New square near Glasgow
This new site in the middle of an extremely well-kept vacation residence that is still under construction is easy to find and impresses not only with the friendliness of the staff and its cleanliness, but also with its convenient train connection to Glasgow: 15 minutes' walk to the train station/stop... "Stepps", a quarter of an hour's journey every half hour. The barbecue stations on the site, where you can barbecue standing up, are interesting. The camping facilities are also great.

Overpriced rates, ridiculously small washbasins and showers, music blasting 24 hours a day, not useful, especially for washing up.
Good for visiting Glasgow
The upper pitches are very good, the camp is very quiet, the toilets are much too small, but locked and properly cleaned. The dogs, on the other hand, are pretty average: their owners go all around the camp to relieve themselves!

Campsite in the suburb of Stepps
The campsite, also known as "Craigendmuir Park", is located at the end of a residential area. The spacious driveway cannot be overlooked. The largest area of the campsite is occupied by senior residences. At the edge are the pitches for mobile homes, with their own reception. If there is no groundsman... to be found, you can contact him free of charge using the telephone at the side of the reception. The campsite has been recently renovated. The gravelled pitches, which remain dry even when it rains, make a very well-kept impression. From here you have a view of the town and mountains in the background. The sanitary facilities have also been newly built. Cleaning is carried out daily. The reception can provide you with all the information you need for excursions to Glasgow and the surrounding area. There is no store on the site. The Stepps train station is about 500m away. From there you can get to Glasgow without changing trains.

Nice campsite with good opportunities to get into Glasgow city center without a car: A train runs every 30 minutes within 1 km (just over 3 pounds return), so you can also visit nice pubs at your leisure. The sanitary facilities are clean but small - although the site is not designed for large numbers of campers.

Clean and friendly managed CP. Price-performance ratio of 26 pounds for 1 WOMO with 3 people is far from being right. Otherwise everything was fine.

Simple CP with grass or gravel pitches that are generously dimensioned, the sanitary facilities, some of which are housed in container buildings, are simple but clean. The center of Glasgow can be reached in 20 minutes by train, which runs every half hour and is about 1km away. When we were there in July 2011, the campsite was still accessible via a building site

A simple, clean basic campsite without many additional facilities. Glasgow city center can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. When I was there, there was construction going on at the entrance to the site, otherwise the site was quiet.
