Der er beskedne åbningstider i receptionen, men du slår dig bare ned. Der er meget venlighed fra personalet (kvinder 18 - 20 år) Det er nok den pæneste rengjorte plads denne sommer. Prisen var kr. 140,- for plads, en person, strøm.

Beautifully situated nature campsite, some pitches with electricity. New, very clean sanit. Facilities and kitchen area. Friendly and helpful staff. Access: approx. 3 km before Jsafjördur there is a large supermarket with gas station on the left on the main road, approx. 100 m after that turn left, follow... the signs for golf course/camping. Continue past the golf course for approx. 1 km to Camping Tungudalur. Ideal starting point for visiting the Westfjords, e.g. Sudureyri, 23 km. To Jsafjördur, capital of the Westfjords, approx. 3 km, large harbor with parking space for motorhomes, center with small stores. If you need medical help you can be treated in the newly built hospital, simply contact the reception, describe the problem and make an appointment with the doctor. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and speak English.
