S.August 2022Positive..NegativMy stay was unfortunately an absolute disappointment. Arrival The reception is a container where you are quickly checked in between two other customers without any privacy. There are no explanations about the pitch. You should just have a look at it. When asked where you could find your girlfriend, the answer was "unfortunately, I can't help you with that for data protection reasons". The accommodation I would have loved to leave straight away. The prospect of spending a week in this tiny "barrel" standing in impassable, dusty terrain took my breath away for a moment. After several unsuccessful calls to the container reception with an urgent request to change my booking (although I didn't get the feeling that they took my request seriously and really wanted to help me), I gave up. The barrel was very hot in the evening, so it was impossible to fall asleep without a draught. Due to the coolness in the morning, I was freezing in the morning. Going to the toilet was like an obstacle course à la Takeshi's Castle. I didn't sleep at all the first night and now, after the journey home, I've caught a proper cold due to the unfavorable change in temperature. The campsite The ground and the paths were dusty in my opinion, partly impassable and partly asphalted, which made it feel a bit like camping on the road. Cars were constantly driving and could be parked anywhere, which unfortunately ruined the "natural camping" atmosphere. For me and my girlfriend, however, the most bizarre and worst thing about this site was the hundreds of permanent camper "villas". With their huge roofed caravan and tent constructions, they simply look ugly and have lost any spirit of camping and distorted it into the absurd. In order to spend time in nature, "permanent campers" provide themselves with the comforts of home: with kitchen, bathroom, terrace, roof + carport (usually made of unsightly white foil that will disintegrate into microplastics in the foreseeable future) and front garden. Several square meters of forest are covered in this way. This dries out the soil considerably and a nourishing, fragrant layer of forest soil and humus can never form again. I didn't have the feeling of being in nature. It was more of a mix of allotment garden flair and ghost town (most of the "villas" were empty). The same picture on the shore: private, enclosed jetties - terrible! The bathing spots That's about it. Nice is different. The benches are a bit rotten, the sand could be filled in and the lawn is a disaster. The reeds should be cut back. The gastronomy I can only laugh here. The snack bar at the entrance doesn't just look overstuffed, it closes its doors in a huff if a guest dares to complain about waiting times. The "restaurant" is a dusty place with a drinks trolley serving as a bar and cash desk and a wooden stall serving frozen pizzas and sausages. The service at the bar was subterranean. The only highlight here: Marion!!! Among all the "it doesn't work blah blah blah" ducks I met on the campsite, she is an eagle here. If you're not familiar with the terms, I recommend searching online for "duck+eagle+Bodo Schäfer". Departure Back in the container. You hand in your key and that's it. No questions - perhaps in this case only for me, because the "duck" behind the desk realized from the look on my face that this would not be pleasant for her. ...more see comment...First stay at the campsite at Springsee in the week from 07.08. toConclusion for me

But criticism should be constructive, so I'd like to make a few suggestions for improvement:
Could you protect the forest floor by paving instead of asphalting and creating beautiful wooden paths to all accommodation and public facilities? If possible, these paths should... not be left. Protective mosses and grasses can then grow outside the paths. Cars should be parked outside and only be allowed on the site for loading and unloading.
Could you give notice to most of the permanent campers or make them reduce their facilities to a minimum and ban private jetties?
Could you make the bathing areas more attractive?
Could the garbage cans be better placed, e.g. in a house?
And last but not least: Is it possible to train a can-do attitude among the largely duck staff? Marion is a good role model here!

After we bought everything 25 km further because the store on the square sells a lot of alcohol everything else ehr mässig you had to drive so far we cleaned everything ourselves ..unfortunately I didn't get 30 euros for final cleaning that you have to pay there. then on the phone they said Wlan is on the square..yes if you pay 10 euros per device for a week..and because it only works at certain points on the square but not where you need it. TV was always on in the afternoon in the house, in the evening when you were there of course not. It came good weather around noon my son wanted to go with girlfriend pedal boat belonging to the place ... but was also immediately whistled that it is only one hour because at 16 o'clock reception closes ... he asked if he could pay more to stay a little longer on the lake and he gave keys in the mailbox ... But also there although you asked nicely etc no discussion from the lady on site. I must say the lake is beautiful the area too ..I like camping for 40 years but this unfriendliness of the staff and the absolute uncleanliness in the cottage were incomprehensible .... When we left no one looked into the house, no key was taken no goodbye until next time nothing. Every new guest... is shown the way to the vacation home on arrival and is also given a map of the site.
The WLAN is offered by an external company, as we unfortunately cannot be connected to the public telephone network. Therefore a 100% coverage of the 21ha area is not possible.
The water scooter was rented by you until 3.30 pm, a longer rental period would have been possible if you had contacted us.

The location is very idyllic, right on the lake, in the forest. Hiking and cycling trails start from the campsite. Boats, kayaks and SUP can be hired. Otherwise, the campsite is quite far away from the nearest town, which should be... taken into account when it comes to catering. The reception has the essentials. The restaurant on the campsite is well suited to people who can tolerate Berliner Schnauze. The food was good, but you should stick to the kitchen times. If you arrive too late, Moni will punish you...;-)). The sanitary facilities are not up to date and unfortunately not well maintained. In addition, one block was completely closed due to a breakdown. The big plus on the site is the dog-friendliness. The car is parked on site. There is a restaurant, a snack bar and an extra dog bathing area. Due to the very extensive grounds, however, the way to the sanitary facilities is sometimes... quite long. We received a friendly welcome at reception and were offered two pitches. They also sell bread rolls and all sorts of things for everyday camping. Most of the paths and pitches are unpaved, as befits a nature campsite. - Why did it still not get three stars? Unfortunately, the pet-free bathing area is often used by dog lovers who don't even put their pets on a lead. There is no control. We even observed dogs walking across the sunbathing lawn in the morning. Some people suffer from allergies or are simply afraid of dogs. Pure nature.NegativWe couldn't find any.We come back every year!We spent our vacation here at Springsee in June 2016. Motivated by the good reviews here at Camping.info, we booked a week of nature camping. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and were given a briefing about the site. The permanent campers were helpful and gave us valuable tips. On the very first... day, we cycled around the entire site several times and realized that it was a great place to get some exercise. For cyclists and joggers, the terrain offers many paths and roads to explore. The lake is very idyllic and beautiful. The beach is covered with sand and the water is quite clean. This lake is also highly recommended for anglers, in the evening the fish jump like crazy. The store at the entrance has everything you need for camping and fresh bread rolls are available every morning. A shower token costs €1.00 and lasts for 4 minutes, which was acceptable for us. The very clean sanitary facilities deserve special mention. We have never seen such clean toilets and showers at any other campsite. High praise to the staff. Only the barrier at the entrance did not accept our card several times. However, there was always a friendly member of staff on site to help us. The town of Storkow is about 20 km away. There are many stores here, including Netto, Aldi, Lidl, Kik and so on. If you drive a little further, you will find the Müggelpark in Gosen. This is a great place to go shopping with the family. The food at the campsite is excellent. The food is fresh and very tasty. We really enjoyed our vacation at Springsee and will definitely be back. By the way: With D1 you have good reception on site and internet in the LTE range. 2018: This year we spent our camping vacation at a different campsite during the high season because we love variety. Nevertheless, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to come to Springsee again. And what can I say? The weather was wonderful, we went swimming in 14 degree water, which was also great. Unfortunately, Marion's restaurant was closed, but we would have loved to go there for a delicious meal. The staff were, as always, very friendly and helpful. We were only able to check in after the reception desk closed (around 4.30pm) due to a change in duty roster, but this proved to be no obstacle at all. We called in good time and so we arrived at our pitch, where the electricity connection was already ready. A big thank you to the Springsee team for the uncomplicated handling. We liked it so much that we extended our stay for another day. As the campsite is still very popular and our pitch was still booked for the regular departure day, we were allocated a different, but also very nice, pitch. The effort of dismantling and reassembling was worth it to us to be able to stay an extra day. We feel very comfortable at Springsee and will definitely be back. It was very enjoyable for everyone. The grandparents were able to relax by the water, dad went fishing, mom was out with the dog and the child could choose where he wanted to go. The snack bar and... the forest restaurant on the premises mean that you are well catered for if you don't want to stand at the stove every day. If the weather plays along, there are also lots of things to do on and around the water to pass the time. It is a wonderful vacation destination for walking and enjoying nature. There are 2 playgrounds for the children and if that's not enough, you can go to Storkow to Irrlandia. A huge playground with giant slides, bouncy castle, several trampolines/water bouncy cushions and a maze and climbing park. In the morning there were fresh bread rolls and everything else you need was available in the small shop at reception, where the staff... are very friendly, accommodating and competent and have an open ear for everything, and can also recommend excursion destinations. The groundsmen were also helpful. There is a restaurant on the site, as well as a snack bar. The sanitary facilities were cleaned daily and were clean. Our dog could really let off steam in the dog run and go swimming on the dog beach. My husband was able to fish successfully. Our grandson was able to ride his bike without disturbing anyone. So we were all taken care of and had a really good rest. We have already booked again for next year. The hidden location in the pine forest is a real insider tip.Automatisk oversat.

Ancient sanitary blocks, dirty, moldy and, depending on the mood of the day, unfriendly staff. Comfort pitches that are anything but, but they have nothing to do with comfort. At the end of this horror on this site, we were also simply ripped... off with the electricity costs and our complaints were ignored, most recently I was insulted by the operator by email. Drunk and rowdy guests are tolerated here, the staff is overwhelmed with them and you have to call the police yourself as a guest, according to the staff. There is hardly any dog-friendliness, a small dog beach and a dog run, which is far away from the actual site, namely with the permanent campers. Payment must be made immediately, after several written requests we only received a partial refund. The electricity consumption of our pitches is billed separately using calibrated meters.
We take our guests' complaints very seriously, and we have also taken action in this case several... times.
Dog-friendliness is very important to us. Our dog run is over 5000 square meters in size and is located at the edge of the campsite. The peace and quiet is really valuable! Lots of opportunities to hike with our dogs, cycling opportunities en mass, swimming, boating.... The dog run was very practical for our big gang, the filming from RBB was an accidental highlight. We were even able to... stock up on new barf food before continuing our journey. The only drawback: the nearest shopping facility is ~20km away, so logistically it just needs to be better planned. And - the access road is an imposition ;)Automatisk oversat.
