- Ernst G.June 2022PositiveClean, modern pitch, very well maintained.Negativ1. evening musical entertainment can be heard all over the square. 2. increase in the price of ice cream led to great disappointment for 2 children who wanted to afford ice cream because they didn't get any ice cream for the money they had paid...Not absolutely perfect...Blah blah blah blah blah
I hate it when people try to force me to give information (comment)Automatisk oversat. - Michael S.May 2022PositiveBasically a good campsite, very clean. Sanitary new and well maintained, indoor and outdoor pool. Restaurant and bistro make a good impression. The small supermarket has a good selection.NegativWhat we didn't like: We were standing close together like in a rabbit hole. We felt like we were in a "high-rise building". Every little corner is allocated as a parking space, even if you can no longer level out on the sloping pitch. You can hear every noise your neighbors make, whether you like it or not. On the pitch max. 10km/h, only the employees are much faster with their golf carts. Already seen several near-accidents. We will move on after a short stay.Reminiscent of a rabbit holeBasically a good campsite, very clean. Sanitary new and well maintained, indoor and outdoor pool. Quality like a 4-5 star hotel.NegativOnly parceled pitches.Best place in PortugalThere are at least 30 people working on this site at any one time, constantly looking after the cleanliness and functioning of everything.
After a short time, you feel like you're part of a family, as everyone is very friendly and careful.
If a bit of garbage has been blown away somewhere, nobody is... too good to pick it up immediately.
The sanitary facilities are some of the cleanest I have ever seen, they are cleaned every 1-2 hours.
Everything is fairly new and has probably only been renovated or rebuilt in the last 5 years.Automatisk oversat. - Nico L.July 2019PositiveCleanliness, quality, AlgarveNegativwe can think of little hereIdeally located CP for accessing various beaches in the AlgarveBeautiful campsite, anyone who knows Yelloh should know that you won't be disappointed and this campsite is no exception. A really lovely campground, very clean and laid out in terraces. In summer you should be aware that the pitches offer little shade and it often gets very hot. The campsite is not... by the sea but is an ideal starting point to get to Lagas, Sagres or Portimão. What bothered us a little was the noise of the young children late into the night, although that is also complaining at a high level (especially as we were there in high season). Overall, there is really little that we would have liked to have changed... Perhaps better WLAN coverage would be an idea.Automatisk oversat.
- Hans S.May 2019PositiveTop equipment, hotel-like sanitary facilities, great pool areas.NegativUnattractive gatehouse from earlier times after the barrier; at least blinds should cover the "inner life"Great place with very good poolsOverall a 5 star place, German speaking and helpful reception staff. We were informed of any disruptions due to construction work. Very good, high standard sanitary facilities. The various pools and wellness areas are simply great and make you forget the distance to the sea. Unfortunately, we were unable to make a reservation for ACSI pitches, but the pre-season price is reasonable for the quality and facilities. Well-stocked supermarket.Automatisk oversat.
- Sascha F.May 2019PositiveThe complete square!NegativAnyone who discovers disadvantages in this place, please write. I can't think of any. There is nothing better. (At least nothing that we know of)We have been traveling through France, Spain and Portugal for some time now. We have never seen a better campsite. Everything is just right here. The site offers everything your heart desires. It is also incredibly clean and has friendly staff, a hairdresser, swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), spa and... restaurant. The campsite's own supermarket is also a camper market and offers everything you could ever need, from bread rolls to electric inflation pumps, water pumps and gas adapters. There is simply nothing missing here. If you could give it 6 stars, I would give it seven!Automatisk oversat.
- Tiago P.May 2019PositiveCleanliness of the 5-star bathrooms, the 2 swimming pools (1 covered) and jacuzziLuxury camping5 stars! Good value for money. The bathrooms are spotless! Good indoor and outdoor swimming pools. I think it's one of the best campsites in Portugal!!!Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas P.January 2019PositiveOverall clean and well furnishedNegativOverpriced, poor locationHonestly, the space is far too expensiveI am absolutely not a thrifty person, but this place is altogether too expensive. The price for dogs is exorbitant: 6 Eur/day. The idea behind this is to attract dog owners by saying dogs are welcome, but then restrict them again by only allowing them for an excessive price. A no-go for me because we have more than one dog. 0 to two euros is normal... but 6?Automatisk oversat.
- Irene V.December 2018PositiveFor the size a great leisure offer and very cleanNegativDistance to the sea (2.5 km) and shopping and other restaurants also require car, bike or bus.Very nice placeWe spent 10 weeks here. Rather unusual for us as motorhome owners. We haven't regretted a day and want to stay here again next winter. The site is very well designed, with beautiful pitches. However, we were on a deluxe pitch with water and waste water. The entertainment program in winter is mainly aimed... at adults. But lots of sports activities and even Portuguese courses. The restaurant has frequent buffets and often themed evenings, with brunch on Sundays. The food is very much geared towards the abundance of English people and the shop is surprisingly well stocked for its size. For bulk shopping you have to go either to Luz (by bike) or to Lagos. When cycling you should note that it is very hilly here and there are no cycle paths (we did not expect that). The staff is very helpful and very friendly. We even got help with a repair and even free of charge. We have experienced this very differently at other campsites. They even helped us with a complaint about the rental car. The downside is that the Wi-Fi costs extra and the washing machine and dryer cost €5.Automatisk oversat.

- Alfred S.October 2017PositiveVery nice, bright and clean sanitary facilities. Washing machines and dryers in sufficient numbers and up to date.Negativ?Turisccampo / Luz is a beautiful place, with only very minor flaws. The place is used by many different Europeans for wintering, and it is very well suited for this. We went on many excursions along the beautiful Algarve and ate delicious food in small restaurants at unbeatable prices. We spent 32 wonderful days there and it won't be our last. Although the distances... are not to be underestimated. The road behind the campsite is used as a shortcut and as a construction road, which of course causes noise and even more dust. As usual, shopping at the campsite is not that cheap, but the range is good, only the bread rolls don't taste good. We usually went to Lagos to do our shopping when we were traveling by car anyway. The distance to the beach in Luz is about 2.2 km. A swimming pool that can also be used in winter was under construction. Very nice, bright and clean sanitary facilities. Washing machines and dryers in sufficient numbers and up to date. The staff is friendly, points out special offers and is helpful with problems. I had the feeling that a member of staff was regularly keeping an eye on the site, but I didn't find this annoying. The restaurant is good with a good price-performance ratio. We were not particularly interested in the children's entertainment options, but they must be good - the children were happy in my opinion.Automatisk oversat.
- Michael K.September 2017PositiveCamping at a high levelNegativNothing works without a vehicle, even the cleaning staff or the gardener should say hello....Extra classCamping in a class of its own! The Platt offers everything a camper needs at a very high standard. The toilets are spotlessly clean, the pool facilities and store are top-notch, and the restaurant offers very good quality for a reasonable price by camping standards. Caution: very full even in the off-season!... I would avoid pitches near the restaurant, it's a bit louder here in the evening because the bar sometimes "goes crazy" if the crowd is right..... But exemplary: it ends at 11.00 pm, even if many still shout "Please one more song".... Very correct. Almost too correct: an employee sent from reception is needed to connect/unplug the power supply, although the camper is not trusted to do this..... The staff with direct camper contact is very friendly - so it is immediately noticeable that the rest of the staff (gardeners, technicians, cleaning staff) are difficult to elicit an "ola". Very well-stocked store, the pastries are fresh because they are baked on site - but a bit "monotonous" with 2 varieties...Automatisk oversat.
- Gunnar v.October 2016PositiveSunny and bright in winterNegativLack of proximity to the beach, but no problem with a vehicle, 3 kmTuriscampo simply top for usWe are pensioners and spend the winter here from October to March, which is wonderful. We have our car with us (motorhome with trailer) and can get everywhere with it. The place is the best we have experienced to date.Automatisk oversat.
- Thorsten B.September 2016PositivePure comfort on the pitchNegativsecluded, the beautiful beaches are far awayGreat campsite but not close to the beachBrilliant campsite with very attentive and friendly staff. The only, but big drawback, is the long distance to the nearest possible beach and it's not even that nice (Praia de Meira)Automatisk oversat.
- João A.September 2016TuriscampoOverall very good, I really liked the park; it has a good atmosphere and is clean, calm and very quiet; it is relatively close to the city of Lagos where there is some entertainment for those who want to have fun at night; although the park has entertainment every dayAutomatisk oversat.
- Eric F.August 2016PositiveActivity paddle really to do transport picks us up brings us back very nice.NegativA bit far from the center. No typical Portuguese evening, just Fado.Very cleanGiven the previous comment in 2011 the buffet at 7 euros in 2016 increases to 12 euros. Sanitary Very clean redone in 2015. Jacuzzi excellent pool too but a little cold. Pleasant staff and campsite. More windy at the end of the campsite very good when it's hot.Automatisk oversat.
- Christiane L.November 2015PositiveExtremely clean, well-kept site with first-class sanitary facilities, beautiful pool, heated whirlpool, good WLAN, close to LagosNegativNone - we will definitely be backOne of the best places we have ever experiencedExtremely friendly and helpful reception. We were able to choose the pitch ourselves. The pitches are large enough and parceled out with well-kept hedges. Sufficient shade from tall trees, but also bright spots for good satellite reception. Even large boats can find a suitable pitch. There is excellent... access and exit with its own traffic lights directly from the N125. The ground is graveled and well drained. Every few pitches have a water connection and a waste water outlet. Slightly larger pitches with their own water/waste water connection are available for a small extra charge. There is a separate supply and disposal point for motorhomes with everything you need. The gardeners keep the entire site permanently clean and maintain it in an exemplary manner. The site is beautifully planted. The pool is spacious, with plenty of loungers all around and there is even a heated whirlpool for the off-season as well as a wellness area where you can book massages. We didn't use the restaurant, but it was busy and made a good impression. It offers ala card and a buffet as an alternative (approx. 10€). The sanitary facilities are absolutely exemplary. New, modern, friendly, super clean, spacious and equipped with everything you can imagine. Everything is cleaned very thoroughly 3 times a day. In addition to showers, toilets, washing areas, dishwashing and laundry areas, there are also dog showers and a bathroom for small children, as well as bathrooms with showers, toilets and washbasins, which are free for everyone to use. The town center of Largos is only 6 km away, as are the beaches. Both can also be reached by bike via side roads. Largos has the usual supermarkets and a large Lidl. The supermarket on site is small but well-stocked and has the essentials you might have forgotten to buy at slightly higher but still acceptable prices. WLAN costs 50 cents for 2 hours or 2€ per 24 hours or 7€ for the week or 10€ per 2 weeks. It is therefore cheaper and flexible to book and has a great bandwidth (is fast). Can be received well at all pitches (several antenna masts) at all sanitary facilities and at the motorhome supply/disposal. In the early and late season, the site is very reasonably priced with CampCheque or via ACSI (€16). There are also special prices for long-term guests. We didn't find any negative points, had a great time here and can only recommend the site. Instead of the planned 2 days, we stayed 5 because we liked it so much. For my birthday, reception came to the pitch with a bottle of wine and a greetings card in German to congratulate me. This is not usual everywhere! We will definitely be back.Automatisk oversat.
- Mónica M.September 2015PositiveEntertainment from morning until night. The whole park is in excellent condition. The grocery store has everything you need.NegativYou need a car to go to the beach. The terrain of the park is very hard for those who take tents to set upLuxury campingIt's the ideal park for a great vacation at a good price. Everyone who works there is friendly. There's a swimming pool with great conditions for those who don't want to go to the beach and entertainment every day, all the time. The group of entertainers are exceptional and guarantee fun from the youngest... to the oldest. There are always activities within the park that don't need to be paid for separately (with a few exceptions). It is also possible to play sports inside the park. The only downside is that you need a car to get to the beaches, preferably because they are still a long way away and you have to cross the N125, which is quite dangerous. But it's definitely one to come back to.Automatisk oversat.
