Bente H.August 2024PositiveStore pladser. Ca 3 km til wittenberg centrum.NegativFøltes som fængsel - låst inde - næsten ingen mulighed for at få bil med ud fra pladsen. Kun på bestemte tidspunkter. Ingen mulighed for at købe brød eller drikke. Elendigt lys på toiletter, bad og der man tager opvask. . Yacht havn er nærmest ikke eksisterende. Betalte for 3 dage havde ikke de sidste 20 euro. Der var ingen problemer - vi kunne betale inden vi rejste. Vi rejste efter 2 dage. Fik ingen penge retur - ej heller ‘turist skat’ på 2 euro pr person pr dag, samt ekstra betaling for ‘müll’ . Der blev påstået at vi fik 10 euro rabat for 3. Dag og at vi manglede at betale 20 euro for 3. Dag. Så dersom vi kørte efter 2 dage, så var vi fri for at betale de sidste 20 euro….. Gad vide om turist skatten går til byen eller egen lomme…. Vi kommer aldrig tilbage (med mindre der kommer nye ejere til, som vil bruge indtægt på at opgradere stedet, så man kan køre ud når man ønsker på dagtid) Der må gerne også tændes for lys på bad og toilet og brusere….Fru BenteStort potentiale, men det virker som om ejere ikke ønsker at man kommer igen. Ingen service, låst inde som i et ‘fængsel’ eller en ‘anstalt’ Ingen mulighed for at købe drikke eller noget mad/snacks. Disturbing traffic noise....absolutely NOT recommended!!!If you like being a guest of an unfriendly and unmotivated couple, you certainly won't mind the totally exorbitant price of €40/night (two adults, one dog). For a single overnight stay, the price increases by a further €10. It was not possible to book without electricity. We were charged €5/day for the... dog, but this was not offset by any services (e.g. dog waste bags). We felt it was simply cheeky how subterranean the price/performance ratio of this place is.
You can only arrive after prior reservation, which must be made in writing in advance by e-mail. The unfriendly and snippy manner of the operator on the phone does not necessarily invite excessive anticipation.
As the gates were closed after our arrival, we only had the option of exploring the area on foot or by bike. However, a key was required to get in and out of the campsite, for which a deposit of €10 had to be paid in cash. The reception was only manned sporadically, if at all, so an unscheduled departure would not have been possible. You felt barracked or locked up.
The wash house could only be used to a limited extent, only two toilets and two showers were open in the ladies' area. There was no light, which made a wet shave in the twilight a unique adventure. Hot water was more of a statement of intent, as was the (non-existent) bread roll service. We found the traffic on the Elbe bridge, especially the rail traffic, very annoying.
All in all, this place is trying to generate maximum revenue without anything in return. However, friendliness and customer service appear to be too costly. The transformation from socialism to capitalism is definitely not yet complete in this case.

Vacationers with motorhomes without bicycles are locked up in the evening
- on arrival notification that the toilets are closed from 9 pm, after protests from holidaymakers they remained open, but without lighting in the anteroom, so that washing hands could only be done with a flashlight and that in Corona times
- Generally only 2 toilets open, giving the impression that they wanted to save on cleaning
- Showers and washing facilities completely closed from 9 pm
- Separate washbasins locked, only 2 public washbasins accessible, incomprehensible in Corona times
- Space barely lit
- Registration mostly unmanned
- Hotel seems deserted
- Cyclists' accommodation completely rotten
- No staff to be seen anywhere on the pitch
- you feel unwelcome
- if you stay near the registration in the evening to be in the WLAN, you are unfriendly observed or grumbled at by an older gentleman

Sanitary: Spacious, very clean. Excellent. The facilities are top. Quiet:... You have peace and quiet if the wind direction is right. Two nights were quite noisy due to the noise from the main road/railway line. Nice: Breakfast/dinner on the Elbe embankment. Only the ICE and freight train line can actually be heard. In the evening, the sanitary facilities were locked at around 9pm. There was a notice on the door stating that the facilities were closed due to a breakdown. My wife was denied access to the adjoining hotel and told... that she should go out into nature. However, it was not apparent that anything was being done to put an end to this unacceptable situation. The next day, the sanitary facilities were unlocked without water being available again. It was reminiscent of the old GDR times: if something was out then it was force majeure - which was also the answer to my question on my subsequent departure: "would they be willing to meet me with the price". We were given a €2.50 discount (W-Lan). We found this behavior more than outrageous. Especially as this place is quite expensive.Automatisk oversat.

After the first half hour at the station, I wanted to leave again. I was checked three times by the operator: was my license plate genuine? Did I really want to go on vacation or just park the camper van (it's actually very old) here?... I had the impression that they weren't welcoming guests here, but rather carrying out annoying administrative tasks! On the other hand, the site is kept clean and tidy. From 10 p.m. there is only poor emergency lighting in the sanitary facilities. Washing hands after using the toilet is not possible because this room is unlit. On the other hand: you can actually choose your own pitch! The showers are spotlessly clean and cost nothing extra. Bread rolls are delivered directly to your car in the morning if you order them in advance - but only if you manage to be back before 10 pm. Otherwise you have to park outside. Unfortunately, there is no other supply of food or drinks (except for a few drinks at reception, but only until 6pm!). Wittenberg is very easy to reach by bike. The city tour through Wittenberg can therefore be started very well from here. Sanitary facilities are modern and clean! The staff are friendly and helpful.
