The premium pitches P.1 to P.12 enclose the campsite . The campers have to cross the pitches. There is only one ladies' and one men's toilet in this area.Campsite directly on Lake ThunI find the sometimes very good ratings exaggerated.

The whole crew is very welcoming, uncomplicated and hospitable. We had a very nice area with 8 pitches at our disposal and felt very comfortable. We can highly recommend the campsite, especially for a group. The only downside is the proximity to the road, which means a small deduction in the rating. There are only 3 showers in one room with 3 toilets, 2 urinals and 5 washbasins for the men's area. I don't know about the women's area. The washbasins are not suitable for children. It would be nice to separate the toilets and provide more showers. At least one washbasin for children would be nice. There is a second toilet in a container 1x men and 1x women. Very strong temperature fluctuations when showering, it was almost impossible to set a constant temperature. Depending on the operation, the sanitary area would have to be cleaned more often, it just depends on how everyone leaves the area.Highs and lowsOn the whole, the place can be recommended. Not much space for tents. Pitch is not so good for them in the most places. But its ok generally and should not stop you. Mark and his team are very friendly and the site is open all year round. Sanitary facilities top notch. Good location for all kinds of activities in the Interlaken area.
Unfortunately, the road traffic is a bit of a nuisance (the municipality should introduce a speed limit here) and the ground quickly becomes very muddy when wet. Helicopters, traffic not far away.Between the mountains and by the lakeHighly recommended overall. Swiss prices prevail, of course. Beautifully situated between the mountains and on the lake. You can travel to Interlaken and the surrounding area free of charge. Bus stop right next to the campsite.

the reception and restaurant with terrace are exceptionally pretty and housed in a log cabin.

It is very well served by public transport and very attractive with a tourist ticket. The proximity to the lake, Interlaken and the numerous cable cars to the surrounding top vantage points make the stay very interesting.
