The pitches are generously sized for motorhomes and caravans. The campsite warden is very committed and has lots of good tips for leisure activities in the surrounding area. The beach and water are wonderful for a refreshing dip. Shopping... in the village of Merlischachen, approx. 600 m away. Sanitary facilities are housed in containers but are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Although the main road and railroad are close by, the site is quiet. The location is fantastic, campers can choose their pitch right by the lake (with crystal clear water), there is plenty of space from other campers as the site is not overcrowded. The sanitary facilities (containers) are very well maintained. Refrigerators and freezers are accessible,... a supermarket is not far away (5 min walk). The camping pass reduces entrance fees in the surrounding area (ferry trips, Lucerne Transport Museum and much more). The grass is also very nice - the ground doesn't look worn. All in all, a brilliant place with 5 stars.Automatisk oversat.

- E. I.May 2012Beautiful site directly on Lake Lucerne. Well-kept meadow with a variety of trees and shrubs. The tourist pitches are located on the shore and are very spacious. From here you have a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The sanitary facilities are in containers, but are nevertheless... spacious and well maintained. The groundsman is very friendly and gave us good tips for our cycling excursions on Tell's trail and to Lucerne. However, as most of the cycle path is on a busy road, these excursions are not without danger. Unfortunately, there are no shopping facilities on the campsite. The nearest store is 600 meters away. The site is not listed in the ADAC guide, which is also an advantage, as it was only sparsely occupied during our stay in mid-May.Automatisk oversat.

Road is audible, lake places very nice.Automatisk oversat.- Reto Z.June 2011LOCATION: Great location directly on the lake, above the campsite there is a road and a railroad line, but both are not very busy PITCHES: campsite divided into parceled pitches and open meadows, all pitches are on grass Parceled pitches are large, some directly on the water, some pitches have a tent... meadow in front of them Parceled pitches have electricity SANITARY: always clean, rather small sanitary facilities, showers unfortunately do not have a shower curtain, but a removable shower head with hose, washing facilities for dishes are located outside INFRASTRUCTURE: small playground, sunbathing lawn by the water, access to the lake via steps, drinks and snacks on sale GENERAL: very friendly and courteous groundsman, ideal starting point for tours into central Switzerland CONCLUSION: beautiful and quiet site, friendly staff, clean facilitiesAutomatisk oversat.
Elke K.April 2011Small campsite with flat, partly parceled-out grass pitches. Sanitary containers no longer brand new, but always clean and well maintained. Very attentive groundsman. Caravans only up to 7 m long. We did not find the road running past the campsite or the railroad disturbing. Despite the Easter high season,... we still had a pitch right on the lake with a fantastic view of the Rigi and Pilatus.
