Sanitary facilities very outdated. Beautiful location of the campsite. Staff not unfriendly but not overly friendly either. Power supply somewhat undersized when there are a lot of people on site.

Simple (but) good
The site is beautifully situated in a bay. There are good opportunities for swimming and boating. A great place to relax. Apart from the small kiosk, there is nothing on offer. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but still acceptable and above all clean. There is only one tap with hot water in... the kitchen. A bit awkward when washing up. There is no possibility to eat on rainy days. The tent and pitches directly on the water are without electricity, unless you have at least. 50 m cable with you.

We were here again after 5 years. This time we found the place exactly the same as last time. Great location, nice campers, nice operator, incredible location. One star deduction for the facilities. The toilets are very clean at all times, although they are getting on in years. Power supply is sometimes... difficult on the site. Some of the pitches are a bit uneven - a natural campsite. PS: The information about the strange tasting drinking water may be correct if you use the wrong tap. There is only one drinking water tap, and it tastes completely "normal" from it. No drinking water comes out of any of the other taps, but that's normal in Sweden.

Very rude staff, the price charged for renting a stuga did not match the posted price list - was twice as high; there was no reason for this, only flimsy arguments; were treated very rudely; the only thing nice here is the location; would not go there again

The surroundings of Ellös are very beautiful. Unfortunately, the crew at this campsite is very rude! You even have to pay for cooling elements. On other campsites in Sweden you are welcomed as a guest; unfortunately the atmosphere here is: earn money and make tourists pay for everything. We would never recommend this campsite again!
