- Andreas V.August 2023PositiveLocation, bus 250 to Oslo directly in front of the site.Negativ- Sanitary facilities unkempt - Pitches for campers possibly ok if you are lucky (in front of the water) -Pitches not ok, if you are "unlucky": directly in front of a large ventilation system and view of the garbage containers - Booking system meaningless, I was shown a pitch by the water and stood in front of the ventilation system (quite loud! all night) - Showering costs etxra - WLAN unstable and often breaks off, fluctuating signal strengthlovelessnot a really good price-performance ratio. There are much better places in the area. If you want to go to Oslo: camp away from the city, take the camper close to the 250 bus route, look for a parking lot outside Oslo... is the better choice!
There is another campsite that faces the water, nicely situated...Automatisk oversat. - Ulrich M.June 2017PositiveBeautiful location on the Oslofjord - great sanitary facilitiesNegativFew tourist pitches with electric hook-upLarge square on the beautiful OslofjordReception was unfortunately only manned on our departure - so we could only partially use the great sanitary facilities (showers only possible with special poulets). This was of course due to the fact that the season had just ended. The flat pitches that can be used by tourists are rare. The site is... mostly used by permanent campers, which is understandable given its location in the Oslo conurbation. Addendum June 2017: We were not offered a pitch with electricity - tip: ask what is available before you arrive!Automatisk oversat.
- Bernhard K.June 2016PositiveTourist pitches with a fantastic location on the Oslofjord. Bus connection to Oslo. Spacious sanitary facilities.NegativNo pitch partitioning. No W-Lan.Quiet alternative for Oslo visitsWonderfully quiet site on the Oslofjord. Mainly permanent campers. However, the few tourist pitches by the water get very full at weekends (and probably also in the season). As there are no pitch partitions, it can be the case that your neighbor is practically on your doorstep and it can get a bit noisy.... The sanitary facilities consist of several complete bathrooms with shower, washbasin and toilet. Unfortunately, the waste garbage cans are quickly overflowing with paper towels. Small store with very good baked goods. There was no Wi-Fi during our visit. Good bus connection directly from the square to Oslo. Tickets are very expensive on the bus, so it is advisable to buy 24-hour tickets at the "Ruter" center at Oslo station (discount for seniors!). PS: Good advice. Keep the receipt. After our return we received a reminder for the invoice amount of the stay, although we had paid the amount on site by credit card. The reminder was only canceled after we sent in the receipt!Automatisk oversat.
- Kurt W.June 2016PositiveQuiet, public transport, very nice location, water sports facilitiesNegativfew tourist places, in the high season you probably have to callAlmost too good to just go on excursionsBeautiful location of the few tourist pitches directly on the Oslofjord. The site and facilities are clean and well maintained. Bus to Oslo city center directly at the campsite entrance, journey approx. 1 hour for 36 KR (pensioners). Small, well-stocked camping store. Again and again!Automatisk oversat.
- sascha D.April 2016PositiveLocation close to Oslo, very friendly.Very nice operators...As Oslo seemed too crowded for the Fendtiii, we decided to stay at Ramton Camping a little further out. So much for the hospitality of the Norwegians: although the campsite was being renovated and had not yet "officially" opened, we were warmly welcomed for one night. From there, we went into Oslo without... the snail shell and had a wonderful day there, including at the castle and in the city center. We didn't use the sanitary facilities etc. because the campsite was actually closed.Automatisk oversat.
- Holger R.July 2015PositiveVery clean, great location on the Oslofjord, ideal for visiting OsloNegativIs there noGreat place for a visit to OsloVery nice, clean site in an ideal location for visiting Oslo (accessible by bus). State-of-the-art sanitary facilities, very clean and well maintained. Great location directly on the Oslo fjord.Automatisk oversat.
- Nicole P.June 2015PositiveFriendly, clean, view, close to the cityNegativ%Close to the city in a quiet, very friendly placeVery friendly staff, quick contact with the permanent campers possible, with a magnificent view over the Oslo Fjord.Automatisk oversat.
- Michael H.August 2014PositiveWonderful location Clean sanitary facilitiesNegativMany permanent campers Only a few pitches and tent sitesA good alternative to the Oslo campsites.Beautifully situated on the Oslofjord, wonderful view of the fjord and the passing ferries. Sanitary facilities are in very good condition and clean. Single shower and washroom. Friendly staff. Despite its distance of 40 km from Oslo, an alternative to the very "dingy" city campsites. After a busy day... in the city, the children can swim in the evening and adults can enjoy the view. Unfortunately, there are only a small number of pitches and tent sites, which are often full in the high season.Automatisk oversat.
- Met N.June 2013Ideal for ferry users from Oslo. Very large and full campsite, but well maintained. Good restaurant down by the fjord. Modern and clean sanitary facilities, including large family showers with WC. Friendly reception; few pitches for motorhomes, I was allowed to stand down by the water, great view over the fjord! And unfortunately I also noticed that the grassy area intended for tents is used as a dog toilet.Automatisk oversat.
- Beate L.August 2012Idyllically situated on the Oslofjord with a view of Oslo; wonderful for swimming in the fjord; space for small tents right by the water - the only unpleasant thing was that dog owners also promenaded here and didn't always pick up their droppings...Automatisk oversat.
- Jo V.September 2011For Oslo the price is certainly ok, but you have to drive the 30km in... Due to the low season we were allowed to camp directly on the beach, which was very nice! Only the (very decent) sanitary facilities were also very far away...Automatisk oversat.
- Karsten L.July 2011The site is located directly on the Oslofjord, ideal before or directly after the ferry. Many permanent pitches, there are very nice pitches for tents, but only a few for motorhomes directly on the shore with a beautiful view. Large store, exemplary sanitary facilities, new kitchen with industrial dishwasher. Price for camper van incl. 5 people: NOK 270 incl. 2 shower tokens.Automatisk oversat.
