast service). The restaurant staff was also very friendly, but a bit disorganized (allow some time ;)).
The sanitary facilities are super modern and very clean. The baby... changing room was practical (a stool and diaper pail or larger pail could be added).
The pitches are very small. If the neighbor is not exactly on his place it will be tight with an awning or similar.
Overall, we liked it very much and would book there again at any time :)Automatisk oversat. - Schmidt F.August 2020PositiveEverythingNegativFor Wowa with car and awning possibly somewhat small pitchesTop place in fantastic surroundingsEverything-- highlighted the sanitary building and the restaurant. - Annika M.July 2020PositiveCleanliness and hygiene Friendliness restaurant Mountain railroadNegativNothing.Super campsite! Very cleanThe small and very fine campsite is in a great location, the Brauneck cable car is just a 15-minute walk away. With the guest card we were able to use the ascent and descent once free of charge (cost saving of 22 euros per person!). Hiking enthusiasts get their money's worth here. Another 15-minute walk... in the other direction takes you to the Isar, where you can cycle along the Isar cycle path. Or you can visit the natural outdoor pool in Lenggries (free admission with the guest card).
The sanitary facilities at the campsite are far above standard in terms of cleanliness. You get the feeling that someone is cleaning non-stop. Everything is very new and well maintained.
The staff are very friendly.
For us, electricity at the pitch and enough free minutes for showering were included in the price, so the value for money was absolutely fine!
There is a great restaurant (Lahnerstubn) right next to the campsite, which is very comfortably furnished and where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and dinner :) There is also another good restaurant (Jaegers) next to the cable car.
If the individual pitches had a bit more space or were perhaps separated from each other by hedges or similar, that would certainly be an advantage. But that's just a small suggestion for improvement. In principle, there is nothing wrong with the pitches.Automatisk oversat. - Jens D.July 2020Positivequiet location, clean sanitary facilitiesNegativVery small pitches, no bread service on Sundays and public holidaysSmall, fine and still room for improvementThe check-in is also very smooth and friendly during Corona. Access is also possible for larger vehicles or caravans. The site is more for motorhomes than for caravans, the pitches are max. 5m wide. There are 29 pitches. After allocation of the pitch you have to activate the electricity with the service... card, electricity and water was directly at the pitch. The ground is stony and straight. There is little or no need to level out here. The sanitary facilities are super clean, you can tell that the site is not old. You need a service card to shower. There is no store and fresh bread rolls are only available Monday to Saturday. In our opinion, this site is very suitable as a stopover, but not for longer stays. There is no outdoor playground for children. The site has a small restaurant with a few seats.Automatisk oversat.

- I. D.May 2020PositiveCheck in after reception closing time very well thought out. It was cleaned after each use of the bathroom (in Corona times). In the Lahner Stubn there is delicious food at fair prices.NegativThe pitches are too small for campers with caravans.Place with a great locationChecking in after reception closed (6pm) was very straightforward. Documents were placed in a small safe.
The pitches are unfortunately much too small for caravans. We could not park our vehicle outside the pitch (when asked, we were told that the parking spaces belonged to the business). So we had to... decide whether our vehicle or awning had priority.
Sanitary facilities are new and very clean. Cleaning staff were always on site.
The location of the site is very nice, you can easily reach everything on foot or by bike.
There is a recreation room for guests with tents.Automatisk oversat. - Bernd S.October 2019PositiveSuper sanitary facilities.NegativnoneAutumn vacation on a super courseVery modern campsite. - Christian G.August 2019PositiveThe advantages of the guest card, such as free admission to the Isarwelle swimming pool makes many things even more interesting!A very friendly campsite! We came across this campsite by chance on the internet. - Zielke K.July 2019PositiveCleanliness, facilities, service, hospitality - all excellentNegativThe current two sinks are not sufficient; improvements could be made here.A TOP! CampsiteJuly 2019: From the reservation via the campsite website, to telephone inquiries and the warm welcome at reception, service is a top priority here and the vacation begins as soon as you arrive. The campsite, which opened in September 2018, offered us state-of-the-art camping. Our pitch C 24 consisted... of gravel and grass and was surrounded on two sides by an old hedge, providing protection from the sun in the early morning and late evening. The electricity and water connection was one pitch further on, but a short power cable was sufficient. Pitches C 21 to C 24 are the smallest on the site, but offer the best view of the Brauneck. However, they also offer enough space for caravans and awnings/awnings. Only the Caddy had to be parked on the way, but this was not a problem. The electricity column is activated via the (charged) CampCard (60 cents / kWh) and the water consumption (10 cents / minute) in the bathrooms (here also for the washbasin) is billed. The sanitary facilities were excellent and were cleaned morning and evening, toilet seat cleaning lotion, toilet paper, towels and soap were available and always replenished. Even washing-up liquid was available and never ran out. The modern toilet facilities were topped by the showers. In principle, these were "private shower rooms" without having to pay extra for them, some even with a toilet in the room. A total of six such bathrooms are available, three with toilets and one even with a window and mountain view, plus a disabled bathroom with baby changing facilities. For rainy days or tent campers, the recreation room offered a large table for eating as well as a drinks fridge with various drinks and a cash register. The scullery and laundry room had two sinks (which could be expanded a little), a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The bread roll service (from the local bakery Kellner) was great, fresh rolls and the like were on the pitch at 7.30 am. The reception also had lots of brochures for excursions. With the GästeCardPlus provided by the campsite, there were many discounts as well as free use of two summer toboggan runs (Jaudenfltzer in Lenggries-Wegscheid and Blombergbahn (Classic and Blitz near Bad Tölz, an ascent and descent with the Brauneckbahn and daily admission to the Isarwelle, the family and fun pool in Leggries. Plus discounts in local restaurants and a gift from the town. It was a great vacation at the foot of the Brauneck in the Isarwinkel, thank you!Automatisk oversat.
- Frank P.June 2019PositiveThe location, the sanitary facilities and the very friendly staffNegativNo demarcation of the individual spaces.Super nice placeWe stayed at the campsite for 3 nights and felt very comfortable. We received a very friendly welcome and the staff made everything possible. The sanitary facilities were perfect and always very clean. If we had to criticize anything, it would be the lack of markings or boundaries to the neighbors. We will definitely be back in December!Automatisk oversat.

Good starting point for sports enthusiasts.NegativI can't think of any🤔Simply beautiful...A beautiful campsite with great attention to detail. The sanitary facilities and the pitch are in top condition. The restaurant on the site, Lahnerstuben, offers a small but excellent menu.
