Unfortunately, our stay was characterized by rules, instructions, reprimands of the children, etc. This from the staff as well as from "local" camp residents. (With more rights than short campers)
Very child-unfriendly and hardly customer-oriented.... We felt like schoolchildren who were allowed to stay overnight for free.
We are used to different things at other TCS campsites.

Then the sheriff comes and imposes the tariff, without ifs and buts... and different rules apply to caravans than to motorhomes! Caravans, for example, must be placed diagonally on a premium pitch, but motorhomes only diagonally. The sheriff doesn't have an explanation for this; it's just the rules....Automatisk oversat.

The camping team was very helpful and accommodating.
The camping facilities were very nice and well-kept and the sanitary facilities were in perfect condition.
We also enjoyed the comfortably furnished lounge for reading and relaxing. The Töggeli table was a welcome change.
The food in the "Rübis und Stübis" restaurant was excellent!
We would be happy to return...

Noisy.WARNING EATEN BY MOSQUITOS. BEWARE.The camping is infested with mosquitoes, especially the part nearest the reception. They are in the showers and toilets etc. We were mauled by them in our van all night, this has never happened to us before even when we just parked up randomly in parking’s etc. I think it’s the camping’s responsibility... to have measures to keep them away as much as possible. When I spoke to them they were aware so they could have warned us so we would have been prepared.
Also, there was a very noisy family, I did mention it to them but they didn’t do anything so it was not at all pleasant to be sitting having a glass of wine to relax.

The area is ideal for hiking and cycling and the meadows along the Thur are well worth a visit. The shopping facilities in the area are also good and the towns of Schaffhausen with the Rhine Falls and Winterthur are not far away.

The operators are extremely friendly and helpful.
The site is in an idyllic location on the Rhine, with great outdoor activities right on site.
The only drawback is that the playground is outside the campsite in... the outdoor pool. I would like to see a corresponding offer created in the rear area near the tourist pitches. I'm not a fan of playground equipment, a few large stones, a felled tree, some sand and a little water would suffice. We were allowed to stay for 21 nights and got a seasonal pitch. There is not so much traffic, which we found very good. The site is very well booked in the season and therefore has a lot of tourist traffic.
The surroundings are fantastic. Whether on foot, by... bike or by car. You can get somewhere quickly.
The store does not belong to the campsite. The prices are outrageous. 1LT mineral water CHF 6.00 is simply a cheek.
The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. At 23.00 o'clock again and again! So it was really very clean.Automatisk oversat.

The staff were always friendly. The grass on the pitches is TOP. We enjoyed the proximity to nature, the outdoor pool and the Rhine. A beautiful site which we can recommend.
Unfortunately, the capacity of the hot water was not sufficient,... from 19:00 you could only take a cold shower or wash dishes. The service in the restaurant Rübis-Stübis is inflexible, food was good. The groundskeeper is very consistent and sometimes seems a bit stressed and unfriendly. The location of the site is great. Great for bike tours and excursions on the Rhine and the Töss.
Some of the pitches are a bit small. The premium pitches normally correspond to what I expect as a pitch.... Despite Corona, we only saw disinfectant at the reception. Neither in the toilets nor in front of the sanitary building. Only soap as usual was available. Lax interpretation of the Corona rules. We've been to other campsites before and it was great there.
