Beautiful family-run campsite with very good value for money. Very nice operators. Very good restaurant. The access road can be reached without problems with larger motorhomes and trailers, don't be put off by other reviews.

It is one of the most beautiful places in Croatia. The peace and quiet on the campsite and the exceptionally good fish restaurant with its wonderful ambience make your days some of the best of the year.
The hospitality of Nada and Alen, the owners of... the campsite, deserves special mention. They fulfill your every wish and make even the impossible possible :-)
Furthermore, the entire staff of the campsite stands out from many other campsites. Always friendly and helpful, all day long from early in the morning. The cook, for example, responds to requests and, like the hosts, tries to make everything possible. The sanitary facilities are always clean.

The first access road, coming from Zadar and recommended by Mrs. Google, I didn't dare to take. The "right" one 100 m later (signposted!) is also quite exciting with a 12.20 m trailer. The lower pitches should only be considered with a strong towing vehicle - you have to get... back up again. Apart from that, the site is well-kept, cozy and manageable. Sanitary facilities? Yes, there are 2 showers and toilets for each gender. Cuddly shower curtains, but everything is clean. Only a few meters to the secluded beach (gravel). Alen, the boss, cooks something delicious every evening, you have to book in advance. There is what there is - or just a grill plate, around 13-15 €. very much. Alen the boss, who finds a solution for every wish and every problem and cooks delicious national specialties off the menu. Gregor, the king of the grill, who also grilled our self-caught seafood for us, and especially the enchanting Nada, who holds all the strings in her hand and fascinated us with her lovely nature and her extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs.

It wasn't love at first sight.
The warmth of the hosts enchanted us right from the start.
We found the peace and quiet we needed at this place to relax and forget about everyday life.
We were also able to do sports from the beach... with the paddle boat or the SUP.
The dog beach was also easy for our dog and us to walk to.
In the evening we ate very well in the taverna.
The host was responsive to the guests' wishes.
The family business always endeavored to provide us with a pleasant stay.
The sanitary facilities were always very clean and well maintained.
Thank you for the always clean showers and toilets as well as the whole place.
We will definitely be back.

The campsite is a jewel that is looked after by its operators with great attention to detail and nature. Hospitality is written in capital letters and practiced daily. The cuisine and barbecue are an unforgettable experience. Everything... together creates an atmosphere that could hardly be more beautiful for a vacation and relaxation.

Alen's octopus peka was brilliant and the fish was also very tasty.
However, we didn't find the sea as beautiful as further south.

Outstanding local cuisine is served in the lovingly designed restaurant.ΑρνητικάIt was very windy, which was apparently a rather unusual phenomenon at this time of year. Tough luck! The pebble beach is ideal with children, but we love the Croatian rocky beach.A lovingly managed and uniquely designed campsiteMy partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Camp Miocic. The operators, Nada and Alen, were very attentive and warm in their personal interaction. Alen catches some of the fish and seafood himself by hand, which is served in the beautiful restaurant in the evening.
We found the quiet and informal atmosphere... great for leaving the stresses and strains of everyday life behind us and relaxing.
My biggest concern is that we might not be able to get a place there next time because of the good rating.

Nice operator! Lots of peace and quiet!Camp Miocici is an operator-run site owned by a friendly couple. It offers plenty of pitches for motorhomes (some right by the sea) that offer both shade and sun. There are also some nice tent pitches under fig trees. The sanitary facilities are clean and easy to use, the shower water is hot and not... time-limited. There are four flushing facilities, centrally located. The food in the restaurant is excellent, the host family is friendly and German-speaking. There is also a German expatriate who offers very interesting day trips in the surrounding area. There is a rental stand-up paddle board available on site. Many pitches have their own water connection, here you just have to look where one is. Disposal is via a separate toilet. There is a small corner store above the campsite where you can buy everything you need for your camping holiday. The only disadvantage of the site is the very steep and bad road down the hill. The food in the restaurant is excellent, local and very cheap by German standards. The fish is fresh! The site is characterized... by many shady plants/trees and bamboo as well as olive trees, whose oil is also used to prepare the food. We ourselves are with a wowa with 7.5 m that is the limit he looks a bit out of the plot. We will definitely be back for a few days this year. The cozy terrace with restaurant simply invites you to linger and the food is very tasty. There are olive and fig trees all over the campsite. We left the next dayGreat little family-run campsiteA very friendly operator greets you at reception. In my case, he speaks German very well and is very friendly. The pitches are clean but vary a lot in size, but he tries very hard to give the larger vehicles a large space. A small pub on site with a cozy atmosphere, very nice. Dogs are allowed on the... site, but not on the beach in high season. In the low season they are tolerated and there are no problems. If there really is a problem, there is a 2 km long strip of shore where you have plenty of opportunities to get out of the way. There is a nice slipway and a harbor for boaters. Unfortunately, I don't know how and whether you can rent a mooring. Our opinion has not changed from our 1st review in August 2017. By the way: we have already booked for 2019 :-) It's a small, clean, very lovingly run campsite. Ideal for campers looking for peace and quiet, not for entertainment... junkies who need animation on vacation. The campsite is very clean, the pitches are small but adequate. You are not the guest of pitch number so and so here, but you are addressed as a guest by name - the operators know every single guest. Suggestions are gladly accepted and, as we were able to see for ourselves this year, implemented :-) The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful across the board. We actually always like to visit other campsites, but I think the fact that we have booked for the 3rd time in a row says enough. If you don't like it here, it's your own fault. Thomas S.August 2018ΘετικάSilence.ΑρνητικάFew shopping facilities.Small campsite to relaxSmall owner-managed campsite with restaurant in the small village of Rtina. The owners, Alen and Nada, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pitches for campers are a little tight and the car may have to be parked below the camp in the harbor. There are "covered" tent pitches in the lower... area. The whole site is tidy and clean. The restaurant is really good and reasonably priced. Pitch number 1 is big enough for 2 campers, so that overnight guests are sometimes put in front of you. This is not a problem, but should be mentioned in advance ;-). The sanitary facilities are clean and adequate and equipped with a washing machine. The garbage cans near the toilets and flushing facilities, which smell in the heat, are annoying and a new location should be found for them. The public beach right next to the small harbor is clean. The water is a bit murky due to the location in the bay and the sand/pebble beach. There are better beaches in Croatia. There is a small market about 300m from the camp. You can get the essentials here.
