"The best CP in general condition I found in Bulgaria - It's hard to find a better and more well-kept place in Bulgaria. Only the GPS data given is not quite right. 41.870278 N 25.991583 E and you are standing in front of the entrance gate. A friendly operator, unfortunately only English-speaking, very clean sanitary facilities, level pitches, electricity, drinking water, W-LAN,

"Always good - Very friendly management. Everything clean here is still controlled by the owner himself.for a longer break in the direction of Turkey or vice versa the best place I have been driving to this place for years and always feel welcome even with small problems on the car you are always helpful.

"Excellent - We stayed for four days in August at Sakar Hills, in a tent. The price was 8 euros, for two, all included (electricity, wifi,...). The campsite is Matt's garden, behind the house, at the foot of an old West-East railroad line. It's very well equipped: sanitary facilities, barbecue, pergola, tables, electric sockets, fridge! The only thing missing is a little more shade in summer (we left during the heatwave...) Matt is very friendly, and a wellspring of information about Biser, Harmanli and Bulgaria. He's originally from the UK, but has lived here for a long time. We spent a lot of time with him, he's funny and always has a thousand stories to tell. He guided us to swimming pools, restaurants, the best petrol pump... He also agreed to let us pay him half in levas, half in euros, to get rid of the last of our foreign currency before crossing into Turkey! In short, a golden guy!

"have already been there 3 times on the way to Greece - Very clean, tidy and easy to reach place. A very friendly atmosphere although only English speaking. Very suitable for visiting the surrounding sights. However, there is no offer of food and drink. Highly recommended for onward travel to Greece and Turkey.

"One of the best in Bulgaria - Matt, the owner, is very welcoming and informative of all things Bulgarian. Sanitary facilities are excellent. This is one quietest location that I used within this group of 7. No I shall state that all four that I visited were quiet. Use their on-site map for this group of 7 other sites while in this beautiful friendly country. You should not be disappointed. As a single traveller I was given a small but welcome discount at Sakar.

Vejbeskrivelse

GPS Co-ordinates: 41 dgr 52.247 N 25 dgr 59.497 E We are in Biser just off the E80 between Harmanli and Lyubimets. Keep an eye out for our signposts. Travelling south on E80 or from the A1 motorway follow signs …to Harmanli on E80. Once in Harmanli take the left turn before the bridge. Follow the road round to the right, then left at the end and keep going for 8km. Look for a signpost on the right to Biser. Travelling north from the Lyubimets A1 motorway exit follow signs for Lyubimets and then Harmanli Keep on this road for 10 km then take the first left into Biser. Cross the railway line and then you can't miss the campsite: just look for the big white house on the right and turn in, 1 km before the actual village of Biser. You'll be glad you came!
