- Andreas S.July 2021PositiveRestNegativNoneQuiet and sheltered from the windLevel grass pitch with about 300 spaces. Very friendly reception in English, although it was actually lunchtime. We were given an overview map with marked pitches and were able to choose a pitch from this. The ground is very firm, not suitable for aluminum pegs and can withstand a downpour without softening....
The sea is about 100m behind an ancient forest with many oak trees more than 1m in diameter. The beach has hardly any pebbles and is suitable for sunbathing. The bottom of the water slopes very gently, at least as far as the first sandbank.
Electricity is charged according to consumption and shower tokens are required for showering. Very nice shower cubicles with washbasin, mirror and socket.
Wifi is free but not available everywhere. Breakfast rolls can be pre-ordered. Barbecuing with charcoal is permitted.
There is a restaurant about 100m outside the campsite.Automatisk oversat. - Uwe M.June 2018Positive- beautiful location - great beach - great playgroundsNegativ- Reception only opens at 9am - Permanent campers who patronize you - Cleanliness of the sanitary facilitiesNo room for transitThe site is quite far away from larger towns in the countryside. The pitches are large enough and always separated in groups by hedges. The problem is that the roads within the campsite are extremely narrow. You can go straight ahead, but then you have to turn off onto the next path. With a car it works,... but as soon as you have a family caravan that is a bit longer than just one bed, you have to uncouple it and turn the caravan around the corner by hand (luckily we have a mover). The site is dominated by Danish permanent campers. The tourist pitches are in between where there is something free. This means that you are under observation by the permanent campers, who keep pointing out any "misbehavior". First we were told that we had to put the caravan further to the edge of the pitch, later we were told that barbecuing was forbidden, and only after the barbecue had been fired up. When I asked the operator when paying, it turned out that we could have barbecued. But apparently this didn't suit the permanent campers next door..... The site has advantages for dog owners: you can quickly reach the forest, where there is a fenced-in dog playground with seating for the owners and agility equipment for the pups. However, these should be looked after a little more. A few steps further through the forest and you are on the beach, which slopes very gently into the water. Dogs seem to be allowed here, at least it doesn't say anywhere that they are prohibited. What's more, the beach was completely empty, despite a full camping site and good weather. It was really great, our dogs were able to let off steam. The sanitary buildings are very old. They are probably cleaned in the morning, but by the afternoon there were scraps of toilet paper everywhere. I took a shower (costs extra) shortly after the cleaning. The strainer on the drain still had hair from the last x users.... The site is certainly suitable for families, there are several great playgrounds. A small store has everything you need so you don't have to drive to the next town. Why do we think the campsite is not suitable for transients? The reception only opens at 9am. You can't pay before then because the electricity has to be metered. We were on a longer tour and wanted to leave around 8am. But that's not possible. The store run by the operators opens at 8am, so they would have been there. So we were standing in front of the barrier at 8:30am, the operators were sitting in front of their store waiting for bread roll buyers. But they weren't prepared to do the billing before 9am, so we actually had to wait that long.Automatisk oversat.
- Jürgen S.July 2016PositivequietNegativThe nearest towns are far away.Nice campsite with our recommendationNice and friendly site operators, always in a good mood. Very nice place. From quiet to lively at the children's playground, everyone as they like it. There is even an extra run for dogs. Not far from the beach, which can be reached through a small wood. The shore by the sea is very shallow and therefore... also suitable for children. The sanitary facilities are always in good order and always clean. The many family bathrooms are particularly nice. WLAN is probably also available, but is said to be far too expensive.Automatisk oversat.
- Roulotte L.August 2014PositiveQuiet, close to nature, lots of opportunities to play, fenced dog forestNegativQuite remoteSecluded in the middle of nature - relaxation guaranteedGreat campsite with plenty of pitches and lots of play facilities for children, both young and old. Super nice operator couple, always up for some fun. Direct access to the Baltic Sea beach. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and are in good condition overall. Supply with the most necessary... things on site in the morning bread roll service. You can be in Copenhagen in 1 hour by train (from Faxe Ladeplads) and on the island of Møn in the same time by car.Automatisk oversat.
- Dirk H.July 2011The layout of the pitches was quite spacious and the sanitary facilities were generally clean. The site advertises a "dog forest with agility equipment". Both quite unkempt, slippery and dangerous.Automatisk oversat.
