But the campsite was simply perfect: it has an indoor pool, a whole playhouse for children of different ages, well-equipped kitchens where you can also have breakfast and much more. The campsite also has great facilities for good weather, such as a playground with bouncy cushions and a football pitch and various boats and SUPs to hire. I also liked the family bathrooms with toilet, shower and washbasin in one room.NegativAs I don't like cooking, I found it a slight disadvantage that the nearest town was 2.5 km away. So it was a bit difficult to eat a varied meal without cooking.Ideal when the weather doesn't play ballAll in all, if you have a car available or like to cook for yourself, this is a highly recommended campsite, perfect if the weather doesn't play ball.Automatisk oversat.- R. On arrival, the site was fully booked and it was initially difficult to see exactly where the paths to drive on the meadow were.
Once you knew that and figured it out, it was easy to understand. We had a lovely long We here. We liked the wash house "on the mountain" much... better. It's more spacious and warm.
We were able to use the swimming pool and everything was great, the kids had fun there. There are permanent campers and vacation campers on the site, but no horrible allotments. All in all, we can say it's a well-kept site with a beautiful location on the fjord. The water stays shallow for a long time and it is a small bay. The panoramic pitches have a wonderful view of the water. What we found great was that the ball court was secured all around and NO balls flew through the caravans. The playground is not big, but has everything you need. There is also a really nice activity house, which is really well equipped. We have never experienced anything like it. The great location on the Flensburg Fjord with pitches right on the shore, quiet, a very good infrastructure, clear corona regulations, very good cleaning intervals, a good selection of bread rolls at "Købmand", surroundings worth seeing, cozy little towns and pretty cities.
The owners are always available and take good care of their guests. The arrival there was warm and the staff also speak very good German. The two days at this site were sufficient for us, as there is not so much to do here. The "sea" in the fjord looks more like a lake, the shallow water is ideal... for small children. The "playhouse" is unfortunately so remote that it was not attractive for our children. Only the sanitary building in the lower part of the site looks a little dated. Advantage: several family bathrooms! Disadvantage: As the pitch is mowed daily, guests drag tufts of grass into the... sani building. Our recommendation: enforce the obligatory change of shoes in front of the facilities! The beach is neither long nor wide, but the shallow water is child-friendly. You have to wade out about 50-60 meters before your belly button gets wet.Automatisk oversat.

Great scenery, lots to see in the surrounding area. Small supermarket on site (be careful: 1 bread roll costs about 1 euro, you need to know that), large supermarket 3km further on in Grasten. Great leisure activities... for our kids, great walks on the Gendarmenstieg with the dogs. We had a great rest. However: the lower sanitary building is not good at all. Definitely not 4 stars, it needs to be modernized very, very urgently, but some people are downright pigs, even the best cleaner can't counteract that. Var på pladsen i St.Bededagsferien, og på dette tidspunkt var der fjordudsigt fra stort set alle pladser (ændrer sig dog hvis fuldt belagt). Meget jævn, velholdt/nyklippet plads, med et skønt græstæppe. Som andre anmeldere skriver - de sanitære... installationer ikke de nyeste, men fine og rene. En dejlig rolig plads med en god atmosfære, og MEGET hundevenlig - gode luftemuligheder langs Gendarmstien, på begge sider af pladsen. Kan klart anbefales !

There are comparatively so many beautifully laid out campsites in Denmark that this one can in no way keep up. The caravans are simply parked on a meadow without hedges etc. Even worse, the motorhomes are in rows on slabs quite close... together. I just wonder where the lovingly landscaped garden is supposed to be. The campsite has a swimming pool, which many 3-star campsites also have. The lower sanitary building on the fjord is in urgent need of renovation. The campsite absolutely does not deserve 4 stars. We were very dissatisfied.Automatisk oversat.

The sanitary facilities are very clean and the entire campsite is very well maintained. There wasn't even any garbage on the ground during our visit. The other vacationers were very friendly. A very big star goes to the fact that dogs are allowed on the... site. It doesn't matter whether you are a family, a couple or a senior citizen, there is something for everyone. From the beautiful landscape to sporting activities. There is a lot to see in the immediate vicinity, but a trip to Flensburg is also possible in less than 30 minutes. It was my first vacation on a campsite like this and I can't stop raving about it because I was and still am very impressed. The small houses are in no way worn out or used up, everything is really very well maintained and exemplary!Automatisk oversat.

- Allan M.September 2010Rigtig hyggelig plads, med dejlig beliggenhed direkte ned til vandet. Pladsen er ren og nydelig. Der er gratis bad. De sanitære forhold er ikke de nyeste, men de er pæne rene og fungere optimalt.

Flotte sanitære muligheder oppe ved receptionen - man skal lige finde bygningen --- man tror i første omgang kun, der er et par små bygninger midt på pladsen. Men flot udsigt over vandet.
