Beautifully situated campsite right on the lake. A great place to relax. Friendly atmosphere and very good sanitary facilities. The price-performance ratio is very good. We spent a few very relaxing and restful days there and can only recommend this campsite.

Hello outdoor friends, we like the campsite "Am Grossen Mochowsee" very much. We were warmly welcomed and properly briefed. The campsite is well equipped. It's not far to the toilets. The showers and washrooms are clean. There is no garbage lying around on the site.... Everything is in a tidy condition. You should definitely take a walk around the lake. The water is very clear. You can hire good rowing boats.
Thank you again for the lovely quiet days with you! We will definitely be back!

The beach is small, but clean and not crowded. Friendly staff! Shower token lasts a long time!

The kiosk on the site was closed for a week due to illness (which is nobody's fault), the nearest shopping facilities are about 4 km away. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but clean! Extra payment for the car. Bread roll service was available on Tuesday and Saturday from 07:30 - 07:45. For Sunday you could pre-order bread rolls. There is not much for children except a playground for the little ones and a volleyball court for the older ones.
Beautiful experience
We arrived on a Saturday, hoping to get a place for our caravan as you can't make a reservation. The reception was very friendly. The pitches are freely selectable, where we were lucky and were able to use a great pitch. The kiosk was completely closed for a week, we ate at the Italian restaurant in... Friedland, highly recommended.

What was a pity was that you have to pay extra if you have your car pulling the caravan. The campsite and the beach are very well maintained.

There is a "dog toilet" for dog owners.

We were relaxed despite the weather and the few things you can do on site.

We went on day trips and had fun: climbing forest in Lübben, canoeing in Lübben and the zoo in Cottbus.

Great place and top price/performance!
Two of us stayed at the campsite for a long weekend. The first impression was promising, we were given a very warm welcome. The site is not overly large, with a high number of permanent campers, but that didn't bother us. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, but still very clean. The only thing that... surprised us was the layout of the shower rooms: the hooks for towels and clothes hang outside the shower cubicles and the size of the shower cubicle makes it impossible to get dressed inside it. Showers cost 50 cents. Otherwise we were very impressed with the site, the picturesque location on the lake and the leisure opportunities in the Spreewald region are great.

The circular hiking trail around the lake also leads across the bathing area. Larger purchases only in Goyatz or Lieberose.
A really nice vacation campsite - we'll be back again and again!
The "hit" is the eponymous Great Mochow Lake with almost ideal conditions for swimming, paddling or rowing to the island and bathing platform opposite Mochow (boats for hire for a small fee). There are a few pitches for travelers at the bathing area and many more on the higher meadow near the playground... and sports areas. Additional sanitary container there. - Overall, a fully equipped 3-star campsite, everything there in good quality and impeccable cleanliness. No store on site, a bakery van comes to the site. The immediate surroundings are very scenic, the nearby Spreewald offers many other leisure and excursion possibilities. Very family-friendly atmosphere. Our children love the site!

Märkischer campsite
If you drive to this site, you will end up on a normal campsite in East Brandenburg. The terrain is hilly, with a bathing area by a lake and characterized by permanent campers. There are marked pitches for short-stay campers and also a large meadow for tents, which can also be used by caravans and camper... vans. Sanitary buildings (clean) and a restaurant are located near the barrier, and there is also an extra sanitary container on the tent meadow. There is also a children's playground, table tennis and volleyball court. Showers cost only € -.50, but there are no individual washing cubicles. The nearest shops are in Lieberose or Straupitz, but there is a daily bread roll service on site. There are all kinds of possibilities for hikers, the friendly reception will be happy to advise you.

Was there last year. It's a quiet campsite (apart from the neighbors we had). We found the permanent campers to be unfriendly. Unfortunately there are few leisure facilities apart from a volleyball court and a table tennis table. There are jetties leading into the water and a small sandy beach. You can... row a boat across the lake and on the other side (accessible by car) there is also a beach and from there you can even reach the island on the lake. The sanitary facilities are in good condition and there is also a small toilet block by the tent meadow. The lake is particularly beautiful in the evening, the sunsets are the best. An adequate and inexpensive campsite in itself. :)
