- Uwe P.August 2010We stayed at Ross Park Caravan Park, as it is officially called, in August 2010. We certainly found one of the most beautiful and well-kept campsites there. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly owner and accompanied to our pitch with his mini tractor. Once there, he also used this vehicle... to park the caravan. The pitches are partly overgrown with grass or hardstanding (gravel). All pitches are framed with wood and some even have palm trees. The site also employs a gardener, which is pleasantly noticeable due to the extensive floral decorations. The sanitary facilities are very stylish, very clean and large. There are usually cubicles with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The campsite has a great restaurant with plenty of seating in a huge tropical conservatory. There is also a small store and a room with lots of information about the area. There is a huge meadow and playground for the children. However, children are not allowed to ride bikes on the main grounds. Perhaps the only drawback is that the site is relatively far from the sea. On the other hand, the location is ideal for countless excursions in the surrounding area. We would definitely come back again.Automatisk oversat.
