"Positively surprised! - The campsite is an ideal starting point for excursions to Rüdesheim, Eltville and Bingen. It is in a quiet location directly on the Rhine. The pitches are spacious and many of them have a view of the river. There is a very nice footpath and cycle path along the Rhine right next to the site. There is a moderately priced Italian restaurant on site. The sanitary facilities are simple but very well maintained and clean. Depending on the pitch, the path to the sanitary facilities is a little further. We can recommend the site without reservation and would be happy to come again.

"5 stars are still too few - Everything was great, from the always clean sanitary facilities to the generous space, really everything was just right for us, we will definitely come back whenever we can.

"Perfect as a starting point for exploring the Rheingau - If you want to explore the Rheingau around Geisenheim, this site is very suitable. You can walk to Geisenheim, a cozy little town with a good selection of restaurants and cafes, in about 15 minutes. You can also take the train from the local station to Rüdesheim, Koblenz etc. or in the opposite direction to Wiesbaden, Eltville etc. You can also reach these places very easily via the cycle path that runs directly past the campsite. If you have a pitch right on the shore, you can watch the boats passing by. You can visit the restaurant on the site, but I would prefer other places in the village or the nearby boathouse. The choice of bread service is very limited and could be improved. All in all, we had a nice short stay and will certainly be back, then for longer.

"Cozy place directly on the Rhine - The advantages of the site are its quiet location directly on the Rhine, a pizzeria on site, the possibility of walking along the river, easy access with caravans, clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff and a trailer site for sports boats in the immediate vicinity. However, the shopping facilities are only accessible by bike, car or on foot (with a walking time of approx. 15 minutes), which could be a disadvantage. Geisenheim is a charming town on the Rhine, known for its important wine-growing and fruit-growing tradition. The town is also known for its renowned research and educational institution, Hochschule Geisenheim University. The university enjoys worldwide recognition for its research and teaching in the fields of viticulture, oenology, horticulture and landscape architecture. For visitors to the campsite in Geisenheim, the town offers many opportunities for exploration and discovery. There are many picturesque hiking trails and cycle routes in and around Geisenheim, leading through vineyards, orchards and forests. The town itself also offers a variety of restaurants, cafés and stores where you can sample local specialties and products. Especially in summer, Geisenheim is a popular destination for tourists who want to explore the region. There are numerous wine festivals and culinary events where you can sample the local wines and dishes. One highlight is the annual Rheingau Music Festival, where renowned musicians from all over the world perform. All in all, Geisenheim offers a perfect combination of nature, culture and history and is an ideal starting point for discovery tours along the Rhine and the surrounding regions.
