- Julian M.August 2018PositiveBeautiful locationNegativ- loud, disco every evening, loud tractor every morning - narrow, unkempt "plots" - old sanitary facilities - no nudism - expensive storeVery noisy place, never againThe camp is huge, mostly built very steeply over a hill. Positive: the beautiful location. NEGATIVE: The cars have to be parked WAY outside, about 10 minutes walk to the car in the summer heat is exhausting. Every night disco and party from 21:00 to 02:00 at night, the noise sounds almost over the whole... place. In addition, every 2nd day a tractor drives loudly across the beach at 08:00 in the morning (the sand is raked for 1 hour each time) and wakes up many campers. Many guests have complained and we have asked the driver to do his tractor ride a little later in the day - unfortunately the wishes of the guests are not taken into account. We spoke to many permanent campers. They told us that the campsite has become louder and louder in recent years and is becoming more and more party and club vacation-oriented - at the expense of peace and relaxation. Package tourism is the best way to describe it. The campsite currently advertises with the slogan "CLUB la Chiappa" - and thus attracts CLUB lovers. Unfortunately, not all the guests are naked, even though it is supposed to be a nudist campsite. Even late at night, drunken guests walk next to the tents roaring loudly - just like on Mallorca. You get the feeling that everyone can do whatever they want. Other things: The sandy beach is piled up, the sanitary facilities are very old. Lots of permanent campers displace the vacation guests onto unsightly pitches. The permanent campers also claim many rights, blocking beautiful pitches and reserving sections of the beach with chained(!) hammocks. As a tent vacationer, you only get the remaining spaces in the high season. Even a reservation doesn't help. The reception was sometimes overwhelmed as to how many pitches were still available. The full amount is paid on arrival, if you want to leave earlier, there is no money back. The pitches are extremely cramped and not well maintained, most of them are no longer recognizable. I myself plucked out weeds on our pitch. There are dog and horse droppings on the paths towards Thaiti beach and the path is not cleaned. CONCLUSION: If you are looking for relaxation and closeness to nature, you should look elsewhere. We cannot recommend this place to families, couples and senior citizens. We will definitely not be back.Automatisk oversat.
- Massimiliano C.September 2017Positive- great pitches possible - direct path to Tahiti Beach - quietNegativ- Sanitary facilities - Bad supermarket - Staff not really niceSo-so!My wife and I were on the site in mid-September. It really is a "Wild West" campsite. Everyone is allowed to stand wherever they want. The advantage is that you get a really great pitch like we did, but you may have to "squeeze in" somewhere. I have to be honest and say that we weren't very impressed... with the staff - we didn't really feel welcome. The supermarket didn't work at all! Mouldy vegetables and hardly any goods left at the end of the season. The sanitary facilities are very old. Everything is just sprayed with a water hose and not cleaned. On the plus side, of course, is the beach and especially the direct path to the beautiful Thiti Beach. There is a bar on the main beach, where local young people sat every day dressed up - which is not acceptable. If we hadn't found such a great place, we would have left straight away.Automatisk oversat.
- K. B.August 2017PositiveSupper dive center. Beautiful area.NegativIncomprehensible rules. Sanitary not really appealing.Beautiful area but conical campsite rulesThe campsite is in a wonderful location, absolutely clean and clear water. The drive to the campsite with a large caravan is a bit adventurous but doable. You have to pay the full amount when you check in. If you want to leave before, you will not get your money back according to the information. In... addition, the identity card is sometimes withheld, i.e. you are on the island without papers. My ID was only taken from me when I booked a buoy as an additional deposit of €50. When I handed in the buoy, I only got the €50 back. My ID card was only returned to me on departure. When I was told how I should behave in the event of a police check without ID papers, I was asked if I had a second one. ????? The sanitary buildings are all getting on in years. They are cleaned regularly. But there are stains everywhere. The toilets are without toilet seats and toilet paper as you know it on some campsites. However, at this price you would expect something else. If you want to launch your boat, you have two options. You can also do it yourself, in which case you just have to pull your boat about 50 meters across the beach. The site itself is not parceled out. Some of the pitches are very sloping. When you arrive, you are driven around the site in a golf cart and can choose a pitch. Power distributors are not everywhere and you may have to lay your power cable across the gravel road. Cars are not allowed on the course. Only on arrival and departure or when you come from shopping and have to unload something. There seem to be exceptions. At least for helicopters. No joke. One guest was there with his helicopter, which he was allowed to park on the site. He also took off from the campsite every day and flew one or two laps low over the site. Corsica is a wonderful island, the location of the campsite is simply beautiful, but one or two things did spoil the vacation enjoyment. Finally. The diving school on site is highly recommended. A great team, great dive sites. We at least felt very well looked after there.Automatisk oversat.
- Jens A.September 2016PositiveVery clean sanitary facilities ... good bathing facilities, good restaurant, the naturist idea is respected, quiet due to seclusionNegativWW of already departed guests are not brought to the assembly point remain in the camp and partly block the most beautiful placesGreat naturist areaOur first trip to Corsica at the end of August 2016 took us to La Chiappa. This is a very extensive, natural site ... the beauty of the landscape is hard to beat. The beauty of the landscape can hardly be surpassed, a very clean facility, you can really live a naturist life ... as a previous speaker wrote, you don't even need clothes in the store, nudism is controlled and enforced on the beach and pool....Automatisk oversat.
- Michael P.June 2016PositiveGood location for excursions Beautiful beaches nearbyNegativRestaurants were ok, but could be more. Car not parkable on siteSuper campsite by Corsican standardsMy rating here is to be seen in relation to other CORSIAN places, as in my opinion they cannot be compared with some excellent Croatian places, for example. La Chiappa is a naturist resort that has a lot to offer! The course is large and when you register at reception you are immediately chauffeured... around the course by an employee in a golf cart and you have to choose a pitch. Important for campers! The cars in La Chiappa must be parked in front of the actual camping site and may not be left on the site; if you want this, the car must be registered as a camper, which of course costs more. The sanitary facilities were all clean and in good condition. As on most naturist campsites in Corsica, there is no gender segregation in the sanitary facilities. The market was well stocked with everything you need / daily fresh pastries in the morning. Pizzeria had good pizzas and reasonably normal prices, the menu of the grill restaurant was unfortunately not my cup of tea. The pool was clean and had plenty of free sun loungers and the sea was of good quality. The trail to Tahiti Beach is highly recommended. This path (which can easily be walked on naked) leads to what I found to be the most beautiful beach during our stay in Corsica. It can be reached on foot in about 35 minutes and is really beautiful. For me, La Chiappa was one of the most beautiful places during our stay in Corsica and I would definitely recommend it.Automatisk oversat.
- Paul T.May 2015PositiveStunning, quiet location Individual pitchesNegativMany permanent campers' properties are in poor condition Very limited range of goods in the storeBeautiful location and cozy pitchesWe stayed at this campsite for a week in mid-May 2015 and were lucky enough to have a pitch with a breathtaking view in the 1st row. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained. We were disturbed by the many neglected caravans of permanent... campers. These objects give the site a partially unkempt impression. The service in the grocery store was friendly, but we found the range (still) very limited. Meat was hardly available.Automatisk oversat.
- Gunnar B.August 2013PositiveLocation, facilities, closeness to nature and friendlinessNegativsmall, expensive supermarketThe location is breathtakingWe went to La Chiappa for the first time six years ago - and have been back every year since! The campsite is of course not new - but parts of it are renovated every year. The staff are very friendly, courteous and nice. The supermarket is a bit expensive with a small selection - we think everything... else is great! It's also important to note that this is a naturist club and not a 5* chic resort - you should have a certain affinity with nature - then you're guaranteed to have a wonderful time here!Automatisk oversat.
- Emile D.June 2013We were at Chiappa at the beginning of June and it was still very quiet. The resort made a very good impression. We had rented a size B cottage. It was clean but the cupboards in the kitchen won't last too long. The bathroom and the beds were fine. The bungalows are well placed, no one looks directly... onto the other's terrace. The rental prices are quite high for what is on offer. Officially, clothing is compulsory in the supermarket and at reception, but as the sales clerk didn't mind, many shoppers didn't put their trousers on in front of the store. In general, naturism is well observed, but why is the trainer at the aqua gym wearing a bikini?Automatisk oversat.
- Hans B.May 2013This is the 6th time we have visited the facility. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly dilapidated in all areas. No innovations are being made. The site is not ready for the start of the season and the large pool is out of use (until 6.6.). The offer in the restaurants is small, hardly any snack... options. We had heard many complaints about the condition of the bungalows. The people from the surf center and the diving school are bullied! The impression remains of being ripped off for nothing in return. There is a lack of empathy for the majority of guests. Too bad for the location, can no longer be recommended overall.Automatisk oversat.
- Wolfgang S.April 2013We were there in spring with a tent and a great view. However, we wouldn't have gotten this place in summer - it's supposed to be extremely crowded. Nevertheless, great place, car is necessary, the beach just ok, but hike to great secluded beach possible, good restaurant, relaxed atmosphere.Automatisk oversat.
- Franz Z.July 2012This summer was our second time at the resort. It is simply beautiful. The peace and quiet and the location of the resort are simply brilliant. What more could you want? I went on an excursion around the resort on foot with my wife, all naked of course. From the lighthouse to the sea, from the WIFI to... the highest hill outside the resort, without meeting anyone else. A new pool has been built and a new terrace with shade has been created in the restaurant. If the owners invest something every year, I can see the resort returning to a top level.Automatisk oversat.
- Werner S.June 2012An outdated square that was probably at its best 20 years ago. There is a fine line between "rustic" and run-down and it is often crossed. We stayed in a bungalow. These are VERY basic for the price charged. Poorly equipped. Gas stove without safety cut-out. Partially exposed electrical installations... behind the bungalows. Almost all of them should be renovated. All in all: no longer up to date and overpriced. The only bright spot on the site is the diving school, which offers great dives in the nature reserve.Automatisk oversat.
- nadia m.June 2012As we were there at the beginning of June, it is of course quite different from July-August. Especially in terms of peace and quiet! Restaurants are very good, but at the beginning of the season not everything on the menu is available. There is not much choice in the store yet. People are very nice and... helpful. We were in bungalows, so I can't judge the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, some of the bungalows are quite outdated, so the value for money is not optimal. The camping pitches are very nice, lots of shade. The nature is simply fantastic, and the water.... But for me this campsite is not really naturist, many people walk half-dressed, or partly fully dressed. We would definitely recommend this campsiteAutomatisk oversat.
- Helukast 8.August 2011Partly unkempt, run-down buildings, especially the supermarket, inadequate water supply, pitches not maintained at all, very uneven and stony, loud music from the bar until 2.00 am, disinterested staff at reception, no supply and disposal facilities for mobile homes. Positive: location of the pitch, nice pool.Automatisk oversat.
