Wolfram K.August 2021Θετικά- Beautiful location, very relaxed pitches, not overcrowded even in August - Sufficient shade - Very clean and tidy - Quiet overall - Friendly operators - Free soap, paper towels and toilet paper - Sanitary facilities are well sized - Very hot water at the rinsing places - No site lighting at nightΑρνητικά- Shower costs 1 Fr. for 3 minutes (but time can be interrupted) - Relatively expensive, parking for the car costs extra - Pitches on the street could be a bit noisy - No free choice of seatsBest place in MalcantoneThe site is in a very nice location and doesn't seem overcrowded even in August, like some sites in Italy. Very quiet overall, the pitches near the road (especially tent pitches) may be affected by road noise. There is plenty of shade on the pitch. You can tell that the operators have invested a lot... of love and time here.
Overall, probably the best campsite in Malcantone, even if the price-performance ratio could be better. It is surrounded by forest. The small towns of Astano and Sessa are nearby. There is a store at the campsite with all the essentials. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. The owner couple look after the site with attention to detail, making camping a pleasant experience. Everything is very clean and well-kept. You can buy the most necessary groceries in the store and the fruit/vegetable seller comes to the site every evening with his sales bus.
