The location is still the same as in my last review.
The pitches are spacious and offer plenty of room for campers of all kinds.
The staff... were once again extremely friendly and helpful.
They were always on hand with help and advice and made our stay even more enjoyable.
The heated pool and sauna area are lovely, but the sanitary area with lots of Swiss stone pine is particularly noteworthy.
It is not only spotlessly clean, but also impressively large and exudes an ambience that is second to none.
The pine wood lends the area a wonderful fragrance that enhances the relaxation even more.
All in all, our stay at the Ansitz Wildberg campsite is still an unforgettable experience. We can still recommend this campsite without reservation and have already been here again.

The site itself? Breathtaking! Embedded in the picturesque nature of South Tyrol and located directly on the rushing river, Camping Wildberg offers a backdrop that simply invites you to dream. The pitches are generously sized and offer plenty of privacy. The peace and quiet, the fresh air and the breathtaking view of the mountains allowed us to slow down completely and recharge our batteries.
The sanitary facilities? Absolutely immaculate! It's rare to find such cleanliness and modern comfort on a campsite. Everything is spotless, hot water around the clock and there are even private bathrooms if you want to treat yourself to a little more luxury.
We were particularly impressed by the leisure opportunities in the surrounding area. Whether you want to go hiking, mountain biking or simply enjoy nature - there really is something for everyone here. The nearby Kronplatz is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, and there is also plenty on offer for families.
In short: Camping Wildberg completely impressed us! Everything is just right here - from the perfect location and the excellent service to the heavenly peace and quiet and the great range of leisure activities. We would have preferred not to leave and are already looking forward to our next stay. Very large and always clean, they look like a spa. Dogs and their masters can cool off at any time in the stream that runs through the campsite. The good connection directly to the cycle path and the train makes for uncomplicated excursions or shopping.ΑρνητικάThere is no real dog walk, as the path into the forest is far too steep.Mr.The site is definitely recommended, whether for a longer stay or as a transit site for a stopover from or to Italy.

The campsite offers a perfect combination of nature, comfort and hospitality. Here are some reasons why I would recommend this campsite:
Location: The campsite is located in the middle of the breathtaking Dolomites. The surroundings are simply... gorgeous! There are wonderful cycling and hiking trails to explore right on the doorstep.
Swimming pool: The heated swimming pool at the campsite is a real highlight. It's the perfect place to relax after an active day.
Sanitary facilities: The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort.
Friendliness: The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You really feel welcome here.
Surroundings: The romantic old town of Bruneck is only 3 km away and offers great shopping and restaurants. In addition, the South Tyrolean Dolomites are only a few kilometers away and offer breathtaking scenery.
All in all, I can highly recommend the Ansitz Wildberg campsite. The place is very idyllic and offers many possibilities, especially for children. The donkeys and ponies are taken out to pasture together every day!
The absolute highlight is of course the sanitary building, the toilets and showers are extremely clean at all times!
You can... reach EVERYTHING free of charge by public transport, making the campsite the perfect starting point for excursions. And each member of staff gives you tips for excursions etc.
The pitches are big enough for a caravan, even for maneuvering.
We had a comfort... pitch with water, waste water and even chemical toilet emptying facilities
(It's practical, but whether it's necessary or not... there are always people who pour water down the toilet, so it can smell pretty bad in summer...).
We were also in the dog-free zone, which we really appreciated. We would like to see this for all campsites.
The new sanitary building is a dream. So clean, so big, we've never seen anything like it. Modern and rustic, heated, just great.
The swimming pool is not big, but beautifully designed.
The place is expensive. But if you can use all public transport, some cable cars and all museums free of charge with the guest card, the price is totally ok.
You can get anywhere in South Tyrol from here, whether by bike or bus and train.
There is a great supermarket in the village where you can buy everything. There is a bakery, butcher and many good restaurants in St. Lorenzen.

Free-range chickens and all the other animals give you the feeling of spending the night on a farm. Also suitable as a stopover heading south, but then you should plan a few more days. - Alexander M.August 2023Θετικά+ Pitches large, clean, straight, equipped + huge and beautiful wash house + very very very friendly staff + brilliant location in the Puster Valley + magnificent viewΑρνητικά- you never want to go anywhere else, the bar is set too high...WONDERFUL CP in the heart of the Pustertal Valley - 6 stars!We were there for 2 weeks in August. We were immediately in love with the campsite. The operators managed to create a wonderful mixture of modernity and rusticity. We had a pitch in the premium area. The pitches are very large, well gravelled and very level. The view is wonderful. The pitch is always... kept clean and in good condition. In addition to electricity, the pitch (Premium!) also has drinking water, waste water, gas and an emptying facility for the chemical toilet. I've never had one before, but it's simply brilliant. There is a playground, a lovely pool and various animals to admire. The new wash house is really beautiful and very clean. You get helpful event tips at reception and on monitors. Twice a week, the very friendly Felix offers regional and very tasty food at the food stall. The ice cream ape also comes by 2-3 times a week. A small sauna house is also available in the winter months. There are several large ski and drying rooms in the main house.
The village is within walking distance. There is a bakery, supermarket and convenience store. It is therefore not a problem that the CP does not have its own store. Bruneck can be reached by bike in 10 minutes. With the guest card you can use public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge. Buses and trains are also within walking distance. Our car was stationary almost all the time. Bolzano and the Three Peaks by bus and train - simply brilliant and saves nerves and money. Val Pusteria/Pustertal is also ideal for cycling tours, as the cycle paths are superbly developed. There are good restaurants in the village and there is often a farmers' market. There is generally a lot on offer in the area. And always in an authentic and very hospitable way. We have fallen in love with South Tyrol...
Conclusion:
One of the most beautiful campsites we have visited so far. The site was recently extended, now more of a large operation - plots tend to be unkempt, weeds are rampant - Only one access to the small river on the site. This is in the no-dog area. Very impractical.Neat, but no 5 starsWe stayed on a premium pitch for 9 nights in the high season. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are clear limitations that do not justify the high price. These include the fact that there are no shopping facilities on the site and the distance to the sanitary building is very long, depending on the location.
